Welcome to the BWA Raw pre-show!
Live from The Allstate arena, Chicago Illinois
All the lights in the arena are off as we go to air, making it all the more impressive when the pyros (not as much as usual, it's still the pre-show) hit. just then a large spotlight appears in the center of ring. A figure stands in it who slowly raises his head to a good pop from the crowd as they realize that it is none other than the BWA's own Bounty Hunter. It's been 8 long years since I first stood before you as the then chairman of the BWA and introduced our first ever PPV which saw John Cena go up against Hulk Hogan in the main event. I knew it, you knew it, and everyone in the draft universe knew we had something special at that point, but we didn't rest on our laurels o no... We continued to bring in the biggest names the professional wrestling industry had every seen, from Bret Hart and HHH to Bruno Sanmartino and Stone Cold Steve Austin. We continued to push the envelope with risque storylines (Jeff Jarrett the massive racist, Bob Sapp the rapist!) and gave you the fans, exactly what you wanted to see, whether that was the Bryan Danielson/Dynamite Kid Iron man match or the Jenna Jameson PPV half time striptease, and yet every year we were overlooked when the top rated show in the game was decided....until last year and Wrestlepalooza V! (crowd cheer)
Finally last year we put the Monday night wars and those dastards over at MNG & WECWF firmly in our rear view mirror. We proved to the world what they should have already known, that the BWE is the place to be and the no.1 promotion in the entire world! and now as we enter a new draft year I have a promise for all of you at home and 6 simple words. We will not stand still, we will improve, Wrestlepaloza VI will be bigger and better than anything before it o and...Welcome to BWA Monday Night Raw!
the lights return all around the arena as the crowd begin to chant *BWA**BWA**BWA**BWA*
Bounty Hunter looks to be leaving the ring but stops himself returning to the mic and saying "To prove those are not just words, I'd like to welcome you to the new BWA announcing team for 2016 Bobby "The Brain" Heenan & Gorlilla Monsoon!
The crowd go nuts!
Monsoon: That right Bobby we are back! finally re-united and here in the BWA! listen to those fans
Heenan: Those fans know that I am a legend in this sport and if you don't believe me, ask me.
Monsoon: Will you stop!
Heenan: I will not stop Monsoon cos tonight is a blockbuster show here in the BWA, not only are we here but there will be tag team title and world heavyweight title matches here tonight!
Monsoon: That is huge but didn't you tell me you had a more personal announcement you wanted to make to get us started here tonight Brain
Heenan: oh yes.
and with that Heenan leaves the announce table (swapping places with Bounty Hunter who takes his place alongside Monsoon) and heads into the ring, then with a Mic in hand addresses the audience.Heenan: You really are a very lucky group of people here tonight (to the audience), not only are you going to get two title matches live here in Chicago but you have also already gotten to witness the BWA debut of me Bobby "The Brain" Heenan!
You are also going to get the chance to witness the BWA debut of another of the greatest entities in sports entertainment history on tonight's show. For those of you yet to hit puberty and don't know who that is let me elaborate. You see, after tonight the team who will be the BWA tag team champions and the most dominant team in the federations history will be The Brainbusters and they... they are my boys. But they are not alone, they are part of a group of wrestlers I have managed throughout the years, a group more formidable than any other in all of wrestling, and no we are not a stable, A stable is a place where you keep a bunch of fly-infested horses, we... we are a Family!
Now that Arn & Tully have their father figure back leading the way forward it's time we welcome their brother in arms back in to the fold. A man who has stood by our side in the past and with whom now we will together go from strength to strength once more. That man of course is....(gestures up the ramp to the tron by the entrance way)
Monsoon: Barry Horowitz! Really?
Bounty Hunter: I don't think that's who Bobby was expecting Monsoon, isn't Rick Rude supposed to be debuting here tonight?
Heenan asks Barry what in the blue hell he's doing coming out there and is seemingly even more surprised when he responds by suggesting that they had discussed it before hand and that The Brain had agreed to allow Horowitz to join The Heenan Family. Instead of snapping Heenan is able to calm himself down and very slowly explains to Horowitz what he actually said so that there is no further crossed wires. Apparently when he had approached Heenan looking for guidance in the hope that becoming a Heenan Family member could turn his career around and get him a big match at Wrestlepalooza Bobby had told him he would let him join his crew but only if he could prove he wasn't a jobber by picking up a win before the PPV itself.
Barry seems pleased with this and says he won't let Heenan down before heading to the back at which point Heenan returns to his promo bigging up Rude and promises that under his guidance the next BWA World champion will be a Heenan family member.
Unfortunately for Heenan though Bounty Hunter re-enters the ring and whispers something in his ear. "God-damn Barry" he is heard to exclaim, It would seem he has just been told that due to time constraints on the pre-show they would have to move things along but he plays it off as all his own idea and says that They (the fans) will have to wait till the Raw goes Live to see The Ravishing One.
Before leaving the ring Heenan introduces a recap video which highlights the past year in the BWA leading up to tonight's season premiere
Another dominant champion who has held his title for over a year now is Gorgeous George who last year never got his comeuppance from the man who used to idolize him Pat Patterson cheating to retain the IC title after (in the build up to their match) using vile hateful homophobic terms towards Patterson. To this day Patterson has yet to get a rematch against the still Intercontinental champion George. Patterson has actually been on hiatus from the company recently after receiving a suspension for attacking George backstage.
The tag team division also gets a good amount of time in this video and deservedly so as Arn Anderson & Tully Blanchard aka "The Brainbuster" have been unstoppable since they arrived in the company during the summer as surprise challengers in a match former champions Abdullah The Butcher & The Original Shiek had to win in order to keep their jobs. After banishing them from the federation Arn & Tully then set their sights on winning the tag titles and now reunited with Bobby Heenan it could be difficult for anyone to stop them. However champions Jack & Gerry, The Brisco Brothers who themselves won the BWA tag team titles at last years Wrestlepalooza have don't seem to fear any team and thats why tonight they have agreed to face Heenans boys for the gold. Will we see new champions crowned tonight on the very first show of the new season?
The Video culminates in the recent weeks which built to tonight where the Road to Wrestlepalooza will begin again and points out how Bounty Hunter was sent on a mission to make trades in order to bring in even more top talent. It shows how Chris Benoit who had proven extremely unpopular on the house show circuit was traded for The Mexican Legend El Santo]/b] & The Patriarch of Guerrero family Salvador "Gory" Guerrero plus The man who you already know will debut tonight, Rick Rude.
Unlike Benoit another new signing has proved a real fan favorite both at house shows and recent and some are even suggesting that should Daniel Bryan actually retire he might be primed to be his replacement on the card. The he I speak of is of course Sami Zayn but he isn't the only other fan favorite to have recently signed with the BWA and as the video emphasizes the trade of The Great Muta to the BWA has really made waves although he is not believed to be making his debut tonight.
We are also told that he won't be the last big name signee to debut in the federation this draft season but whom they will be is as of now still a mystery, perhaps we will get a few surprise entries in this years BWA Royal Rumble. One thing that has been reported though and which this video package leaves us on is that one of those signed is considered comparable to Hulk Hogan or Bret Hart in his home country of Japan.
When the video ends we are briefly shown a shot of the clock which is counting down till BWA Raw goes to air (20 mins remain) before we are brought backstage to where an interview is being conducted by Bounty Hunter with Killer KowalskiBounty Hunter: So Killer, A new season is upon us and what can you tell us about the new batch of BWA trainees down in the development center?
Kowalski: they are developing.
Bounty Hunter: umm okay, So will we be seeing any Kowalski guys trying to make a name for themselves in the BWA over the coming weeks?
Kowalski: Yes you will.
Bounty Hunter: Is everything ok Killer? you seem a bit shorter with me than usual?
Kowalski: No everything is not ok
Bounty Hunter: I'm sure I speak for everyone here Mr Kowalski when I say that the BWA wants to keep you happy in your role as our head trainer?
Kowalski: Well...(stares daggers at Bounty Hunter) I'm not Happy and as of now I'm not going to train anyone else for your precious BWA! now get out of my dressing room!
We then get another brief shot of the countown to Raw clock (which is now at the 15m mark) before we cut away to a pre recorded interview, this time between BWA Intercontinental champion Gorgeous George and Josh Matthews.
Josh asks him about his match tonight on Raw and if he is worried about facing an opponent he has never faced before in the form of Rick Rude but George just says that anyone who has seen how dominant his reign as IC champion has been would know that he fears no man and that it's Rude who should be worried about the embarrassment of debuting with a crushing loss. Josh wanted to question this suggestion but George interrupts his question telling him to make sure that nobody else (he suggests tabloids like TMZ are always after him) comes looking to interview him stating that he needed a full un-interrupted hour in his private floatation tank to help prepare himself to wrestle in the opening match of BWA Raw tonight.
We head back to ringside now and to a rather peeved looking Bobby Heenan
Heenan: The cheek of that man, to suggest Rick Rude should fear facing him.
Monsoon: Well he does have a pretty good track record in the BWA
Heenan: really? your defending him?...who would you rather face between the two so?
Monsoon: Hey I'm still in fighting shape if either of those guys stepped up to me I wouldn't back down!
This conversation is halted by The arrival of the BWA's newest recent acquisition... Brock Lesnar
Heenan: Go ahead then Mr Wouldn't back down to anyone, thats your cue, off you go and get in that mans business?
Monsoon gives Heenan a look as if to say "Will You Stop!" but Heenan is right, it's time for his sit down interview with The Beast.Monsoon: So Mr Lesnar, What is it that has lead to you being the newest Superstar on the BWA roster?
Brock: I'm not a superstar. I'm an ass kicker. I am Brock Lesnar. What brings me here is the same thing that makes me happy... Beating people up, the BWA just has a better standard of people to beat up (big smirk).
Monsoon: So you believe the wrestlers here in the BWA will be a good challenge for you?
Brock: There isn't anybody in the BWA, past or present, that has the accolades that I've got. Nobody can challenge me. I don't feel pain, I inflict it!
Monsoon: and what of your long time Advocate Paul Heyman will he be joining you in the BWA?[/COLOR]
Brock: Why? Am I not speaking well enough for you old man, did I not negotiate myself a good enough deal to come here. I am getting a title shot tonight on my first night in the company am I not?
Monsoon (who now looks a little uncomfortable): Umm thats not what I meant but that's huge news Brock Lesnar 1on1 with CM Punk in the first BWA main event of the new season! Can you tell us what you expect from that match?
Brock (rolls his eyes) : Maybe I do need a new mouthpiece so I don't have deal with nonsense like this... out of my way I have to prepare to take someone to suplex city.
Brock then pushes Monsoon out of the way and gets out of the ring and heads to the back, Monsoon is obviously annoyed but doesn't do anything even though he knows Heenan is bound to rib him about this later.

For those with the BWA network the shows start is very reminiscent of the Pre-Show with All the lights in the arena off again as we go to air, No Pyros no anything this time just the large spotlight in the center of ring which Bounty Hunter once again steps into to a great ovation from the now full crowd here in Chicago. Again for the benefit of those without the network he cuts a similar promo about the history of the company and emphasizing how big a night tonight would be with the debut of a new season of BWA Raw and the debut of the new announce team of Bobby Heenan and Gorilla Monsoon (the crowd begin to chant *BWA**BWA**BWA**BWA*). One major change from what was announced on the pre-show is that he says there will also be an Intercontinental title match tonight.
He then proceeds to address the rumors that have been flying around about the BWA world champion
Bounty Hunter: You've all heard the rumors by now...The Champ CM Punk, who won the title as part of the Wrestlepalooza V triple threat main event, has supposedly signed a contract with a new federation to be their marquee name (LeeJM's but since traded to Walt). The rumor goes they were willing to offer more money than the BWA who believed they offered a fair amount for someone who after their new talent acquisitions in the 2016 draft may no longer be their top name
Bounty Hunter however points out that CM Punk still has one night left on his BWA contract and as it's the last chance to stop him walking out of here tonight still in possession of the BWA world title he announces that they booked him in a world title match vs....However before he can announce the opponent he is interrupted by Rick Rude. There is a surprisingly large amount of boos for the debuting superstar. Perhaps that is just because of his heelish arrival but either way he is clearly annoyed by this but composes himself and continues as normal
Rude: "What I'd like to have right now is for all you high-rollin' Chi-Town sweathogs, keep the noise down while I take my robe off and give the ladies a good look at the sexiest man alive"
he then proceeds to strip off to his tights while the fans boo even more.
Rude: Get out of here (to Bounty Hunter, who obliges), these people already know and the people at home all watch the BWA pre-show so they too know that it's CM Punk vs Brock Lesnar later tonight even though it should have been the Ravishing one. that said I still feel good and I look even better... After all I make a burlap sack look like a cashmere sweater and up next I face a champion myself, The Intercontinental champion Gorgeous George.
The Gorgeous one vs The Ravishing one, no better way to kick off the new season of BWA Raw... and after I defeat him you will be looking at the undisputed sexiest champion in all of wrestling.
Gorgeous George then makes his way out Nikki Bella by his side. When they reach the ring she gives him a kiss on the cheek, helps him take off his robe and then heads to the back.
Intercontinental title match: Gorgeous George vs Rick Rude
The two put on a great back and forth match and despite how long he has reigned as IC champion George's title looks in jeopardy until
Pat Patterson comes out of the crowd and into the ring where he attacks the champion. The crowd who to be honest didn't really want either man to win the match gave Patterson a great ovation on his return to the company and seemed to love seeing him delivering several big rights and lefts to George's face before eventually having security stop him as the ref called for the bell.
Winner via DQ: Gorgeous George
Monsoon: Finally Pat Patterson is getting some well deserved payback
Heenan: give over Monsoon, Patterson needs to learn you win some, you lose some. Unless your wrestling in MNG or the WECWF then you lose em all
Monsoon: Will you stop! Just cos Rude is a "Heenan guy" and he was cost the match here, try and be impartial will you
Heenan: wait are you still talking? give it a rest will you I wanna hear what the Ravishing one has to say
We then head backstage to get an interview with the BWAs newest star who has just returned from the ring Rick RudeRick Rude looks outraged as Josh Matthews asks him about how it feels to have debuted in the no.1 rated promotion in the world.
Rude -"How do you think it feels! This was supposed to be my moment, my time to shine and not only is the match ruined by interference but those fans have the audacity to boo me... me! I went out of my way to secure a trade to this promotion and for what... boos! What have I ever done to warrant boos?! "
he then pushes Josh out of his way and heads to the back of the dressing room where he sits in front of a monitor angrily muttering to himself. Meanwhile Josh continues to address the camera talking about another big trade the BWA have made that has just been announced (as he does we cut to a video introducing this star to the BWA audience)
This announcement pops the crowd something fierce and When we return to Josh Matthews we can see Rude in the background looking like he could hurt someone so Josh quickly sends us back to Monsoon & Heenan at ringside
As we come back to ringside El Santo & Gory Guerrero make their war down to the ring
Heenan:So You call them Luchadores eh?
Monsoon: yep Luchadores
Heenan: That sounds like the tight pants that you wear at a bullfight
Monsoon just shakes his head as the match begins
Salvador "Gory" Guerrero w/El Santo vs Barry HorrowitzGuerrero grabs the Mic from the ring announcer and says: Hola Esse, I just wanna say that I dedicate my victory tonight to that caliente mama cita I just saw backstage. You all (pointing at the fans) will have to wait for the ink to dry on her contract to see her in this ring but Baby you don't have to wait for some Latino heat (winks into the camera).
Horrowitz looks competitive to begin with but this match mostly succeeds in making the newly signed Mexican wrestler look good and he eventually wins by making Barry tap from his signature backbreaker submission hold the Gory Special.
Winner: Gory Guerrero
Horowitz is used to losing but this time he is clearly more annoyed than usual, he really seems to be desperate to get that win so Heenan will manage him.
Heenan:Even El Santo has to be rolling his eyes listening to what Guerrero was saying before that match
Monsoon: How can you tell, he's wearing a mask?
