iPhone 4 unlock

    I know this is posted up here already but I'm just at the end of my tether right now I'm trying to get my iPhone 4 unlocked from vodafone and they have said they have unlocked it but I tried another sim today and I can't pick up any network ( 3 mobile ) they said they can't do any more for me and short of sending it off to apple I don't know what to do am I doing something wrong do I need to download carrier settings or something to pick up signal please help !!!!!

    Did the carrier unlock file come through on iTunes?
