Blushing when embarrassed or just a constant red face?

Have had this all my life, am 31 now and either I have just accepted it and don't worry as much about it or else it has gotten a bit better.
I remember researching ways to reduce blushing a lot when I was a bit younger. Some of the main ways to ease blushing were medication (which is probably better now than it was back then) and also just becoming aware of specific triggers. I never had much luck with that as I went red by just meeting a friend on the street. No way of predicting it.
Next time you are in with your doctor you should ask. I have a youngish doctor and they tend to keep up to date about these kind of issues.
TBH, the last time I raised it with my doc, the first thing he did was ask me did it bother me. And when I thought about it, I replied that it wasn't as big a thing as it was when I was a teen. He did say medication was improving and if I was down about it, to go back to him and he would tell me my options.
I know there is/was also a kind of procedure you could get done that involved clamping some tube/artery/something in your chest though the success rate wasn't fantastic and there were side effects such as no sweating or other stuff. I'm not sure about hypnotism, though.
To anybody who doesn't suffer from this, I have to tell you that it is a pain in the ass and it can make a person feel very awkward socially.
Anyway, best of luck with it. I really think the doctor is your best shot for advice.

I suffered from bad blushing when I was younger and got hypnosis which really helped. I do suffer from it now, but its not too bad.