Heenan: Not over his eyes Monsoon!! just over that no doubt ugly mug of his
Monsoon: Will you...ah whats the point, let's see what the other BH has to say
---BWA Bounty Hunter then introduces the 48th and current Governor of Michigan, Richard Dale Snyder who appears on the titantron live via satellite---"Hello, My name is Richard Dale Snyder and I am the Governer of the great state of Michigan, home of the largest American Football stadium currently in use in the United States of America, Michigan Field... and I am proud to announce that "The Big House" has just won the rights to host this years Wrestlepalooza! Together the BWA and the state of Michigan will make Wrestlepalooza VI the biggest show ever in Pro Wrestling history.deal announced"The Big House" Michigan Field
Highest attendance to date: 115,109 Michigan vs Notre Dame
We return from that blockbuster announcement just in time for this main event level tag team match up
BWA Tag team title match: The Brainbusters (Arn Anderson & Tully Blanchard) vs Jack & Gerry Brisco (c)
The Briscos have held the titles ever since Wrestlepalooza last year but it could be argued that they have yet to face as stern a test as Arn & Tully provide. On top of that Monsoon is left on his own at ringside as The Brainbusters manager Bobby Heenan makes himself a constant nuisance at ringside. Heenan actually plays into the conclusion of this match by first exposing a turnbuckle and then when Jack Brisco is busted wide open by being thrown head first into it getting a number of cheap shots in on the former NWA world champion from outside the ring. This infuriated Gerry who chased Heenan around the ring and up the ramp but in doing so left his brother unable to tag out. A fact he only found out after pulling out all the stops to fight his way free of Arn Anderson's grasp and get to his corner only to have no partner there for him and then when he turned around to try and fight on he is immediately caught by Arn in a spinning spinebuster. Anderson then tags his partner back in and the two hit their Double team finishing move the Spike piledriver and Blanchard makes the 3 count pin just before Gerry Brisco is able to get back into the ring to break it up.
Winners and new tag team champions: The Brainbusters
After the match the victors quickly head to the back as if making a getaway with their newly acquired titles while Jack does his best to console Gerry Brisco about their loss but he clearly believes that he cost his team their titles and is struggling with that fact. Just when he seems to have gotten himself together three men come out of the crowd and charge the ring taking both men out. Exhausted from the match they just had The Brisco Brothers are easy pickings and after being stomped down for a bit they drop to the mat at which point it becomes apparent who their attackers are... Killer Kowalski, Fritz & Waldo Von Erich. Standing above them Kowalski makes a Claw gesture at which point both Von Erich's lock in their signature Iron Claw on the downed duo. Eventually admist a shower of boos they release the hold and allow the two men to drop back to the mat.
We then go to a commercial break and when we return the invading superstars have gone and we are told The Briscos are receiving medical attention while we head backstage for an interview with The Bella twinsNikki: First off Guerrero, just no "Papi"
Brie: I mean I'm a married woman but... ewwww
Nikki: But thats not what we want to talk about now Brie is it?
Brie: nah Babe we want to talk about this (stroking the womans title over her sisters shoulder) and just wanna apologize to the entire Bella Army cos you won't be seeing Nikki defending it or the two of us at the Royal Rumble .
Nikki: (mimics crying) boo hoo, seems We have scared off all the women in the BWA even Ronda Rousey (was in the BWA last year) and there is nobody brave enough to face us... oh well!
We return to ringside just as the crowd sing along with the entrance of [b}Sami Zayn[/b]
Sami Zayn vs Local Heel Jobber
Sami puts on a great display here and the crowd are loving it as he picks up the win.
Winner: Sami Zayn
After the match we get a preview for the upcoming BWA Royal Rumble PPV and when we return Daniel Bryan makes his way out to the ring YES'ing all the way out and as usually getting a great reaction and an almighty pop. He says he will address his health situation but first wants to show a short video that he was just shown in the back about his time in the BWA. This actually Chronicles his rise from working in small gyms for often less than a hundred people all the way to when he became the BWA champion.(a few years back in the draft he headlined BWA Wrestlemania vs HHH and won the title before he did similar in real life WWE)
As that video ends he thanks the crowd who are once again yessing at the final scene of him with the world title in hand and then addresses the elephant in the room."Okay yes, it's been well documented that I've had some serious injuries and that there were some serious concerns with regards my history of concussions and that as a result I've essentially had to sit out the past year as the BWA doctors refuse to clear me. My own doctor says my injuries have healed but the company being so reticent to let me step back in the ring has honestly made me start to contemplate my future."
"After reaching such heights here in the BWA I don't think I could see myself wrestling anywhere else... even the mere thought of being in a promotion such as MNG or WECWF truly makes my stomach churn. NO disrespect to them but I fought my whole life to get to where I am today and Once you have reached the heights of becoming BWA world champion nothing else can quite compare. "
"So as much as this pains me to say it... if the BWA doctors can't be convinced to reconsider maybe I will have to retire."
The crowd begin to chant "NO NO NO" as the commentators suggest maybe he and Brie Bella might decide to start a family together. It is a very touching moment and you can clearly see the crowds response getting to Bryan a little until both the announcers and the crowd are silenced by the unexpected sound of...Brock Lesnar's music
Monsoon: Oh gawd Bryan get out of there, it's the Beast and he looks pissed
Heenan: When does Brock not look pissed?
Monsoon: When he is destroying someone, and look at him, he has his eyes set on Daniel Bryan!
Heenan: Why in gods name isn't he getting out of the ring?!
The two go face to face and Bryan (who was obviously a bit annoyed to be interupted by Lesnar) shows absolutely no fear and as one of the announcers starts shouting for him to think about his surgically repaired neck and that there is a reason the BWA doctors won't let him wrestle he actually starts yessing in front of Brock. Brock literally looks like he could just snap at any second and... he does! he grabs Bryan and hits an F5 before letting out a deafening war cry. Bryan gingerly tries to get back to his feet but when he does he is grabbed from behind as Brock delivers a devastating release german suplex which actually sends Bryan crashing through the second and bottom ring ropes and to the outside.
Medical personal are immediately called for because as we see in subsequent replays Bryan actually landed on the back of his head / neck area. There is real concern for his well being and as we go to commercial everyone is frantically trying to help Bryan. That is except for Lesnar who is laughing maniacally in the ring.
As we return from the break footage is shown of Daniel Bryan being helped out of the arena on a stretcher with his distraught wife Brie Bella by his side, We are told he has been brought to a local medical facility although thankfully the paramedics don't feel this bump is as bad as first seemed although it has in most peoples minds rubber stamped Bryan's retirement.
Our attention is then brought back to the ring where Brock Lesnar is waiting still as tonights main event is announced as being for the BWA World heavyweight title and BWA World Heavyweight champion CM Punk makes his way out, if rumors are to be believed, for the last ever time to a BWA ring. The crowd don't get on his back though afterall he is the hometown boy.
Main Event: World Heavyweight title match - CM Punk (c) vs Brock Lesnar
The two former Heyman guys really go at it at an incredible pace in this one with Punk surprisingly on top as it kicks off constantly evading Brock and catching him with several stinging kicks. Despite the beast catching him with one huge clothesline and a few impactful suplexes the frustration was clear to see upon Brocks face as Punk wriggled out of his F5 attempts every time he went for it. Never was his irritation more clear than moments later when Punk shocks him with a rollup pin that comes very close to a 3 count. He looks p!ssed and things don't improve for him as Punk hits his Shining wizard running strike to Brock as he tries to get back up. However he didn't connect perfectly (despite this it seems the fans and announcers now have started to believe that perhaps Punk will leave the company with the world title) so instead of going for a pin he heads to the top turnbuckle before saluting the heavens and going for his "Macho Man" Diving elbow drop. Brock however amazingly pops up and catches Punk mid-air before hitting an F5 and going for a pin, 1, 2..kickout!
Again Brock looks incensed while Punk rolls to the outside and stumbles over to the announcers table trying to catch his breath. The Beast doesn't give him a seconds rest-bite however following him to the outside cracking his head off the table and tossing him back into the ring. An angry looking Lesner then says something to Heenan (which Monsoon assumes is him being critical of how they were calling the match) before heading back into the ring himself, but as he does he is caught by a Punk roundhouse kick which send him stumbling back against the ropes and then forward into Punk who lifts him up for and delivers his GTS finisher. He goes for the pin but after a few seconds realizes the referee isn't counting! He is instead argueing with Bobby Heenan who is up on the ring apron. Punk grabs the ref and starts screaming at him telling asking what the hell he is doing, and saying that he should be counting to 3, he also gives Heenan a dirty look and threatens to knock him off the apron but "The Brain" just points behind the Straight Edge superstar at which point Punk turns around and right into a second F5! 1..2..3! We have a new champion
Winner: Brock Lesnar!
I'ts at this moment that Rick Rude & The Brainbusters come charging down to ringside. For a moment it looks like they are going to square up to Brock Lesnar but then they start laying into the downed CM Punk including Arn & Tully for the second time tonight hitting their double team finisher The Spike Piledriver before Bobby Heenan who is now in the ring literally kicks Punk out of the ring and out of the BWA.
The boo's are ringing out in the Former champs hometown as the show ends and The final image the fans are treated to is Brock Lesnar flanked on one side by Rick Rude and Bobby Heenan and the other The Brainbusters Arn Anderson & Tully Blanchard as he lifts the BWA World Heavyweight title aloft all the while Gorilla Monsoon is screaming about how he has joined The Heenan Family and how this is bad news for everyone in the BWA, posing the question how could anyone defeat The Beast now?

, BWA RawRecap of the past few weeks
*Since Brock has joined the Heenan Family nobody has dared to oppose them with Daniel Bryan & CM Punk not appearing on BWA Raw now
*Sami Zayn has had a few matches since his debut on Raw but interestingly so has El Generico.
*The trio of Kowalski, Fritz & Waldo Von Erich have also made a number of appearances which much like their first one saw them target a defeated, usually American wrestler for a sneak attack.
*Gory Guerrero has continued to woo his mystery women who according to him will debut either tonight or on the following Raw
*Daniel Bryan has been tweeting about how even if he has to miss The Rumble some "friends of his" would be debuting, subsequent tweets suggested his friends might consist of a singles wrestler and a tag team that he says "are coming for the tag champs".

Brock Lesnar! Some would Guaran-damn-tee that he will win, or tell you it's a spoiler that he is going to defeat Gorilla Monsoon but I am just going to tell you that Brock Lesnar being the champion in the main event of Wrestlepalooza (the next PPV) is an indisputable fact.
Then there are my boys The Brainbusters... Arn Anderson & Tully Blanchard who are simply and without a doubt the greatest tag team of all time. The mere notion of those brothers Brisco taking them belts is the definition of insanity. Monsoon might call this place Bizzaro land but no matter how crazy you canucks are, you know thats not going to fly!World Tag Team Titles match: The Brainbusters (c) vs The Brisco BrothersAfter their last encounter The Brisco's were enraged, claiming that they only lost due to the champions cheating. Since then they have backed up Gorilla Monsoon as he went up against The Heenan family and as a result find themselves once again with a tag titles shot but this time the rest of the Heenan family have been banned from ringside and Heenan himself has been told that if he strays from the announce table and causes a DQ the titles will change hands.
Because of the above, Brock & Rude head to the back at this point while Heenan also leaves the ring and goes to the announce table.
The Brisco Brothers proved last year at Wrestlepalooza the limits they would go to to win the tag titles and now with a clean match guaranteed they look confident as this match begins. Despite this it's the Brainbusters who impress most especially after a Blanchard slingshot suplex drops Gerry hard on his shoulder and Arn & Tully work the injury from that point forward. They tag in and out quick and often and really wear the younger brother down. So much so he looks like he can barely go on but eventually he makes it to big brother Jack who gets the hot tag. He cleans house and it looks like the tide might be turning until at the first sign that Jack might be struggling (Arn has him locked in an abdominal stretch) Gerry tags himself back in.
This was a big mistake Gerry simply couldn't cope in his condition with the double teaming that followed culminating in a Spike Pildriver and Anderson made the 3 count cover while Tully kept Jack at bay.
Winners: The Brainbusters
A huge win for Heenan's boys especially as Bobby points out, it's a clean win which nobody can dispute.
After the match the Brainbusters leave after a hearthy slap on the back from Heenan. Meanwhile Jack tries to convince Gerry Brisco that everything is ok as he looks distraught and blames himself for the loss unfortunately things don't improve for the brothers though as Killer Kowalski & The Von Erichs arrive out of the crowd and attack them, they give them quite a beating before tossing them to the outside and cutting a promoKowalski " My name is Walter Kowalski, this here is Fritz Von Erich and his brother Waldo, they don't work for the BWA and yet we have all made our presence known here...why? because of the fans... no not all of you (In Canada).. the narrow minded, backwards Americans. Because of those hicks the company said they didn't want us, they wanted more popular wrestlers, wrestlers those people would cheers for and we weren't it.
Fritz: We've worked in America many times before, of course we have, hell I even once called myself American... but what did those promotions do when they heard our names? They made us (does the air quotes) "Evil Germans" (takes a moment while some fans boo)... That why I now reside here in good auld Canada with my Canadian born brother! (slaps Waldo on the back as the fans actually cheer for them)
Waldo: Well now that my Brother has seen the light about his former nation and it's bigoted inhabitants it's time that we joined up with (also does the air quotes) "Killer" Kowalski, a real canadian legend (big cheer) and came to the biggest promotion in the world to show the the error of their ways, embrace their hatred and to enlighten them all to the fact that American fans know nothing about professional wrestling!
This last sentence gets another big cheer from the Winnipeg fans before the trio drop their Mics make their claw gesture (all three's collective finishers) and exit the ring while the announcers start to once again reference Canada as Bizzaro land and saying that the fans shouldn't really be cheering those scoundrels no matter how much pro Canadian propaganda they spout. Monsoon in particular seems pretty p!ssed at his former tag partner Kowalski but says he has his own issues to focus on tonight. After The Bella twins stated on Raw that Nikki would not be defending her title at the upcoming PPV due to a lack of competition the company announced that they had just signed some huge female talent who would be debuting around Rumble time but that for now they wanted to see how competitive the Bellas themselves could be and booked a Bella vs Bella title match for The Rumble.BWA Womens title match: Brie Bella vs Nikki Bella (c)
This isn't the longest of matches but to give them their due the twins are quite competitive and Nikki is only able to win after breaking out a new submission move and one she has clearly learned from her new man a spinning toe hold (Gorgeous George's submission maneuver) which Brie taps out to.
Winner: Nikki Bella
Backstage Segment: We see Sami Zayn draw his number for tonights Royal rumble and tell his interviewer Sean Mooney that after tonight everyone in the BWA universe will be salivating at the thought of a dream match made reality at Wrestlepalooza as he goes one on one with Brock Lesnar. Mooney quickly reminds the audience at home that not only would Sami have to win the Rumble but that Brock Lesnar would have to retain the world title a little later tonight for that to happen. Meanwhile in the background we see Barry Horowitz find what the announcers later tell us are Steve Blackmans nunchucks, apparently he left them behind when the BWA traded him earlier this month.Intercontinental title match: Gory Guerrero vs Gorgeous GeorgeBefore this match Gory Guerrero once again cuts a promo about "the mamacita" who recently signed for the BWA that he has been completely infatuated with the past few weeks except this time as she has officially signed with the company he says he is inviting as he calls her "his soon to be lover" out to ringside to watch him become IC champion, much to his delight she actually comes out and much to everyone elses surprise it isn't one of the typical Divas or The Bella Twins, it's Aja kong. Heenan suggests she looks p!ssed but that she wouldn't blame her after that Lover comment.
Bobby Heenan is in rare form during this match with a number of one liners targeting Guerrero. First he talks about How Gory is the patriarch of the Guerrero family and that everyone is at home watching Daddy fight in his own unique way.
"Their family is watching this at home wondering if the wheels are going to get stolen off their house
Then later when Gorgeous George kicks him in the stomach when he is already on the mat.
Bobby Heenan: That's not the first time he's been on the ground holding his stomach.
Gorilla Monsoon: Huh?
Bobby Heenan: Obviously you've never had any of Mama Guerrero's chili.
Guerrero however works his way back into the match and actually gets the upper hand on George and after grounding him with a number of snap suplexes locks in his Camel Clutch. At this point he starts staring at Aja who is standing at ringside and starts blowing her kisses while mimicking that he would like to lock a similar maneuver in on Aja but perhaps in a more private setting. The crowd are eating up his antics for the most part (even if Aja doesn't look too impressed) especially as he is performing them while inflicting pain on the heel George but his lack of focus on his opponent allows him to get to the ropes and break the hold.
Gory is still transfixed on Kong and after breaking the hold waves her over sweet talking her as she approaches and then playacts that he is pleading for her to give him a kiss on the cheek which he presents to her. You might see where this is going...WHACK! Kong slaps him so hard he stumbles back into the ring looking completely dazed at which point George grabs him and rolls him up for teh 3 count pin.
Winner: Gorgeous George
Aja Kong heads straight to the back meanwhile George really plays up his victory with an over elaborate celebration much to the ire of the fans and Guerrero who is still rubbing his face where he got slapped.
Backstage Segment:We see BWA announcer Bounty Hunter (who had been in charge of drawing numbers for the Royal Rumble) is deep in contract negotiations with someone just off camera. There is a knock at the door and the cameraman has to move around out of the way as the door swings open, as he does the identity of the person negotiating a contract is revealed as Japanese legend Giant Baba whom Bounty Hunter asks to tell his tag partner to talk to him after the show before he addresses the people at the door saying that he has just been informed that he has to call the world title match (instead of Monsoon) with Bobby Heenan so doesn't have time to discuss it with them but that there is only one number left (for the rumble), no.10 and that they can decide between themselves which one of them wants it.World Heavyweight title match: Brock Lesnar (c) vs Gorilla Monsoonrecap of the build: Gorilla Monsoon was very outspoken after Brock joined The Heenan Family to win the title. He drew Brock and particularly Heenan's attention and as the former champ had left to go to another promotion and there wouldn't be a rematch Bobby Heenan challenged Monsoon to put his money where his mouth is and to take on the champ. Monsoon was reluctant but when the match was delayed to the Rumble so that he could have a few weeks to train up he accepted and reminded everyone that he wasn't always the nice guy you see on the announce table each week as the BWA showed clips of his epic 70min world title match (draw) with Bruno Sanmartino among others to build the match
Monsoon gets a good reaction when he enters the ring but so too does Lesnar much to Bounty Hunter's (now on commentary) surprise. Heenan tells him these are what are called "smart fans" and when Bounty Hunter asks how he knows this he is treated to Heenans line about what Canadians get on their tests? straight Eh's
The match itself is less of a joking matter, a brutal encounter to be honest with most of it taking place in suplex city. The crowd count at least 10 Germans in fact before Monsoon surprises everyone especially Brock making a comeback including hitting the champ with a Gorilla Press Slam and an airplane spin but he can only get a two count. It is however enough to startle Brock, the beast is noticeably on the back foot and Monsoon does not let up hitting a Gorilla splash not once but three times on Lesnar before going for the pin 1, 2... Lesnar puts his boot on the bottom rope.
Monsoon is p!ssed at himself (for going for the pin so close to the ropes) and drags Brock into the center of the ring before going for another pin but Brock kicks out before even the count of 2 and does so with authority. He fights his way up to his feet and when Gorilla tries to grab him and go for a big power move Brock reverses him into a huge German suplex and then when Monsoon Boom F5! Perhaps Brock was angered with how his opponent had been man handling him or perhaps the 3 Gorilla splashes from earlier were stuck in his mind as instead of going for a pin himself he instead hit 2 further F5s to Monsoon before placing his foot over him as the ref made the count.
Winner: Brock Lesnar
The Rumble MatchThe Rules:
We start with two men, then every 2.5m a new challenger enters the match until we have had 20 entrants total. You are eliminated when you are thrown over the ropes and both your feet touch the floor, and the last man standing at the end is the winner and new No.1 contender who will face the champion in the main event of Wrestlepaloza VI.
Entrant no.1... Rick Rude!!!Just like on Raw the crowd boo Rude Mercilessly at least until no.2 comes out
no.2: Keiji Mutoh (The Great Muta)
Mutoh in contrast gets a great pop from the crowd before squaring off against Rude. They are just starting to have a great back and forth encounter when the 3rd entrant comes out.
no.3: Barry Horowitz
Horowitz comes out to a surprisingly good ovation and charges into the ring at which point both Rude & Mutoh stop brawling and the three have a brief staredown, brief because a few seconds later pulls out Blackman's nunchucks and starts swinging them around so as to intimidate the two of them.
When he stops however Rude and Mutoh just look at each other before both hitting him in unison with superkicks and sending Horowitz crashing to the outside. Barry is incensed and has to be calmed down by BWA personnel on the outside who eventually are able to stop him from re-entering the ring and get him to the back.
Eliminated: Barry Horowitz
Meanwhile Rude and Mutoh are back going toe to toe and punch for punch with each other until Benoit low blows Mutoh to gain the advantage.
Heenan on Commentary: What a smart move, there are no disqualifications in a Royal Rumble
Rude now has the advantage and tries to toss Mutoh over the top rope but he is able to hang on just long enough to see Benoit distracted by the arrival of the 3rd entrant.
no.4: Chad Gable
Gable is immediately targeted by Benoit but is able to reverse his first attack and soon after the two are embroiled in some intense amateur style mat wrestling which actually elicits a "This is awesome chant" The standard does not stop when Mutoh gets involved with Heenan pointing out that he might not have gone to the 2012 Olympics like Gable but he was an amateur wrestler and Judo fighter previously.
Entrants no.5 & 6: Arn Anderson & Tully Blanchard
Heenan:I can assure you that is just good luck having those two great athletes draw sequential numbers.
BH: On behalf of Monsoon...Will you stop! nobody is buying that for a minute
Entrant no.7: Sami Zayn
Sami gets a great response from the crowd as he charges down to the ring and attacks all comers eventually ending up facing off against Keiji Mutoh.
This meant that the 3 members of the Heenan family were able to combne to target Chad Gable. He did very well to fight them off for a while but as the countdown started for the next entrant he was teetering on the top rope at which point a big headbutt from Blanchard sent him tumbling to the outside but as he departed the ring he grabbed a hold of the big Texan and pulled him over the top rope and to the outside as he fell.
Eliminated: Chad Gable & Tully Blanchard
Blanchard was livid and looks like he might kill Gable but the action in ring takes peoples attention away from that as we have a new entrant.
Entrant no.8: Jason Jordan
Jordan came sprinting down to the ring hoping to help his team mate but as he slides into the ring he sees the 3 men combine to eliminate him. When Arn & Rude turn around however he is waiting and 1 superkick later and Arn is sent crashing to the outside Eliminated: Arn Anderson. At this point Rude who was able to avoid Jordans initial attack starts to brawl with him
but most peoples attention is drawn to the outside where Anderson goes to quickly exit ringside but his teammate, the enraged Blanchard has begun attacking Chad Gable. Referees eventually force them apart and Gable makes his way up the ramp way but at the top of the ramp Tully, who the refs thought Anderson had calmed down attacked Gable again but this time with his tag partner.
Entrant no.9: El Santo
In Mexico he is seen as a super hero so it is perhaps appropriate that he faces both Brainbusters at the top of the ramp to save Gable. He doesn't have to face them alone for too long thankfully as by this point security have joined the host of BWA officials by the ramp and together are able to separate the two from him and Gable (who escapes to the back.)
meanwhile back in the ring a lot has changed and Rude is once again facing off against Mutoh while Sami Zayn has Jason Jordan up against the ropes and is trying to force him over them but Jordan is just about holding on until suddenly Rude comes up behind them and lifts them both over the top rope and crashing to the mat below. Eliminated: Sami Zayn & Jason Jordan
For a brief moment we are back to the two men who started the match (Mutoh & Rude) but then El Santo joins them in the ring and the clocks starts counting down to signal we will soon be back to 4 men or...
Entrant no. 10: Awesome Kharma!
Whether you call her Kong or Kharma We have our first ever female entrant in a BWA Royal Rumble and it's awesome! She more than holds her own here as she goes toe to toe with Keiji Mutoh while Rude and El Santo square off.
Entrant no.11: El Generico
El Generico makes a huge deal of his entrances milking the "Ole, Ole, Ole, Ole" chants his appearance results in. He gets everyone in the ring's attention and then when he enters he targets Kong apparently thinking she would be his easiest route to survival....exactly 5 seconds later he is tossed clear over the top rope but somehow is able grabs said top rope and just about keep himself involved.
Entrant no.12: Gory Guerrero
He comes out and according to Heenan is quite clever by not getting into the ring right away, instead he just stands around on the outside watching the action until eventually at the behest of referees climbs up onto the apron to get into the ring. He is still actually looking at those refs and assuring them he will get into the ring as he puts his hand on the top rope and pulls it down so that he can step over it. Unbeknownst to him though Kharma was in the process of slingshotting herself off the ring ropes so as to hit Rick Rude with a big clothesline and Guerrero pulling down the rope simply sends Kharma tumbling to the outside.
Eliminated: Awesome Kong
Guerrero then gets into the ring and immediately runs to aid El Santo who Rick Rude is trying to eliminate while Kharma like others before her is escorted away despite being p!ssed and wanting revenge on her eliminator.
Entrant no.13: Gorgeous George
George similar to Guerrero earlier takes his time coming out and does not get straight into the match instead picking and choosing his spot. He watches on as El Generico tries to aid the other Luchadores against Rude by hitting a Running big boot to the cornered Heenan family member only for him to dodge the attack which causes El Santo to be caught by Genericos boot (Helluva Kick) instead knocking him over the top rope. Generico is also caught with his foot on the top rope and with one quick movement Gory annoyed at what just happened to his tag partner tosses the rest of him over.
Finally George decides to enter the ring when he sees Rude taking advantage of the situation and getting Gory up on to the top rope. He quickly slides into the ring and together they dump the Guerrero to the outside.
Eliminated: El Santo, El Generico & Gory Guerrero
Entrant no.14: Jack Brisco
Brisco makes his way out and despite not being a heel he puts Muta (who had earlier gone through the middle rope and to the outside) back into the ring. He then enters the ring himself and starts fighting Gorgeous George.
Entrant no.15: Gerry Brisco
Brisco the younger gets straight into the middle of everyone with no hesitation, but it is the un-announced arrival of his buddy Pat Patterson that gets everyone talking as he once again targets his long time rival Gorgeous George. George had the other Brisco teethering and had almost eliminated him but doesent see Patterson's arrival allowing Pat to dump both men to the outside before rolling to the outside himself and heading to the back. The commentators highlight how George had been dodging Pat's calls for an IC title rematch but that now it'll be pretty hard for him to continue to ignore Patterson who they note was never officially entered into the Rumble.
Despite being the most recent rumble entrant Briscoe is clearly struggling after the injury he picked up in his match earlier tonight and is easy pickings in this match, quickly being eliminated by a leaping clothesline from Muta which knocks him clear to the outside. Eliminated: Gorgeous George, Jack & Jerry Briscoe
Entrant no.16: Waldo Von Erich
For a very brief moment we were back to the first two men who entered the rumble facing off but Von Erich changes that and immediately starts brawling with Mutoh.
Entrant no.17: Takeshi Morishima
Mutoh is being double teamed when another new arrival to the BWA comes charging down to the ring and decides perhaps unintentionally to aid his fellow Japanese wrestler by attacking Rick Rude.
Entrant no.18: Pat Patterson
Never officially an entrant in the rumble before Patterson returns to the match and almost immediately gets involved in an elimination as Waldo rather stupidly after hitting his Blitzkrieg Dive from the top rope on Mutoh climbs up to the top turnbuckle again to try the move once more, something obviously not advisable in a Rumble style match. Patterson sees him ascending the turnbuckles as he enters the ring and hits him with a big uppercuts sending off the top. As he falls however he reaches out and grabs hold of Morishima who Rick Rude is trying to force over the top rope. In his desperation to stay in the match he actually aids in eliminating Morishima who as a result is also sent tumbling over the top rope to the outside.
Eliminated: Waldo Von Erich & Takeshi Morishima
Entrant no.19: Killer Kowalski
Kowalski's no doubt wants to make an impact here in his first match back on the official BWA roster. The company had refused to allow him to compete when they and a trainer role and what better a chance will he have to show them just how wrong they were than now given the number he has drawn here
Entrant no.20:.... Daniel Bryan!!!
OMG It's Daniel Bryan! there is a momentary shocked silence before the arena errupts and the crowd go crazy. Even the people in the ring stop what they are doing and watch as Bryan makes his way out from behind the curtain. Kowalski actually takes advantage of this and as we see in a replay while everyone was distracted he hit his signature dropkick on Patterson to knock him out of the ring.
Eliminated: Pat Patterson
Finals four: Rick Rude, Killer Kowalski, Keiji Mutoh & Daniel Bryan
For a brief moment Kowalski and Rude actually team up to take on Mutoh and Bryan and they look on top until in unison the faces reverse their attacks with Enziguris dropping them to their knees at which point Mutoh and Bryan exchange a glance and the in sync attacks continue with Bryan hitting a running knee to Kowalski and Mutoh a Shinng wizard to Rude. Both men are sent stumbling into different ring corners and clearly look the worse for wear. At this point Mutoh & Bryan team up to try to eliminate their opponents first starting with Kowalski.
Heenan is going off on one on the outside saying that people would be incensed if the other two were working together like this but moments later he is silenced after an unexpected series of events put his man back in the ascension. Firstly as Mutoh tries to grab Kowalski, Killer hits him with a low blow but much to the crowds amusement this just causes him to bend over in pain and spit Green mist into Kowalskis face. Bryan uses this opportunity to quickly toss his blinded opponent over the top rope and eliminate him.
Eliminated: Killer Kowalski
Rude however is back in action quicker than anyone expected and when Bryan turns around he is there to immediately catch him and toss him over the top rope also. He then immediately grabs Mutoh and goes to toss him over the ropes on the opposite side of the ring. In fact he does this so fast he fails to spot Bryan hang onto the top rope and just about stop his feet from touching the floor outside. Similarly the Ravishing one gets his Japanese opponent over the top rope on the other side but is struggling to get him off the apron while Bryan skins the cat. Mutoh does everything to fight off Rude and stay in the game and after catching him with a gut punch seizes his opportunity to grab him and attempt to suplex him from inside to out. He gets him up and into the air but Rude starts to wriggle trying to make him release the hold. Moments later and it's all for naught though as Bryan who is back in the ring charges across and performs a suicide dive through the middle ropes into Mutoh who takes Rude out with him as all three men are sent crashing to the mat outside the ring.
Eliminated: Keiji Mutoh & Rick Rude
There is a moment of confusion among the BWA officials but the crowd seem to know what has happened and that Bryan going through the middle rope means he wasn't eliminated so he slides back into the ring and joins them (the fans) in their YES! chant. Daniel Bryan is headed to Wrestlepalooza!
Winner: Daniel Bryan0 -

Welcome to BWA Raw!
Live from The Coliseum, Toronto, Onatario Canada
The Pyro goes off and the show begins with Rick Rude making his way out to the ring. He is introduced by Bobby Heenan who then returns to the announce table as his client cuts a promo about what happened at the Royal Rumble"Last night at the Royal Rumble I lasted longer than any other man, but that's nothing new right ladies?
I lasted 10 times as long as the cheap, broken down man you all adore otherwise known as Daniel Bryan and yet what is my reward? am I going to Wrestlepalooza to fight the champ? did I even get the respect I deserve from the crowd?
No I got boo'd. Me! What have I ever done to deserve their (the crowds) continued boos? I was in that match for nearly3/4 of an hour before that walking concussion even entered the match! What I really deserve is to be no.1 contender for Brock Lesnars title, but is that going to happen? No and Why, because the Royal Rumble is an out of date, antiquated concept and if the BWA have any sense they will re-evaluate it and give me the damn Wrestlepalooza main event I earned last night!
Just then the Intro of the Canadian Anthem plays "Oh Canada, our home and native land..." before morphing into the new intro music of Killer Kowalski and The Von Erichs who despite their heelish antics of recent times get a great reaction from the Canadian crowd.
Kowalski actually agrees with him and talks about the disgrace that Rude, one of the greatest ever actually got bood since his arrival in the BWA. He blames the narrow minded American audiences and says that tonight in front of a proper crowd they will show everyone what quality is.
Despite the American crack Rude has no problem teaming up with with Kowalski and their opponents for tonights match El Santo & Gory Guerrero make their way out to a mixed reaction.
Monsoon (who is bruised and bandaged after his Rumble match): Listen to that crowd reaction tonight, it truely shows why they call this place Bizzaro land and is one of the things that makes this sport great
Heenan: No I'm one of the things that makes this sport great! and They don't call it Bizzaro land they call it Canada hence they cheer canadians
Monsoon: Will you stop! Fritz isn't even canadian
Heenan: No Monsoon, will you stop! Rude made some good points and alongside Kowalski and The Von Erich's he's kicking off Raw here in Toronto with three of Canadas best and weve a front row seat!
Monsoon: You Will find any reason to disagree with me won't you?
Heenan: Don't flatter yourself Monsoon, I'm just being right. you don't think this "Brain" thing is just a gimmick do ya?
Rick Rude & Killer Kowalski vs El Santo & Gory Guerrero
This is an even enough match up but having both Von Erich's on the outside is obviously wearing on the Mexican team who keep falling prey to outside interference. That is until El Generico comes charging down to even things up and begins to brawl with them on the outside. He may have kept The Von Erichs from getting involved in the match but he himself is now outnumbered and after a few minutes of 2 on 1 on the outside he turns out to actually be a liability to the other Luchadores. Just as El Santo is bouncing himself off the ring ropes so as to attack Rick Rude Fritz Von Erich tosses him (El Generico) against the ring ropes on the outside and into El Santo who he sends stumbling straight into Rude who is waiting for him and delivers his Rude Awakening neckbreaker after which 1, 2, 3! and we have our winners
Winners: Rick Rude & Killer Kowalski
El Santo clearly seems unhappy with El Generico's involvement in the match but Guerrero clams him down, he obviously meant well. We then cut to backstage where Aja Kong is seen to have been watching the match on a tv screen. Josh Matthews asked her about her continued interest in Gory Guerrero after their interaction at the rumble but she ignores him and walks off.
We are treated to a recap of what happened last night at the BWA Royal Rumble and when we return to Raw, Bounty Hunter announces with the aid of a graphic that tonight's main event will be a rematch of the World Title match at the Rumble between Brock Lesnar and Gorilla Monsoon! He also announces there will be an IC title match but it's clear which announcement resonates more with the announce team.
Heenan: Have you lost your mind Monsoon!
Monsoon: I know I can beat him Brain, you won't believe me I know but Lesnar is my white whale
Heenan: Listen here captain A-Hab I've always said If you're poor and you do something stupid, you're nuts. If you're rich and do something stupid, you're eccentric and Gorilla your not a rich man. Brock is going to kill you
At this point Monsoon removes his headset and heads to the back and after a few minutes Bounty Hunter replaces him on commentary.
Keiji Mutoh vs Sami Zayn
As this match begins Heenan makes some quip about how it hasn't been long since we have seen Zayn out here but Bounty Hunter plays it off like he has no idea what he is on about despite Zayn seeming to already be a bit banged up before the match even takes place. Its a very good match but the announcers do speculate that perhaps Sami not being at 100% has played into the outcome as Mutoh eventually picks up the win with his inverted Indian deathlock facelock or "Muta lock".
winner:Keiji Mutoh
after the match the two fan favorites shake hands in a show of respect.
Backstage we see Gorilla Monsoon warming up for his main event title rematch tonight, with him are the Brisco brothers who are trying to psych up their friend meanwhile Monsoon tells them to focus on their own match tonight saying that a win could see them back in the tag title hunt.
We then head back to the ring for what has been described as "The Daniel Bryan Royal Rumble celebration"
Daniel Bryan thanks the fans for their support and says that this is all for them. This being what he describes as his quest against both Brock & The Heenan Family. He talks about how both are a blight on the BWA and highlights their actions the past few weeks. Their attack on him, screwing Punk, stealing the world title etc
He states that he is going to wrestlepalooza to not only take the WHC back (he's a former BWA world champion) but also to take apart Heenans band of miscreants. To do so however he says he needs backup so he introduces what he calls the future of tag team wrestling, a team he has been watching in BWA developmental for a long time and the next tag team champions... American Alpha, Jason Jordan and Chad Gable. Bryan states however that even with those great athletes by his side Heenan has a numbers advantage and that's why he contacted a friend of his to even things up, a man he has had many battles against in the past but is now ready to go to war with...Takeshi morishima
The fans are clearly enjoying these introductions almost too much so it's no surprise that Bobby Heenan has to interrupt things. The fact that he is then joined by the rest of the Heenan Family Rick Rude, Arn Anderson & Tully Blanchard ensures things really get interesting. The atmosphere is electric as Heenan's four (inc himself) go face to face with Bryan's boys in the center of the ring.
Eventually Heenan gets his group to back down saying that Bryan is lucky that Brock isn't there yet and says he knows for a fact that Bryan isn't even medically cleared to wrestle yet, that his Royal Rumble win shouldn't even count (something Rick Rude clearly agrees with) and says that if Bryan wants to see what awaits him at Wrestlepalooza he should come out and watch tonight's main event in person... he then turns his attention to American Alpha. He runs down Jordan & Gable saying they don't even deserve to be in the same arena as The Brainbusters, let alone the same ring for a title match and says that that will be proved true right now as they have their very first ever BWA Raw match.
With that The Brisco Brothers make their way out to the ring and enter it while Heenan exits back to the announce table with his crew beside him while Bryan & Morishima also stay at ringside (the opposite side of the ring) to watch the match
American Alpha vs The Brisco Brothers
A rarity in todays pro wrestling world this is a wrestling display of the highest order with with NCAA Wrestling National Champion Jack Brisco and Olympic trial champion Chad Gable in particular putting on a pure wrestling classic. In particular Gables Chaos Theory (Waist-lock backward roll transitioned German suplex) pops the crowd big. Similarly Jordan gets a great reaction when he hits an Olympic Slam Jordan Slam. Despite this the more experienced Brisco brothers look like they will take the win when a figure four is locked in on Jordan. Heenan on commentary is raging when Jordan is eventually able to get to the ropes and even more so after he tags in Gable and Brisco is hit with their Grand Amplitude finsiher, a belly-to-back pop-up by Jordan which is bridged into a high-angle belly-to-back suplex by Gable for the win.
Winners: American Alpha
Bryan and Morishima celebrate with them while Heenan sends his cohorts back to the lockeroom but remains defiant on commentary saying that 1 win does not make them no.1 contenders.
We then have a promo package for Wrestlepalooza VI after which it is announced that the PPV has already sold out and that it will be a new attendance record for Michigan stadium aka "The Big House" of 121,018! besting the previous record (for a football game vs Notre Dame) by almost 6,000!Next up we have The Bella twins come out to the ring and cut a promo about Kharma who made her debut in last nights BWA Royal Rumble. Before they do we are treated to this recap of the last time they were all in the ring together:
They say that they have matured since then and that they are happy that Kharma has returned so that they can make amends. Nikki suggests she would love to fight her for the womens title but based off the Royal Rumble they assume she plans to compete against the male wrestlers so they just hope she will accept their sincere apologise (they don't look at all sincere)... the Kharma's entrance theme hits and the Bella's sh!t their pants, look everywhere worried she will surprise attack them but instead a countdown clock appears on the titantron, the "countdown to Kharma" and the announcers note that the countdown ends at Wrestlepalooza VI.
Heenan: I guess thats the date the rodeo's in town again
Bounty Hunter: c'mon Brain.... you don't think She is watching and will recognize your talking about her
Heenan: Were fine, the only thing her kind recognize is a buffet
Backstage we see Rick Rude approach Killer Kowalski, he talks about how it was a pleasure working with him in tonight's opening match and says that the family hope this working relationship can continue. As he says this he passes Kowalski what looks like a brown envelope.
We then head back to ringside where Bounty Hunter once again questions Brain but this time over what we have just seen but Heenan plays dumb and says its just a sign of what a great guy Rude is, fostering good relations backstage.
Takeshi Morishima vs Barry Horrowitz
Morishima makes his debut against the man who desperately wants to join the Heenan's Family but despite Brain shouting him encouragement from the announce table it doesen't look like he will get the win he needs to secure his place tonight. Instead he is literally being tossed around the ring by Morishima who seems to want to make a statement on his first night here. Suplexes, a big spinning side slam and a backbreaker give him total control before he puts the exclamation point on proceeding amd gets the win with his giant Lariat!
Winner:Morishima
After the match Heenan starts berating Horowitz who looks in great pain as he makes his way to the back. Much to Heenan's surprise though Barry snaps back at him to drop it. Moments later however the attention is drawn back to the ring where out of nowhere Killer Kowalski & The Von Erichs rush the ring and attack Morishima. They disappear back into the crowd before security (followed closely by Daniel Bryan) get out to break up the beatdown. Bryan then helps his friend to the back.Backstage we see Gorgeous George with Nikki Bella, she is clearly spooked about Kharma so George tells her to stick with him as the two are then approached by Josh Matthews who questions why he has finally agreed to give Pat Patterson a rematch for the Intercontinental title here tonight. His response in the least sincere way possible was simply that he wanted to put this whole sorry business behind him and denies the rumors he has heard that the BWA board forced his hand by making tonight's match up. The two then make their way out to the ring.
Gorgeous George w/Nikki Bella vs Pat Patterson
Patterson comes out to a great ovation from the Canadian crowd
Pat also starts like a house on fire and really tears into the champ but it isn't long until the dirty tactics come to the fore and the honorably Patterson (who throughout the whole thing stays within the rules much to his own fault) begins to struggle with George raking his eyes to get an advantage and then running it home with a low blow while the refs back is turned. The reason his back is turned and why the ref continues to be distracted is due to Nikki at ringside. The BWA womens champ uses her womenly ways to keep the refs attention long enough that he doesn't notice as she slides him a pair of brass knuckles and WHACK! Patterson looks like he has been knocked out clean and it's no surprise that his chance at revenge goes with it as Gorgeous George pins him.
Winner: Gorgeous Georgelike she wouldn't distract you
After the match while Gorgeous George and Nikki make their way up the ramp celebrating as they go an enraged Patterson grabs a Mic and addresses his foePatterson: You god damn piece of ****!.... Are you such a coward that you can't face me like a man? Such an excuse for a champion that you gotta hide behind cheap tactics and an even cheaper piece of skirt! You don't deserve to wear that belt, the only thing you deserve is a mother fuc**ing beat down!
Georgeous George goes to walk away
Patterson: don't you walk away from me! you know I won't leave you be, you know that everywhere you go, everywhere you look I will be there waiting for you! you will never be free of me... unless... If you want to be free from me then it's time for you to show some god damn balls! Wrestlepalooza one year to the date of the last time you screwed me, hows about we have one last match and this time there will be no cheating for you because it'll be a no holds barred, no DQ, no rules...a street fight!
George: Why would I agree to such a match, what do I have to gain from it?
Patterson: If you beat me in that match I will... leave the BWA forever!
Gorgeous George looks intrigued by this offer but heads to the back without answering the question
Just then we are treated to a timely recap of everything that happened at last years Wrestlepalooza V PPV including the battle between Patterson & Gorgeous George. (Part 1 & Part 2)Backstage we see Daniel Bryan ask Jason Jordan & Chad Gable to help Takeshi Morishima get to the nearest medical facility to make sure he is 100% after the attack he suffered tonight. Morishima apologizes to Bryan saying he may not be any help to him in his fight vs the Heenan family now but not because of his potential injuries (as Gable wonders) but because he now has his own quest for revenge and vows that Kowalski and co will pay for their attack on him
We then head back to ringside were another Japanese wrestler is prepping for action but this time it's Aja Kong making her in ring debut.
Aja Kong vs Lucy Lake
As the match began the announcers were really bigging up Ms Lake and how this was the female indie talents opportunity to win a contract here in the BWA but after the beating she took in this match I doubt she will ever be seen in the fed ever again and will be remembered as nothing more than a jobber. Kong won with her Brainbuster finisher, but the bout was decided well before she hit that.
Winner: Aja Kong
Many would argue however that the story of the match was that Gory Guerrero came out to watch this match from ringside and cheered Aja on throughout. Much to Heenans amazement on commentary it would seem that despite what happened at the Rumble Gory hasn't given up his quest just yet.**commercial break**
When we return It's almost time for our main event but just before it Daniel Bryan's music hits and out comes The Rumble winner yessing down the ramp as Bounty Hunter informs us he will be joining them on commentary for the main event.
Heenan: (about Bryan's theme) That's my second favorite song.
Bounty Hunter: I'm almost afraid to ask...what's your favorite?
Heenan: All the rest are tied.
Main Event: Royal Rumble Rematch - Brock Lesnar vs Gorilla Monsoon
This match follows a similar pattern as the match from the previous night and if anything Monsoon is actually doing a little better. That said it's after a series of German suplexes that things change as Brock tries to hit a shoulder thrust into the corner but Monsoon rolls to the outside causing Brock to crash head first into the turnbuckle. This results in a cut opening up on his forehead and when blood trickles down his face and Brock realizes what it is whilst wiping it off his face he just snaps!
He climbs to the outside and tackles Monsoon straight through the barricade where he had been catching his breath and into the timekeepers area. He then starts tearing up the protective mats around the announce table and exposing the hard concrete below all the time shouting at Bryan "Watch this!" "Your next"
Brock then drags Monsoon over to the exposed concrete and looks to be preparing to powerbomb him onto it. When Bryan get up to his feet shouting back and drawing The Beasts attention.
Heenan: Sit down you dummy, he's sending you a message, pay attention or he will do it to you!
Bryan ignores Heenan beside him and the staredown continues until Heenan grabs Bryan's arm and then in one swift motion pulls out a pair of handcuffs and cuffs Bryan's hand to the announce table.
Brock laughs maniacally although these antics have given Monsoon a chance to try and wriggle free from his grip but Brock takes his head off with a huge clothesline before suplexing him on what Heenan says is the exposed concrete (mostly another floor mat though). Brock doesn't miss a beat hoisting Monsoon back up to his feet and lifting him up onto his shoulders and boom! F5 onto the Spanish announce table... but somehow the table does not break.
In the ring the ref officially calls for the bell ending the match but nobody seems to care. Daniel Bryan is still frantically trying to free himself but seemingly to no avail as the Beast once again picks Monsoon up and lifts him onto his shoulders again. He looks at Bryan and very clearly mouths "I will murder you" before delivering another F5 onto the announce table which this time crumbles under the weight of the impact.
We are then treated to a face to face between Bryan & Brock as medical personal rush to help Monsoon. You can see that with every fiber in Bryan's being he is desperate to break free of his restraints but cannot get any close to Brock who laughs in his face. However much to the crowds approval (and cheers) Bryan slaps the smirk right off Brocks face with his one free hand. After momentarily playing up how shocked he was at this Brock fires back with a number of big rights knock Bryan to the floor but with his arm held up, still attached to the table by the cuffs.
Brock then lets out his animalistic style war-cry before shoving the announce table over burying Bryan underneath it.
Now that Monsoon has been helped away from ringside BWA officials return to ringside alongside some extra security whom alongside Bobby Heenan help calm the beast somewhat as Brock slowly backs up the ramp way raising his hands like he just had a huge victory as the show comes to an end.

Welcome to BWA Raw!
Live from the Madison Square Garden
The company returns stateside this week and to the garden with the fans going wild as the pyros hit and Raw goes live. To kick off the show it seems we will have an announcement from the BWA bigwigs as former BWA Chairman now announcer and spokesperson for the board of management Bounty Hunter is in the ring with a microphone in hand."The board have considered what Rick Rude had to say last week... and they do see some sense in his words. (there are some quiet boos here but the crowd generally want to hear where he is going with this)
It is true that he had already been in the ring more than three quarters of an hour when Daniel Bryan entered the match. That he eliminated more wrestlers than anyone else from the Royal Rumble and that perhaps the Rumble match is an antiquated idea as it could be argued that it isn't fair that someone who enters the rumble at no.20 and is only in the ring for 5 minutes is in the Wrestlepalooza VI main event ahead of the person who battled all the way from the start to the end.
However Rick wasn't the only person in the rumble from the beginning to the end and for that reason the BWA board have decided that at Wrestlepalooza there will be a number one contenders match between Rude and the man who entered the rumble at no.2...The Great Muta! (this gets a great cheer from the crowd)
but thats not all th..." Bounty Hunter is interrupted by Bobby "The Brain" Heenan who is flanked by Arn Anderson & Tully Blanchard
Heenan: *clap clap clap* The board really are determined to push ahead with Daniel Bryan in the main event aren't they? ...either way you've taken up enough of the show already, time to vacate the ring, we have some serious business to deal with. You can take Monsoons place if you want I've a feeling he won't be able to make it tonight after the beating Brock gave him.
Now there is one person in this arena who can do the right thing and who does actually have the power to end this nonsense. One person who knows that Daniel Bryan in his condition should not be stepping into a ring let alone doing so to face the beast incarnate Brock Lesnar.... Brie Bella come out here....... If you care about your husbands well being at all, you will come out here.
After a few more moments Brie Bella reluctantly makes her way out. We are told her husband has not yet arrived at the arena so her reluctance is understandable but when she is two thirds of the way down the ramp and almost at ringside that reluctance changes to straight out fear as Brock Lesnar's music hits and The Beast emerges behind her. Heenan calms her down and gets her to enter the ring saying they only want to talk.
Heenan: Brie, we are not bad guys. We don't mean you or your husband any harm but your husband will bring harm to himself if he steps in the ring with my boy Brock.
Lesnar: (gets right up and personal in front of Brie) I am a bad guy... and if Bryan steps in the ring with me, I will hurt him... you see, this isn't going to be a wrestling match... This is going to be an execution.
Heenan: cmon Brock don't scare the lady, after all our words can't convince her more than this (he throws up hir arm signalling something and Barry Horowitz comes down to the ring, at the same time The Brainbusters escourt Brie to the announce table where Heenan sits beside her and calls the following match)
Brock Lesnar vs Barry Horowitz
Brock tosses Horowitz around like a rag doll and with every suplex he hits Heenan on commentary reminds Brie that that could be her husband. Every time Brock drops him on his head she winces as Heenan rams the point home. Eventually after running through most of his big power moves including numerous suplexes Brock lifts Barry up onto his shoulders and with an F5 ends the contest, not that it every truly was a contest in the first place.
Winner: who do you think
We go backstage and see the arrival of American Alpha Jason Jordan & Chad Gable who are immediately approached by Shawn Mooney and asked if they had seen their buddy Daniel Bryan. They say that as far as they know Bryan is with the BWA docs getting cleared for his match with Brock but that tonight isn't about Daniel Bryan, it's about them. They explain that the BWA board were very impressed with their victory against the Briscos last week but that Bobby Heenan convinced them they were not ready and that we would have to beat another big name team tonight. Jason says they don't care who it is, hell he says Heenan can even pick the team because they are ready willing and (Chad chimes in) Gable!
El Santo/Sami Zayn vs The Von Erichs w/Killer Kowalski
Sami Zayn starts strong in this one and despite Kowalski's distractions on the outside El Santo continues this trend when he gets tagged in. It is not until Fritz von Erich loosens his opponents mask while grappling with him that the momentum begins to shift. Focussing as much on trying to conceal his identity than winning the match El Santo begins to take quite a pounding from The Von Erichs who tag in and out regularily. El Santo needs the tag and just about gets to his corner but just as he does Kowalski on the outside grabs Zayns foot and pulls him down out of their corner and cuases him to crack his head off the ring apron as he does. The referee is distracted by this admonishing Kowalski and showing concern for Sami and misses the fact that Zayns team mate has been dragged back to the Von Erich's corner and is now at the mercy of a double Iron Claw. As soon as the ref turns around Waldo drops his involvement but El Santo also drops but in his case it's to the mat where Fritz pins him 1,2,3!
winners: The Von Erichs
The crowd boo the result at the top of their lungs, maybe they were popular in Canada last week but back in the US Kowalski & The Von Erichs are not popular figures in the slightest and this does not change as they grab a mic and address the audience.
Kowalski: That is something you will all have to get used to hearing...The winners...The Von Erich's (laughs heartily to himself as the boos intensify) and why do you boo now? We just defeated a Mexican and a Canadian or are you too stupid to realize that your beloved Sami Zayn is actually from the great nation of Canada. You see you all need to realize that... (he is interrupted by the entrance music for The Brisco Brothers which the crowd pop big for, although you could argue they would have popped for anyone interrupting Kowalski)
Jack: Will you please shut the hell up! Actually I know you won't be quietened that easily, we have to silence you in the ring, don't we?
Gerry: Thats right bro and we know the perfect place to do it (they both stop and look up at the big Wrestlepalooza 6 sign hanging high in the arena)
Jack: correct again Gerry, you see Poles, Canadians, Nazi's or American turncoats it doesn't matter because Wrestlepalooza will be in the good old US of A (Crowd cheer) this year and according to the board all we need is a partner and in "The Big House" (Michigan Stadium) we will teach you what happens when you mess with The Briscos and what happens when you mess with America!A Simpsons themed commercial for Wrestlepalooza VI airs
As we return we are brought backstage where Jack Korpela is interviewing The BrainbustersKorpela: Arn, Tully, I have to ask you how you feel about the prospect of fighting American Alpha, Jason Jordan & Chad Gable and how it could potentially be for your tag titles if they can get a win here tonight and convince the board they deserve the opportunity ?
Tully: You mean Daniel Bryan's little gang of greenhorns?
Arn: They are nobodies and be it today, at Wrestlepalooza or someday down the road when we face them we will show them that. You see we were part of the original gang and we were the most vicious in all of professional wrestling, if someone sent one of ours to the hospital we would send one of theirs to the morgue so if those boys don't wanna become an injured mess like their mate Daniel they better rethink coming after whats ours!
Tully: Actually speaking of which there is a tag team down in that developmental territory called BCW i've heard are going under the Horseman name.
Arn: I've heard enough and right now I'm talking to you (stares right down the camera)... You think you deserve the Horseman name, then prove it! come to Wrestlepalooza and fight us for it... that is if you have the guts!
We then return to ringside for our next match up but before it begins Bobby Heenan elaborates on what The Brainbusters just said stating that they will face both defend their tag titles against whoever the BWE board deem good enough and then defeat the wanabee Horsemen should they have the balls to show up... because they are that damn good.
Morishima w/Giant Baba & Jumbo Tsuruta vs Pat PattersonBefore the following match Morishima says that he heard what The Briscos had to say a little earlier tonight but points out that they weren't the only ones Kowalski and The Von Erich's crossed and that they also weren't the only ones who spoke to the board about potentially getting their revenge on them at the next PPV. However the one difference between him and The Briscos he says is he already has a 3 man team ready to face his attackers and he then introduces to the audience his two compatriots who accompanied him to the ring talking about how both men are looked up to like a Bret Hart or Hulk Hogan in Japan and how after Wrestlepalooza America will know why
Patterson does his best to hang with his bigger opponent although the announcers do point out that despite them not getting involved Patterson is also clearly distracted by the 2 men at ringside. Perhaps due to this Morishima gains an upper hand in the bout and looks to be in control until an atomic drop steals the momentum for "Pretty boy" Patterson who then heads up top for his diving knee drop only for the image of Gorgeous Geroge suddenly appearing on the titantron to completely take him off his game and allow "The Japanese Monster" to get to his feet ascend the turnbuckles and after a clubbing blow to the distracted Patterson deliver a superplex to him back into the middle of the ring. When Patterson then slowly gets to his feet he is caught by a huge Lariat which secures the 3 count victory for Morishima
winner: Takeshi Morishima
Gorgeous George laughs at Patterson and highlights how these past 2 years in the BWA he has truly enjoyed seeing Patterson being tormented and says that after Wrestlepalooza it will be a pity that he won't get to see that anymore as Patterson's BWA career will be over because...he accepts Pats offer of a Wrestlepalooza rematch where patterson's BWA career is on the line.
We then head backstage where Todd Grisham interviews the Bella twins about Kharma and how he has just learned that their Wrestlepalooza match against her will be for Nikki's BWA Womens titleTodd: The countdown to Kharma has begun and I have to ask are you ladies worried about the prospect of having to face Kharma at Wrestlepalooza?
Nikki: Worried, ha! my sister here faced down Brock Lesnar tonight, Kharma does not scare us! ... and we are not the same women we were when we last stepped in the same ring with her.
Brie: Daniel Bryan, John Cena and now Gorgeous George have taught us more than she could ever know. plus as the old saying goes two heads are better than one.
Nikki: So that fat B.. (Brie grabs her shoulder)...what! it's another old saying that everyone knows... Kharma is a b!tch... and this B!tch better think twice if she thinks she is going to take my title at the show of all shows.
We return back to ringside as the tag team champs make their way out for a non title match
El Generico/Gory Guerrero vs Arn Anderson & Tully Blanchard
El Generico is struggling in this match from the off and just like Sami Zayn (who already fought earlier tonight) when he face Keiji Mutoh last week looks at less than 100% before this match even gets under way and against a team as efficient as The Brainbusters that's a recipe for disaster. Gory can see he is struggling and wants him to tag out immediately but El Generico refuses and fights on. Guerrero's usual partner El Santo now comes charging down to the ring and also starts screaming at El Generico to tag out. This only serves as a distraction though and Tully rolls him up for a 3 count pin while he is focused on his fellow luchadore.
winners: The Brainbusters
The victors head to the back after a big old pat on the back from Heenan who can be heard telling them they can take the rest of the night off (he later says on commentary that he won't need them again as literally nobody could defeat the tag team he has lined up for tonight's man event). Everyone's attention however is on the ring as El Santo grabs a mic and cuts a promo on the man in the ring whom he refers to as Sami not El Generico.El Santo: Sami, this has to stop.... Your a good guy but this El Generico nonsense needs to end. You got us (slaps Gory on the back) eliminated from the Rumble, you cost us our match last week, me my match tonight and now this... your not a luchadore, your not a Mexican and your not helping yourself or anyone else and at Wrestlepalooza I'm putting an end to it!
El Generico looks like he has been completely blindsided by everything that had just happened as The Mexicans head to the back.
Bounty Hunter: I just got the news, thats an official match at Wrestlepalooza El Santo vs El Generico and it will be mask vs mask!
Heenan: Great finally I get to see whats wrong with their faces that they have to cover em up
Bounty Hunter: You know what Monsoon would say if he was here right now (will you stop!)
Heenan: You mean owww my bones hurt cos Brock Lesnar made me his...
Bounty Hunter: Brain!
Heenan: huh o right, the fans don't wanna hear from us right now not when they could hear from this man.
and with Heenan jumps up and introduces Rick RudeRude: What I'd like to have right now is for all you fat, out of shape, New York sweathogs to keep the noise down while I take my robe off and show all the ladies what a real man is supposed to look like... (booo)... You hear those boos Bobby, I've worked it out...The ladies are booing the fact that I stop my strip show right there but im sorry ladies I don't wanna put all your men to shame. Speaking of people less endowed than myself, what about The Great Muta, when I get done with you your ...(looks down at his crotch and gestures).. envy will only be surpassed by your main event envy because trust me no Jap Bukakke Warrior is going to stop me setting up the greatest main event of all time when I go one on one with Brock Lesnar.
Bounty Hunter: Oh my Gawd, did he just say that!
Heenan: Don't take everything so seriously, you don't see me calling out Monsoon for all his Pearl Harbor quips
Rude: You see, I was the first man to be in both DX and the NWO, the first man to appear on WWF, WCW & ECW TV In Same Week and I will be the first man to defeat both Muta and...
suddenly the lights go out, a weird blue mist starts to rise and eerie music begins to play,
slowly a figure emerges onto the stage as the music kicks into gear...it's Keiji Mutoh!
He is dressed slightly differently to usual with a long emperor style robe on
Muta:Rude, you just made a mistake... you see Keiji Mutoh, the guy who is unbeaten since he arrived in the BWA, the guy you couldn't eliminate at the Royal Rumble...he is nothing, he is a punk b!tch and you won't be facing him at Wrestlepalooza! (suddenly a mask attached to a chain drops down out of his robes big sleeve)... You will be facing... The Great Muta!
as he says this he lifts the mask which looks as if its made from bone and sinew up and places it atop his face while making a demented grin. Suddenly the lights dim again as the music returns along with the unsettling the blue smoke. Muta doesn't seem to move and inch but suddenly amongst the smoke he seems to have disappeared.
When we return from our final commercial of the night, Rick Rude (who Heenan says won't be affected by Muta's obvious attempt at getting in his head with the mind games we just witnessed) is joined by his tag partner for the night as he takes on American Alpha and much to the crowds shock, it's a man pulling double duty after his Raw opening bout with Barry Horowitz....Brock Lesnar!
Jason Jordan & Chad Gable vs Brock Lesnar & Rick Rude
Brock is on the apron for the first half of this match and its clear anticipation is building to when he gets tagged in. His partner Rick Rude is actually in control in ring until Jason Jordan counters with an enziguri and is able to get to his corner to tag in Chad Gable. At the same time however Rude tags in Brock and the crowd rise to their feet. Brock springs into the ring with a big grin on his face and locks up with Gable but much to his surprise it's the smaller man who rolls around to behind Lesnar from where he performs a Belly to back suplex on the champ. Brock leaps back up to his feet almost immediately and looks both shocked and enraged as the crowd show their appreciation. Lesnar grabs Gable around the waist and tries to drive him into the corner turnbuckle but once again the tag team specialist is able to evade the attack and actually catches Brock in a waistlock which he rolls backwards into Judo throw. The crowd begin to chant "Gable, Gable, Gable" as a once again bewildered and angered Lesnar get back up and comes at him, what follows is an amazing display of mat based amateur style wrestling where both men exchange multiple holds and counter holds before they eventually separate. Bounty Hunter on commentary muses (as the crowd once more clap to show their appreciation) that it looks like maybe even Brock Lesnar appreciates Gables ability until Heenan at ringside clearly grabs Chad's leg and the mere moment that it took for him to shake off the Brain was enough for Brock to hit him with a clothesline so hard that Gable does almost a complete 360 spin (but does not quite land on his feet instead comes crashing down hard.)
The champ pounces on the opening and lifts his opponent up onto his shoulders and delivers an F-5! Heenan can be heard on the outside shouting "Thats why your a rookie (Rookie of the year) and he's the champ" and telling Brock to "finish him" but Lesnar shakes his head and picks Gable up once again this time tossing him over the top rope and into his tag partner knocking both men to the outside. The ref point out that Jordan actually tagged himself in before getting knocked down so Lesnar tags in Rude but he isn't ready to let what he saw as the embarrassment Gable caused him to go just yet and instead heads to the outside grabs Jordan and tosses him into the ring for Rude to immediately attack and get on top of while the champ starts ripping monitors etc out of the announce table. Bounty Hunter states he has seen this enough recently to know what Lesnar is thinking and abandons the area while Brock sets Gable up for another F-5.... but wait... what music is that.. it is of course...Daniel Bryan's ride of the Valkyries that suddenly starts playing.
Brock stops for a moment but doesn't see his Wrestlepalooza opponent anywhere.. why? cos he is coming straight through the fans whose yessing conceals his arrival and moments later he is up on top of the barricade between the fans and ringside and staring a hole in Brock Lesnar who just laughs and begins to motion as if it's f5 time for Gable when Bryan kicks into action running along the barricade and as Lesnar gets Gable up into the air spings airborne himself to deliver his Running single leg high knee finisher on the champ. Brock's move is interrupted and Gable drops to the floor instead of (which still hurts but not as bad as) going through the table. This obviously hurts Brock who looks groggy and like he doesn't know where he is outside the ring but it also serves to distract Rick Rude insider it and as he peers out over the ropes Jason Jordan catches him with an Olympic slam and goes for a pin 1, 2..kickout!
Eventually Brock with the help of Heenan gets back to his feet but once again he isn't interested in listening to Heenan (this time as he wants him to help Rude) and instead locks his eyes on his attacker Daniel Bryan who has just started to exit the same way he arrived, through the fans. Brock pushes Bobby away and leaps over the barricade catching Bryan and the two begin to brawl through the fans. Meanwhile in the ring Rick Rude has been left alone and Chad Gable has gotten back to his corner and tags in so that they can perform their Grand Amplitude double team finisher (Belly-to-back pop-up by Jordan into a bridging high-angle belly-to-back suplex by Gable) on Rude for the win.
winners: America Alpha
Eventually BWA security hold Brock back if anything for the safety of the fans between him and Bryan and the show closes with the dual images of Brock Lesnar baying for Blood as a result of what lead to the other image, that being American Alpha in ring celebrating a huge win.

Welcome to BWA Raw!
Live from The Barclays Center, Brooklyn, New York
It's the Go Home Show for Wrestlepalooza VI, Monsoon is back on commentary and after the Pyros hit and the crowd erupt we begin with a bang as the Royal Rumble winner and challenger for the main event of the biggest show of them all Wrestlepalooza VI Daniel Bryan is in the ring ready to address the fans.Bryan: (eventually Daniel Bryan chants die down and he can talk) I've been told not to come out here tonight. I've been told not to get involved with Brock Lesnar tonight, they say the big guy is p!ssed at me for embarrassing him last week, but Brock I was pissed at you! not for how you ruined my retirement, how you and your buddies screwed CM Punk out of his title and my buddies (American Alpha) out of their title shot, nor for the litany of other heinous garbage you've done but because you got my wife involved in all this. You brought it to the next level Brock, you made this personal!
I have talked about the blight that you and The Heenan Family are on the BWA, I have vowed to remove that sickness that has infested this place but what you did last week...
Bobby Heenan: (rising from the announce table) Waah Waah Waah, thats all I and anyone with any sense hears when you open your mouth. Last week when you were getting "cleared" by the BWA Doc, we were doing what that doctor couldn't do. You see even if he says you are healthy now, Your facing my client at Wrestlepalooza and you gotta think about your future health. As she watched Brock Lesnar dismantle his opponent last week Brie knew and as you stand there listening to me without saying a word I know you know Daniel... You should have retired when you had the chance, but don't worry Brock will do you a favor and do it for you at Wrestlepalooza when he ends the legend of Daniel Bryan once and for all!
suddenly Brock Lesnar's music hits and The Beast makes his way down staring a hole into Bryan in the ring as he does. He stops on the outside next to Heenan who continues.
Heenan: Bryan tonight is your last chance to see sense, to back down, to save yourself, to do the right thing (smirks) because if you don't this is the fate that awaits you, Brock conquering another hero of the people. at which point the ring announcers introduces the first match of the evening
Brock Lesnar vs El Santo
On commentary Heenan (Is joined by Monsoon who is back after missing last week injured) spends most of the match talking about how El Santo is the biggest name wrestler ever in the history of Mexican wrestling and yet Brock is absolutely man handling him.
Brock hits a belly to belly and two German suplexes before locking in his Kimura lock but El Santo is close to the ropes and can get the ref to break it up. He rolls to the outside to catch his breath but moments later is rolling back inside to get away from Brock. While outside Lesnar is distracted by Bryan and when he gets back into the ring he is caught unawares by a big dropkick which El Santo follows up by springing up onto the top turnbuckle and landing a big a diving headbutt. This is a move Bryan has been known to hit in the past and Heenan points this out while likening the two face wrestlers and urging everyone to watch how this fight back goes as Brock kicks out of a pin attempt at 1 before getting straight back up and when El Santo charged at him grabbing him and delivering another overhead belly to belly suplex. He then grabs his opponent from behind as he tries to rise and without releasing hits 4 consecutive German suplexes.
Monsoon (on commentary) who has been through this himself is calling for Brock to end this saying that the match is already over as a contest as Lesnar delivers a 5th and then a 6th before releasing. He then just watches and laughs as El Santo tries to stand up but his legs look like Jelly, unable to support himself at which point Brock just scoops him up and BANG... F5!
Winner: Brock Lesnar
After a moment basking in his victory Brock eyes El Santo again and looks like he is going to inflict more damage but Bryan grabs his leg and pulls him out of harms way, moments later and Gory Guerrero runs down to ringside also and helps Bryan bring his friend to the back. Brock meanwhile is in the ring roaring at Bryan like the beast he is next before then laughing about it all as he watches back replays of his demolition of El Santo on the titantron.
Afterwards Monsoon asks Brain about if everything is harmonious within the Heenan Family after Brock abandoned Rude in last weeks main event and also questions him about Bryans earlier comments re: American Alpha, Jason Jordan & Chad Gable when he said that he screwed them out of their title shot wondering what exactly he had meant by that. Heenan side steps the first comment saying that Rude is a professional and even if their were any issues that they can be worked out at the PPV after Wrestlepalooza when Rude having beaten The Great Muta yhis sunday will be no.1 contender to Brocks title and about the second issue Brain just smiles and points Monsoon to an interview he had done for BWA.com during the week. This interview highlighted how last week he had said that if American Alpha, whom he once again referred to as "those development talents", could defeat a team of his choosing (after having already defeated The Brisco brothers the previous week) then they could have a shot at the Brainbusters tag titles at Wrestlepalooza. That night in the main event they went up against the unbelievable team of The Ravishing One Rick Rude and The Beast Incarnate Brock Lesnar and were able to win after Daniel Bryan got involved in the decision. Heenan now however emphasizes that he never once stated that Rude and Lesnar were the team they had to beat to get their shot. The Interviewer said that surely it went without saying but Heenan denied that and said that they will face that team in tonight's main event and that in the corner of that team would be the rest of the Heenan family!
When we return to ringside we are told that we now have another very different interview and this time live as we head backstage to Joey Joe Joe Shabadu with Kharma!Kharma: The Bellas say they are not the same people they were when we last crossed paths (laughs) well I guarantee you they won't be the same people when I am done with them. I am going to not only hurt them but I will take their most cherished possession... Nikki's title, because there is one thing they got right... Kharma IS a b!tch and this B!tch is coming for revenge!
Heenan quips how he would not want to be in the Bella's position as we head back to in ring action and he likens their situation to that of The Briscoes as there might be 2 of them but they are out numbered anyway. We see a brief recap of last weeks action and the fact that The brothers wanted to face Kowalski & The Von Erichs at Wrestlepalooza but need an extra man for that to happen. Then we see Takeshi Morishima, Giant Baba & Jumbo Tsuruta who themselves were given the chance to face those three are watching this next match very intently backstage on a monitor.
Jack Brisco w/Gerry vs Killer Kowalski w/The Von Erichs
Former NWA champion Jack Brisco does his best during this bout but even with his brother by his side the numbers advantage for Kowalski comes into play with constant interference from The Von Erichs and if anything Gerry's attempts to call attention to their involvement meerly draws the refs attention to him allowing more cheating from the anti-American team.
throughout the bout Bobby Heenan on commentary uses this match as a chance to respond to Monsoon who has been getting at him over the tactics his Family tend to use by reminding him that he and Kowalski were tag partners and wondering if these were the type of tactics they used to use together. Eventually the ref does see Fritz Von Erich striking Jack Briscoe in the back of his head when he was knocked down in his opponents corner and calls for a DQ.
winner via DQ: Jack Brisco
However this simply serves to annoy Kowalski and co and a 3 on 2 beatdown ensues. Between Heenan's continuing digs and the boos from the crowd aimed at the heels Gorilla Monsoon just can't take it anymore and leaves the announce table to enter the ring and with momentum on his side completely clears the ring of the Von Erichs with a couple of huge clotheslines while both Briscoe brothers fight back against Kowalski who is then grabbed by his former partner Monsoon for his signature airplane spin maneuver where he lifts him up onto his shoulders and spins him around before dumping him down but in this case he dumps him to the outside of the ring. Monsoon then grabs a Mic and as the heels scramble up the ramp he makes it official he will be The American teams third man and the match is set for wrestlepalooza!
We then go to commercial and when we return we are shown a graphic for the match now made official for Wrestlepalooza VI: Morishima, Giant Baba & Jumbo Tsuruta vs Killer Kowalski & The Von Eirchs vs Gorilla Monsoon & The Brisco Brothers. Meanwhile we are brought backstage to another man who is discussing his Wrestlepalooza match up, this time Pat Patterson and street fight vs Gorgeous George.Patterson talks about how he isn't known as a hardcore fighter. How if anything he has a reputation as a clean fighter but after the lengths Goergous George has pushed him to and with his BWA Career on the line he vows that he will do whatever it takes to defeat his opponent in their street fight at Wrestlepalooza no matter what that means. stating that even if he has to be taken out of the arena a bloody mess on a stretcher he will take back what is his (the IC belt) and give George the just desserts he deserves.
We return to ringside and just like last 2 weeks we see a local indie talent in the ring awaiting their opponent Aja Kong only this time it is a man she is facing!
Aja Kong vs local male wrestler
Heenan refers to her as the daughter of King Kong here but she makes her male opponent look more chump than chimp as she eludes his initial attack before dismantling him with hers and after a northern lights superplex she gets the win in a quick but very impressive match.
Winner: Aja Kong
After the match we go backstage where Gory Guerrero is being interviewed by Scott StanfordStanford: You have been wooing Aja Kong for weeks now even appearing to cheer her on from ringside during her match 2 weeks ago but at the Royal Rumble Ms Kong slapped you so hard it cost you your shot at the Intercontinental title and now we have just watched her man handle a male wrestler in the ring... Don't you think it'd be wise to give up on her and instead focus more on your singles career?
Guerrero: (laughs at the question) Tony Montana once said when you get the money, you get the power and when you get the power, then you get the women but you see Senor Montana was not a wrestler cos here you get the woman first, the man who can get any woman he wants gets mucho respect backstage and with that respect comes the title shots and the money that go with it.... and homes the woman I want is Aja Kong! So im not giving up on her... cos all it takes is one night of Latino heat and that beauty will be mine!
Just then Aja Kong who has just returned from her match interrupts the interview
Aja: All night I've heard people talking about 2 things. One was about that tag team that have to earn their match at this Sundays wrestlepalooza in tonight's main event but the other... well that was when they spoke to me and they all said the same thing. They asked me about you, they said that you couldn't handle me, and maybe they are right, but you know what... I'm impressed by you! (this gets a big smile from Guerrero) most men woulda given up the chase at the Rumble, so im gonna give you a chance to just like that tag team get what you desire most and also to prove you can handle what I have to offer. If you win your match at Wrestlepalooza I will go out with you. (Kong looks to leave the area as the look on Guerrero's face changes from joy to confusion as he currently does not have a match set for the biggest show of the year....Kong stops herself from leaving momentarily though to add the bombshell)... o and your Wrestlepalooza opponent is...Me!
Guerrero doesn't know what to think but Stanford reminds him he doesn't have much time to consider it all as his match is up next
We return to ringside as the tag champions make their way out
Arn Anderson & Tully Blanchard vs Gory Guerrero & Sami Zayn
The Brainbusters look to isolate Zayn who started the match and wear him down. Meanwhile Gory looks very distracted during this match as no doubt his Wrestlepalooza match announcement (vs Aja kong) is still on his mind. This plays right into the tag champs hands as their manager Bobby Heenan has left the announce table and is at ringside but instead of as usual being by their side offering motivation he is at the opposite side of the ring getting in Guerrero's head, taunting him, saying that Kong doesnt' respect him, that she asked for the match cos she - a woman! - thinks she can humiliate him on the granddest stage of them all and what does he think he is doing now? he is out here tagging with his partner El Santo's wrestlepalooza opponent... no doubt Bobby would have kept going but at this point Gory jumped down off the ring apron and started to chase Heenan around the ring. Unfortunately for Zayn it was also at this point that he was finally able to get to his corner to tag out but of course now there was no partner for him to tag. As a result he got dragged into what was essentially a 2 on 1 beatdown although Arn and Tully took turns dishing out the punishment so as to stay on the refs good side. Despite the fans cheering him on Sami just couldn't beat both the tag champs on his own and eventually after Anderson hit a spinning spinebuster and then combined with his partner to deliver a spike piledriver Sami was done for.
Winners: The Brainbusters
Sami Zayn took quite a beating in that match just like El Generico's Wrestlepalooza opponent El Santo did earlier tonight against another Heenan Family member in Brock Lesnar, Bobby meanwhile who eventually with the help of both Brainbusters gets away from Gory Guerrero takes no credit for getting his team the win and instead just highlights the bad luck Zayn keeps having whenever he enters a BWA ring with La Pareja Atomica (The Atomic pair of El Santo & Gory Guerrero) and ponders if that might continue at the upcoming PPV.
We then head backstage where Jack Korpela is waiting to interview Rick RudeRude: Usually people are too distracted by my ravishing body to take issue with anything I say but I have been informed that last weeks I may have said some things that could be considered offensive...(is he apologizing!...nope)...but Mr Mutoh I want you to know I respect you. I mean you were a great in Japanese wrestling. You used to beat up those little fellahs like nobodys business. Hell even your cute little face paint get up used to get a reaction from people, If there wasn't a Great Muta 20 years ago there wouldn't be a knock off version calling itself a "Demon" headlining monday night Grappling at the moment. But you see this isn't 20 years ago and this isn't the minor leagues, this here is the BWA and I do not fear no little old japanese man wearing a halloween mask. At Wrestlepalooza you will be in for a Rude Awakening and the rest of the BWA will be put on notice because you are not only looking at what a real man should look like but at the next no.1 contender to the BWA world heavyweight title!
We then return to ringside where Monsoon has already begun to talk up tonights main event and question Bobby Heenan as to who will face American Alpha tonight but before Heenan can respond he is interrupted by Barry Horowitz who looks to have his mid section taped up.Horowitz: Bobby please for once in your life stop talking cos you need to hear this.... Despite everything that has gone on I still want you as my manager, I still want to be part of the Heenan Family. (Heenan tries to ask despite what) I SAID STOP TALKING! (calms down and smiles) you see Brain I'm usually a nice guy, maybe too nice, maybe thats why I havent picked up the win I needed for our deal but it's hard to be nice when YOU (points straight at Heenan) organize it that my matches are against monsters like Morishima or Brock freakin Lesnar. I mean last week you used me just to make a point to Daniel Bryan knowing that Brock was going to hurt me and hurt me he did. In fact he hurt me so bad that the BWA Doc refused to clear me to compete tonight.
Heenan: I'm sorry to hear that Barry, I know that means you won't be able to get the win you needed before Wrestlepalooza. (Horowitz looked pissed just hearing Heenan talk but as he finishes Barry actually lets out a smirk)
Horowitz: You see Brain thats where your wrong because I just spoke to the BWA board and explained my predicament and I will have another match before the PPV... on the Pre-Show to be exact and it'l be Barry Horowitz vs.... Bobby "The Brain" Heenan!
for once Heenan looks lost for words as Horowitz drops the Mic and heads to the back
American Alpha then make their way out accompanied by Daniel Bryan but before the main event begins The Brainbusters also emerge but they stand at the top of the ramp so that as Heenan says nobody will be able to unexpectedly interfere like last week. Monsoon says what everyone else is thinking and points out that Daniel Bryan is already at ringside and wonders what that weasel Monsoon has planned after Brain highlights that it's better to have Bryan where he can see him.
Jason Jordan & Chad Gable w/Daniel Bryan vs Gorgeous George & Rick Rude
And it is revealed that the men American Alpha have to defeat so that they can have their tag titles shot this Sunday are the ravishing and gorgeous ones and despite having Daniel Bryan at ringside with them it isn't all clear sailing for them as Rude in particular really gives them a tough time and impresses in the early going here hitting among other things a DDT and a Delayed backbreaker to Jordan. In fact having Bryan at ringisde does not give them a numbers advantage at all as he is too honorable a fellow to get involved in the match except at one point when he pointed out to the ref that Gables arm was able to grab the bottom rope as Gorgeous George had his spinning toe hold locked in.
Monsoon: ha, how does it feel to have someone else at ringside affecting the outcome of a match?
Heenan: don't you worry Gorilla, Bryan is exactly where I want him to be. Arn & Tully aren't actually up there to stop people getting in (to the ringside area) bt to stop Bryan from getting away.... afterall I did say all the Heenan family would be out here tonight!
Monsoon looks confused but momentarily the camera focuses on the top of the ramp way as the Brainbusters step aside and allow Brock Lesnar to emerge through the curtain! The Beast charges straight down the ramp towards Bryan who hearing the crowds reaction slowly turns around to look towards the tron but as he does had a Lesnar shoulder drive him into the ring apron!
Lesnar lets out a visceral cry as Bryan drops to the floor while in ring Gable who is distracted by this gets caught by a killer uppercut by Gorgeous George who then rolls him up in an inside cradle 1, 2...oh! Gable just kicks out at the last moment. The referee after making the count tries to get Lesnar to stop the attack on Bryan as it is obviously distracting the combatants in the match... what an idiot! Brock grabs him and throws him to the outside. In ring George tags in Rude and the beatdown continues just as it does on the outside with Lesnar stomping Bryan into the ground again and again. The camera pans around the arena and shows concerned fans and then Heenan laughing but the grin drops from Heenan's face a moment later when the lights suddenly go out and blue smoke begins to rise at the entrance ramp.
Monsoon: What's the hell! this happened last week, oh my is it...
He stops as the lights flash back on for 1 second twice before going dark again. The first time a figure can be seen at the top of the ramp striking Arn Anderson in the throat and then the second time he did the same to Tully. The lights flash back on again this time for a few moments longer a couple of seconds later and it is clear to see that this person is The Great Muta, Daniel Bryan also used this distraction and while the lights were back on he could also be seen low blowing Brock Lesnar who dropped to the mat instantly.
The lights then come back (for good this time) and Muta is standing dead center of the ring face to face (or grotesque mask in this case) with Rick Rude who looks shocked at his arrival . Even more shocking for him is how moments later Muta sprays his "Asian Mist" into his face and then as Rude is stunned Muta kick him in the gut before hitting his Nenbutsu Powerbomb (Sitout powerbomb, with theatrics) on him before exiting the ring. Gable makes the cover as Bryan helps the ref back into the ring to make the count while Jason Jordan keeps George at bay. 1, 2, 3!
Winners: American Alpha
no matter what Heenan says now they will have their tag title shot at this sundays Wrestlepalooza VI! Jordan & Gable are now joined by Bryan and in the ring. The non Heenan family member Gorgeous George wants no part of this and high tails it outta here as The Brainbusters head down to ringside and Brock finally gets to his feet and grabs a chair. For once though Heenan's boys are actually outnumbered so Bobby quickly runs over and blocks their path telling them to think smart and wait till sunday. Brock is p!ssed and starts smashing the chair off the floor but eventually they see sense and back up the ramp.
Monsoon: If you want to see these boys face off, you will have to wait until this Sunday and the show of all shows live from the Big House (Michigan Stadium) on the BWA network. See you all then!

Trade time
The BWA traded in order to get him but fans at house shows reacted very badly to Chris Benoit's presence in the promotion. He couldn't figure out why and kept asking was it something he did but either way the BWA decided it better to listen to the fans and move him on.
Benoit is heading back to his former home, Fusion Pro Wrestling but in his stead The BWA are getting a bargain with not 1 or 2 but 3 huge starsRick Rude, El Santo & Salvator "Gory" Guerrero
But I'm not done, o no! and this time in my 3rd trade of the draft (The limit is 5) We in the BWA are aquiringThe Bella Twins
To Keep Brie happy and allow her to reunite with her Hubby however I am letting a lot go the other way in the form of Steve Blackman, Jimmy & Jey
and nope thats not it either!
This time it's PTH2009's fed doing business with the BWA as they recruit a man who should fit in nicely on their roster given he once teamed with The Big Bossman to win WWF gold, like Lashley has competed in MMA and sounds almost as Irish as Sheamus, yep of course it's Ken Shamrock heading that way
while in his place the BWA have added "The Pride of Tijuana" and "The hero of Full Sail"...Sami Zaynhere he is being informed of the trade
So for those of you keeping score at home-
Bounty hunter: Brock Lesnar, Daniel Bryan, Rick Rude,Sami Zayn, El Santo & Gory Guerrero, Killer Kowalski & gorilla Monsoon, Bobby Heenan, Arn Anderson & Tully Blanchard, Jason Jordan & Chad Gable, Aja & Awesome Kong, The Bella Twins

Also I have a max of 1 trade remaining out of 50 -
.
Me! What have I ever done to deserve boos? I was in that match fornearly3/4 of an hour before that walking concussion even entered the matc!
He blames the narrow minded American audiences and says that tonight they will shut them up.
Despite the American crack Rude has no problem teaming up with with Kowalski and their opponents for tonights match El Santo & Gory Guerrero make their way out to a mixed reaction.
Monsoon: Listen to that crowd reaction tonight truely why they call this place Bizzaro land and one of the things that makes this sport great
Heenan: No I'm one of the things that makes this sport great! and They don't call it Bizzaro land they call it Canada hence they cheer canadians
Monsoon: Will you stop!
Heenan: No Monsoon, Rude made some good points and alongside Kowalski and The Von Erich's je's kicking off Raw in Toronto with three of Canadas best and weve a front row seat!
El Generico
Winner: Rick Rude & Killer Kowalski
After the match we are treated to a recap of what happened last night at the BWA Royal Rumble and when we return to BWA Raw, Bounty Hunter announces with the aid of a graphic that tonight's main event will be a rematch of the World Title match at the Rumble between Brock Lesnar and Gorilla Monsoon!
The Great Muta vs Matt Bourne vs Sami Zayn
winner - muta
Daniel Bryan celebration - promo about Brock & The Heenan Family, their attack on him, screwing Punk etc How he is going to wrestlepalooza to not only take the WHC but also to take apart Heenans band of miscreants. To do so he says he needs help so he introduces what he calls the future of tag team wrestling The American Elite.
Interrupted by The Heenan Family, Bobby Heenan mentions that Bryan is lucky Brock isn't there yet, highlights how he knows for a fact that he isn't even medically cleared to wrestle yet and runs down Jordan & Gable saying they don't even deserve to be in the same arena as The Brainbusters.
The American Elite vs The Brisco Brothers
Winners: The American Elite
The Bella twins come out to the ring and cut a promo about Kharma.
Heenan: I guess the rodeo's in town again
Bounty Hunter: c'mon Brain.... O I think they've recognized what you said, they're looking this way
Heenan: Were fine, the only thing they recognize is a buffet
Takeshi Morishima vs Barry Horrowitz
Winner:Morishima
Backstage Batman or Bruce Wayne does something
Gorgeous George w/Maria vs Pat Patterson
GG cheats, Patterson challenges him to a wrestlepalooza match, if he loses he leaves the BWA forever!
Winner: Gorgeous George
It's almost time for our main event but just before it Daniel Bryan's music hits and out comes The Rumble winner yessing down the ramp as Bounty Hunter informs us he will be joining them on commentary for the main event.

I wanted a tag team in this round but who could suit a roster that already has Brock Lesnar, Daniel Bryan, Killer Kowalski and co ?
A Team I've never had before but I've always wanted, 2 great ring technicians and well I don't think I have to describe em too much about em, if you don't know them look them up, They are what a tag team should be!Arn Anderson & Tully Blanchard
aka The Brain Busters
Tully wrestled 3 times in ECW while Arn had one solitary match in ECW
What's next for the BWA? well I'll tell you.
A team I drafted to the BWA in 2009 & 2010, a dominant take no nonsense team, one that have held numerous titles in a number of promotions and now in 2016 they are heading back home to the BWA!
should the Brainbusters and co in the tag division be worried...probably notit's...Double Kong

now for the same pics and video I used 7 years ago!
The BWA is pleased to announced it has just come to an agreement to a 1yr contract extension for current Intercontinental champion Gorgeous George who won the title at last years Wrestlepalooza V PPV. He was inducted into the Professional Wrestling Hall of Fame in 2002, the WWE Hall of Fame as part of the Class of 2010 and no doubt will be in the BWA hall of fame too soon enough and why? well check out the videos below to see just how the man who was once known as George Wagner revolutionized the business of pro wrestling.Muhammad Ali and James Brown acknowledged that their own approach to flamboyant self-promotion was influenced by George, meanwhile the BWA's Pat Patterson considered him his idol. He talked about the great pageantry of George's entrance, the resplendent capes, his bravado and showmanship among other things but as the old saying goes You should never meet your hero's they will only disappoint. In doing so George proved just what a heel he could be by not only belittled Pattersons adulation of him saying he did all that for one simple reason... to piss people off! but he also aimed homophobic slurs at Patterson who had only recently come out. Both men will be once again competing in the BWA in 2016 and after their Wrestlepalooza battle last year one would have to wonder if perhaps they might be on a collision course once more.

Welcome to BWA Wrestlepalooza!
Live from "The Big House" Michigan Field
Attendance:120,000
BWA.com / Network exclsive pre-showA short video package plays showing The previous 5 BWA Wrestlepaloozas and even the 3 BWA "big shows" (Judgement day and Wrestlemania) that proceeded them. There was a special focus given to last years draft winning entry Wrestlepalooza V before it is highlighted that despite winning the boards ratings war there was now a big target on the back of the BWA and that not only the usuals like Monday Night Grappling, WECWF or even Beyond Chaos Wrestling were gunning for that top spot but a whole host of other federations had sprung up with that sole goal in mind and that now more than ever the BWA would have to bring their A game. Now at the largest (120k crowd) American Pro wrestling event of all time, with the most stacked card in the company's nine year run the video says is when greatness will show itself as The Big One begins...
Monsoon: We welcome you to a sold out (new record attendance) Wrestlepalooza VI here at "The Big House" in Michigan. This is the Pre-Show and I am Gorilla Monsoon and here is my co-commentator Bobby "The Brain" Heenan
Heenan: Thank you for that adequate introduction Gorilla, a legend of the sport deserves no less and can you feel it, tonight is also going to be a legendary night... in fact let me get this started the right way.
Heenan gets up from commentary and heads into the ring with a Mic in hand:
Heenan: Ladies and Gentleman congratulations... not only are you part of a record breaking crowd attendance but you get to start the show listening to me Bobby Heenan. You are also lucky enough that you will get to witness one of the greatest nights in pro-wrestling history and the night when every Wrestling fan all around the world is forced to agree with everything I have been telling you about the greatness of The Heenan Family. The Tag team champions of the world, The Brainbusters Arn Anderson & Tully Blanchard will prove without a shodow of doubt that they are the greatest tag team champion of all time when they dismantle your current flash in the pan trendy tag team of the week American Alpha.... (The fans who had been enjoying Heenans shtick begin to boo).... boo all you like but the truth isn't always popular and that goes tenfold for tonight where not only will my man The Ravishing One Rick Rude become the no.1 contender but in the main event when The most destructive force in Pro Wrestling today, or at any time for that matter, Brock Lesnar will squash the ultimate underdog Daniel Bryan (the boos ring out again). However before all that in the first match of the night you lucky people are going to be given a rare treat as I Bobby "The Brain" Heenan wrestle in the match that will either see my Family grow in Size or start our winning streak for the night
Heenan lets out a big smile then as his opponent Barry Horowitz makes his way out, meanwhile Bounty Hunter replaces Heenan on commentary.A fight for representation
Bobby Heenan vs Barry HorowitzBackstory: Barry Horowitz is determined to change his career for the better but to do so he believes he needs a manager and who better than Bobby "The Brain" Heenan. Heenan believes he can turn around Barry's career but wants Horowitz to earn it. He doesn't want to manage a loser and tells him that if He is going to join the Heenan Family he has to win a match first. Not only that but he sets a deadline on when this has to be done by, Wrestlepalooza. This was actually music to Horowitz's ears but what followed wasn't with Heenan actually berating him from the announce table when he failed to defeat a foe and the following week feeding him to Brock Lesnar just to make a point to Brie Bella. In fact that beating hurt him so badly he wasn't even able to compete the following week and would have lost his chance to join the family if not for one thing... The PPV pre-show. Horowitz p!ssed at Heenan challenged him to a 1on1 match on the pre-show and considering how badly banged up he was Heenan happily obliged. Will Barry get his win and join Heenans family or will The Brain start the night out for a win on what he claims will be a night of wins for the Heenan Family?
The match starts out slow with Horowitz on the attack but as Monsoon notes on commentary Heenan is constantly able to weasel his way out of harms way. Finally a frustrated Horowitz catches Heenan with a big clothesline and then sets him up for what he refers to as his Winner-Plex, Bridging Northern Lights suplex but he does so too close to the ropes and he is forced to break the pin by the ref. The Brain then shows what Monsoon describes as "some balls" by getting straight up and getting in Barry's face and continuing to trash talk him which it seemed like he had been doing for the whole fight up to this point. This time it is clear what it is he's saying though putting his finger to his temple and stating that Horowitz doesn't fight with his mind and that "that's why he is a jobber".
It seems clear that Heenan is trying to get into his opponents head and throw him off his game here but this seems to ring true to Horowitz even though he initially lets emotion get the best of him and charges at his opponent which Heenan simply sidesteps sending Horowitz crashing into the corner turnbuckle. Brain starts striking him in the back and keeping him cornered but suddenly Horowitz's hand shoots up as he calls out for the ref and Heenan stops. We find out that Barry has told the ref that his contacts were knocked to the outside of the ring and that he can't see anything. The ref leans out over the ropes scanning the area for the contacts while Heenan dismisses this... he was right as out of nowhere Horowitz turns around and low blows Heenan then before the ref can turn around rolls him up in his Horowitz Cradle (Three-quarter nelson cradle) which eventually gets a 3 count pin from a confused looking referee.Winner:Barry Horowitz
After the match the two face off in the ring but after a few moments Heenan reaches out and embraces Horowitz before then lifting his hand up into the air and proclaiming him the newest member of the Heenan Family.booking explanation: I like the narrative of Horowitz cheating to win and Heenan being proud of this and considering it his first lesson taught. done this way and it comes across as a win win for both men especially as it also increases the size of "The Heenan Family" even if Horowitz may end up just being their whipping boy, for now at least he seems like more than just enhancement talent.
Gorilla Monsoon welcomes Heenan back to the announcers table and when he joins commentary he is actually complimentary of Horowitz and says that he just taught him his first lesson as a mentor, Rules are made to be broken! After which the two introduce the intro promo for Wrestlepalooza as the Pre-show comes to an end.The Full PPV Begins
Gorilla Monsoon Welcomes everyone to wrestlepalooza and introduces the next match with a heartfelt speech about he could no longer sit back and watch injustices being portrayed in the BWA from the announce table when he could do something about it. He briefly mentioned that he was unable to stop the rise of the Heenan family but that he wasn't about to sit idly by while a man he used to team with and more importantly call a friend was running roughshod over the BWA with the Von Erichs by his side. He said then introduced the men he said had his back when he face Brock Lesnar and who he now happily stands beside...The Brisco Brothers. Next out are the Japanese trio of Giant Baba, Jumbo Tsuruta & Takeshi Morishima who emerge after Jack Brisco says they shouldn't get in their way even if they also have beef with their opponents tonight. This almost leads to them coming to blows with the match starting early but they don't have to wait long as Killer Kowalski, Fritz and Waldo Von Erich as they have recently come charging out of the crowd and surprise attack their opponents as the bell sounds.International trios tornado tag team match
The Brisco Brothers & Gorilla Monsoon vs Killer Kowalski, Fritz & Waldo Von Erich vs Giant Baba, Jumbo Tsuruta & Takeshi MorishimaBackstory: Kowalski and The Von Erich's made their presence known by attacking numerous wrestlers over the past several weeks including on more than one occasion The Brisco Brothers. These wrestlers only had one thing in common, they were American. It was in Canada at the Royal Rumble that they announced their anti American reasons for their actions since arriving in the BWA so perhaps it shouldn't be a massive surprise that they were actually cheered by the fans but those cheers dried up when the company returned stateside. No doubt the fact that Bobby Heenan paying them off to attack a non American (Japanese) superstar making them seem like hypocrites made it an easy choice.
That Superstar was Takeshi Morishima, and he is not someone to go down without a fight and now with his compatriots Giant Baba & Jumbo Tsuruta he has the backup needed in order to get the revenge he desires from his attackers. Also in need of backup were The Briscos who were told that they would not get the Wrestlepalooza match they desired against The Von Erichs and Kowalski without a 3rd man. Cometh the day and cometh the man as Kowalski's old tag team partner Gorilla Monsoon steps up to the plate because he is sick of what he sees when he looks at his former partner. So now it's three teams of three all going head to head at the big show in "The Big House".
The Match - Despite not being full of small speedy high flyers this is what is often considered the match that a PPV should start with, a fast paced action packed bout that really gets the crowd going and with so many people involved there is both something always happening and something the refs cannot stop from happening. Little pockets of action began to form such as Morishima vs Waldo Von Erich, Jumbo Tsuruta who took particular objection to his warning earlier against Jack Brisco while his brother Gerry took on Fritz Von Erich. Meanwhile what seemed like a triple threat wrestling match was developing in ring with Kowalski, Monsoon and Giant Baba all going toe to toe.
Heenan and Bounty Hunter (who replaced Monsoon) can barely keep up with all the action but do highlight these main spots before the fight builds to it's conclusion. Jumbo Tsuruta delivered a devastating powerbomb to Gerry Brisco on the outside. As revenge Jack Brisco was later able to perform what was essentially a superplex but from off the spanish announce table instead of the top turnbuckle to Jumbo and take him out but then himself fell prone the the Von Erich's teaming up to deliver a double Iron Claw which they only release because Killer Kowalski calls for their assistance. However they were not able to escape punishment either as Takeshi Morishima wowed the crowd by taking out both men with his Scud Missile (Front missile dropkick) maneuver from the top rope as they tried to enter the ring.
This acturally plays into the finish of the match as Morishima seems to hurt his back preforming the move and when he tried to get back to his feet was struck by a Kowalski high knee that sent him crashing to the outside where he landed hard on his back. Seeing his friend thrown to the outside Giant Baba turned his attention from Monsoon to Kowalski and charged at Killer but the Polish canadian was able to barely dodge his attack at the last moment leaving the Japanese legend to be taken over the top rope by his momentum and join his compatriot by crashing to the outside where he actually landed atop Morishima and amongst all the other downed (literally everyone else was barely moving on the outside) wrestlers. Monsoon didn't just stand around and watch though and also charged at Kowalski but this time Killer didn't have time to avoid the attack. A number of big backhand chops later and Kowalski was prone for Monsoons Gorilla press slam. The crowd erupt as he hits it and are loving it as he goes for his running Gorilla Splash finisher but as he bounces off the ring ropes his foot is caught by Fritz Von Erich on the outside and he falls face first onto the mat.
When he gets back up both Von Erich's are in the ring and lock in their double Iron Claw finisher on him. It's no surprise they are the first two back in action from the pack on the outside after all they were only hit with a dropkick but what is a surprise is that Monsoon refuses to tap out considering how long they have him in the hold, long enough for Kowalski to get back to his feet and add his own Claw hold to the mix at which point Monsoon is forced to tap before he essentially passes outWinners:Killer Kowalski, Fritz & Walso Von Erich
After momentarily basking in the moment the victors notice everyone beginning to move around on the outside and decide to not stick around.Booking explanation: Most of the competitors in this match are brand new to the BWA for example all three Japanese wrestlers who have had only 1 BWA match combined and that was a 1on1 squash with Barry Horowitz. This matches fills the fast paced multi man slot you often see to get the fans going at the start of PPVs but also allows these new guys showcase their stuff and not look weak by taking a pin. Meanwhile the heel group who have been making headlines get the win against an American and perhaps the former tag partners Kowalski & Monsoon might feud now while others like The Briscoes (who had backed Monsoon up vs Brock) might go up against The Von Erichs as their Anti-America story comes back to the fore while Giant Baba & Jumbo Tsuruta could head into the tag title contention.
-Backstage segment-We go backstage to Gorgeous George's dressing room where he and Nikki Bella are being interviewed by JoJo who asks Nikki if she is fully prepared for her (and her sisters) match against Kharma tonight. George however tells JoJo that he will conduct the interview and orders her to go out and disinfectant the ring (before his match which is up next) with his "Chanel #10" as he called it saying "Why be half-safe?" George then goes on to ask a number of very leading questions. "Since you joined me here in the BWA I have given you more than my gorgeous body have I not? You have been able to learn every move in the Gorgeous George playbook yes? and you have been able to pass this knowledge on to your sister hmm? Then you have nothing to fear from that oversized behemoth now be a dear and get me my robe... I've got a bum bandits dreams to squash.
Elsewhere Sean Mooney is with Pat Paterson who keeps things simple when asked about his game plan for his street fight with Gorgeous George simply saying "I will hurt him, I will make him bleed and then I will take MY title back!" Patterson then heads out to the ring while Mooney informs us that although it will be a no DQ street fight the BWA board ordered that Nikki Bella not get involved in the match, not only do they not want to see her put in such a dangerous position but they do not want to put tonights BWA Womens title match in jeopardy.
As we return we see we now have a temporary three man announce team as Monsoon is essentially inactive recovering after his bout and Bounty Hunters services are still needed. Bounty Hunter sticks up for Monsoon saying that he was in a 3 on 1 situation at the end and that it was an unfair advantage but Heenan highlights that both of them lost in their matches and their opponents had "an unfair advantage in both cases" but that you didn't hear him complaining. Monsoon shoots him a look that says what he usually tells Heenan (Will you stop) but this time Bobby actually does stop sensing his colleague was not in the mood for his antics at this moment and instead introduces the next match, a match where he says nobody can complain about unfair advantages or people bending the rules.... because there won't be any!Intercontinental Title Street Fight (with Patterson's BWA Career on the line)
Pat Patterson vs Gorgeous GeorgeBackstory: Last year at Wrestlepalooza V in perhaps the most heated rivalry of them all the first ever Intercontinental champion Pat Patterson faced off against his former idol, the man he cited as the reason why he got into wrestling... Gorgeous George. You know what they say though, never meet your heroes, they just never live up to your imagination of them and boy did George fit that billing. He dropped all the pageantry that Patterson had grown up loving saying he only did so to annoy people and arrogantly ran down Patterson who had recently come out to the world with numerous homophobic slurs before cheating to win the Intercontinental title at the PPV. George left Patterson a broken man while he arguably gained more notoriety and hatred from the fans than he ever had before. Slowly throughout the year as George faced off against other foes he re-introduced his over the top flamboyant ways to enrage his opponents and the fans even further so it should be no surprise that when Pat Patterson finally returned to confront George the fans went crazy for him. He was instantly one of the most over men in the company and everyone wanted to see him get his revenge. Unfortunately for Pat though he was too honorable and would not stoop to George's level to defeat him but at Wrestlepalooza in a scenario where there were no rules to break things could be different but to get his opponent to agree to such a match up Pat had to make the ultimate sacrifice and put his BWA career on the line... this match could not be anymore heated or have anymore on the line for Patterson!
The Match - Patterson who is out first is kept waiting a long time for his opponent to finally emerge and make his over the top entrance which includes rose petals being layed at his feet as he walks to the ring. Pat is able to barely restrain himself until the bell rings but the moment it does he sees red and and the battle begins with Patterson cracking a number of big rights and lefts off the chin of the champ. George eventually is able to get a moment to adjust to the match when he Irish whips Patterson across the ring but as the challenger returns he nails the man known as "The Human Orchid" with a spear straight through the ropes and to the outside. The crowd are loving the pace Patterson has started at and he is not letting up as he gets to his feet first then proceeds to pick George up and smack him back down twice. The third time however as he picks him up George uses his shoulder to drive Patterson into the ringsteps giving himself a minute to recuperate. Monsoon theroizes however that it's the adrenaline running through him that sees him get back to his feet so quickly and begin to stalk the IC champ around the ring except apparently while he was downed he had reached below the ring to find a weapon as now he carries with him a singapore cane!
Whack! Bam! Whallop! the crowd are loving it as Patterson repeatedly strikes him with the cane as George stumbles up the ramp way. Patterson goes to deliver a number of strikes more when George suddenly pulls a cameraman in between them as a human shield and he (the cameraman) is inadvertently hit hard across the back causing him to drop his camera. Good guy patterson for the first time in the fight snaps out of the revenge induced rage he was in and shows concern for the innocent bystander he just hurt but loses all his momentum by doing so as Gorgeous George snatches up the camera and rams it into his assailants head busting him wide open and dropping him down to his knees. George then goes around behind Patterson and using the cable from the camera starts to try to choke the life out of him. Pat fervently attempts to loosen the cable around his neck but Georges grip is too strong and Pattersons face actually starts to go red as he struggles to breath. As the camera zooms in on his face another thing that can be seen is... a moment of realization, this is a no DQ match and in one swift movement he drives his elbow backwards into Georges crotch.
Suddenly both men are bent over trying to catch their breath half way up the ramp. The thing is this is Wrestlepalooza and not a normal show so The Ramp way is especially long and they are actually elevated several feet as they both slowly get back to their feet and begin exchanging big rights and lefts. They do so for a good minute and both men look barely able to stand under their own weight when Gorgeous George breaks up the exchange with a headbutt and sends Patterson stumbling backwards before a big uppercut leaves him precariously teetering on the edge of the ramp just able to keep himself from falling off (as the crowd ooh and ahh). Sensing his opportunity George swings a huge haymaker but Paterson just about ducks under it before grabbing his opponent and OH SH!T backdrop off the ramp! The commentators point out that it's a metal floor next to the ramp way as we see replays and EMTs are called but wait Patterson isn't done! He slaps his knee repeatidly then points down to where George is lying asking the crowd what should he do... the answer is clear as Pat runs and jumps up another few feet before coming down strong with his Diving knee drop finisher. George cries out in pain so loud that according to Heenan he pierced eardrums up in the cheap seats of this 120,000 seater arena while Patterson rolls over on top of him as an official (back up on the rampway) counts 1.....2....3!Winner:Pat PattersonBooking Explanation: Gorgeous George really has to get his comeuppance and after a more than year long build including their match at last years Wrestlepalooza Patterson finally having his moment and getting his retribution here while once again becoming the Intercontinental champion would be a great moment
Both men are in need of assistance as they leave the arena but the new champ (clutching the belt in his arms as he goes) is at least able to walk out of the arena while George needs to be stretchered out after one hell of a battle.
-Backstage Segment-As they re-arrange the ringside area we are brough to a pre-recorded backstage interview from earlier in the night as Eden Stiles sits down with Salvator "Gory" Guerrero
Eden: Gory, I have to ask... what is your mindset heading into your match tonight with the woman you clearly adore Aja Kong? are you really going to be able to beat her in a physical battle?
Guerrero: Thing is Eden you know she wants some Latino heat otherwise she wouldn't have made this match, she is just testing me but I'd like to take this opportunity to highlight to the world that this man right here would never raise his hand in anger to a beautiful mamacita like Aja.... that said she will be mine
He then winks at the camera as we head back to ringsideintergender singles match
Gory Guerrero vs Aja KongBackstory: On the first Raw of the new season Gory Guerrero started wooing a mystery woman even dedicating his matches to this as he described her "Caliente Mamacita". Many people assumed that this may have been one of the Bella twins or some similar Diva but her identity was revealed as being none other than Aja Kong at The Royal Rumble when he invited her out to ringside to watch his Intercontinental title match, a match she actually ended up costing him after she slapped him silly for aiming an inappropriate gesture her way. This did not deter the smitten patriarch of the Guerrero family however as he was determined to show her where Eddie got his Latino heat from and over the following weeks their paths continued to cross until eventually it all come to a head when after her match (that he had been a keen observer of) Aja offered him a chance to be her man but first he must prove that he could handle her... by facing her (and winning) in a match at Wrestlepalooza!
The Match - As the bell rings Aja gestures for Gory to come and try to attack her but he shakes his head and can be seen telling her he won't attack her. Aja's response is a huge clothesline. This process repeats itself three times with Guerrero slowly getting up refusing to attack Kong and then getting knocked back down on his ass. Heenan is having great fun making fun of him on commentary but Monsoon defends Gory calling him an honorable man but questioning how he could possibly win if he won't attack his opponent. Moments later as Aja goes for a 4th big clothesline and Gory is able to side step the attack before rolling her up for an inside cradle pin he is almost able to answer that question but she kicks out at 2. They both get to their feet at almost the same time though and Aja is immediately back on the attack with a number of big backhand strikes before she suplexes Gory across the ring. As he lands he also collides with the ref who who drops to the mat like a sack of potatoes.
Spotting this Gory rolls to the outside and grabs a steel chair much to Heenan's amusement as he starts shouting about how Gory has finally snapped and won't take any more from Kong. Instead we are treated to a Guerrero classic as he slides back into the ring and keeps Aja at bay with the threat of the chair until just before the ref gets back to his feet when Gory throws the chair to Aja and drops to the mat feigning injury. He's obviously hoping for a DQ but the ref isn't buying it and instead just groggily takes the chair from Aja and goes to the opposite of the ring where eventually a BWA ring hand takes the chair from him. However everyone's attention is on Gory who rises from the mat to one knee and before Kong delivers a planned big kick she is stopped in his tracks by Guerrero producing a ring from his boot. Aja looks shocked and doesen't know what to do as Gory slides the ring onto her finger he then suddenly pulls something across his forehead before dropping to the mat as the ref turns around. When he does he see a confused looking Aja standing above a now bloodied Guerrero. The ref sees the ring on her finger and immediately calls for the bell!Winner:Via DQ - Gory GuerreroBooking explanation: I really liked the idea of Guerrero having to win this match to win the lady's heart but being too much of a face to physically beat her and thus finding himself in quite a quandary. Then again he is the patriarch of the Guerrero family so finding a creative way to win the match through Lying, cheating or stealing the win would make perfect sense her and make it so that we have a unique pairing of Gory & Aja going forward as a unit be it as Aja gets involved in the womens title chase or Guerrero looking for his own gold.
The announcers highlight that Guerrero clearly cut himself with a blade (Heenan even found the blade used) but as Monsoon says it matters not because officially this one goes in the record books as a win for Gory which means Aja has to go out with Senor Guerrero. They also point out that as the match result was announced Kong looked pissed but in subsequent replays she was clearly able to see the funnier side of it and actually smiles as she heads to the back.
-Backstage segment-We then cut away to an interview filmed earlier today with Mexican legend El Santo
He says that usually he speaks in his native tongue but wanted this message to be heard by Sami Zayn. He actually repeatedly refers to him as Sami only once calling him El Generico as he delivers a very serious warning to his Canadian opponent about how in Mexico a wrestling mask is considered sacred and that Zayn is disrespecting his nations heritage every time he comes out and "plays dress up" but states that he will go to whatever lenght and do whatever is neccesary no matter what depths that takes him to, to ensure that tonight is the last time he ever has to hear the name "El Generico!"Mask vs Mask match
El Santo vs El GenericoBackstory: After being traded to the promotion Sami Zayn arrived in the BWA to a great reaction from the fans, the same fans were surprised to see another person appear around the same time but also really got behind his arrival and that was El Generico. One person however who didn't seem to love the arrival of the luchador billed as being from Tijuana Mexico was El Santo. To be perfectly honest it is hard to blame him too as although none of it was intentional in subsequent weeks El Generico was to blame for him and his partners (Gory Guerrero) elimination from the royal rumble and a number of tag team match defeats. The fact that El Generico kept getting involved in their business and with such terrible results was too much for El Santo and he decided to call him out on it but much to everyones surprise it wasn't the Luchadore he called out but actually Sami Zayn and in doing so essentially outed him as the man behind the mask. And as we heard in his pre match interview El Santo believes that Zayn has disrespecting his nations heritage by "playing Lucha" and vowed to put an end to that tonight by facing him in a mask vs mask match where he will put an end to El Generico once and for all.
The Match: El Santo is out first and gets a good reaction but you can just see the anger, almost hatred in his eyes as El Generico makes his way out. Perhaps it does not help that the fans are actually cheering him more than they did the Mexican legend and sing his theme tune as he comes out. The match starts at a really fast pace and it is El Santo who has the advantage in the early going forgoing the typical luchadore style and instead focusing more on catching his opponent with numerous big rights and left hands. There is clearly a lot of power behind these and Heenan on commentary begins to wonder what State El Generico's face will be in when we see it later although Monsoon says he shouldn't rule out him making a comeback and El Santo being unmasked. However that seems less likely when El Santo first locks in an armbar where he looks like he will pull his opponents arm straight out of it's socket and then goes up top and hits a diving headbutt onto the shoulder of the same arm. he climbs up top and looks like he may go for a second diving headbutt but suddenly El Generico springs into action climbs the turnbickle and after a few chops tries to deliver a superplex to El Santo but he is fought off and then El Santo tries the same on him but gets the same lack of success this time as Generico hit him hard in the gut.
He then took advantage and all the bouts momentum as he wowed the crowd with his Brainbustaaaaahhhhh!!!!! (Super brainbuster onto the top turnbuckle) finishing maneuver. Obviously this dropped El Santo to the outside so unfortunately it wasn't finishing anything but moments later and Generico performed a suicide dive to the outside taking out El Santo just as he began to get back to his feet.
Unfortunately for Generico despite taking out El Santo he also landed with his shoulder taking the brunt of the impact, the same shoulder that Zayn had caught in his armbar earlier. As a result El Santo is actually the first one back to his feet and when Generico gets back up he tosses him shoulder first into the nearby ring steps. The Ref starts a 10 count as El Santo gets back in the ring but despite the fact that from this point onwards El Generico's arm looks it's dislocated he is able to get back into the ring with it hanging down by his side at the count of 8. He is also able to surprise El Santo and despite his injury avoid his immediate attack and instead catch him with a flying crossbody. He follows that up with several more impressive moves (really getting the crowd going) and then by Irish whipping him into the corner where he tries for his Helluva Olé Kick but at the last second El Santo moves out of the way leaving El Generico caught up on the turnbuckle.
El Santo quickly gets in behind him and one bridging belly to back suplex later and the ref makes a long 2 count. This also dropped El Generico on his injured shoulder and after kicking out he is seen to roll around calling out in agony, but he gets no sympathy from El Santo, the opposite in fact as he repeatedly stomps on his shoulder shouting at him in spanish as he does "se divierten ahora Sami" (Having fun now Sami). There is exploiting an injury and then there is going too far and El Santo has clearly wandered into the later catagory as he continues to attack the shoulder again and again and as a result the fans begin to boo the Mexican hero.
Heenan on the announce table who now seems to suddenly be pro El Santo points out how he has been in more than 35 Luchas de Apuestas matches with his mask on the line and that it doesn't look like tonight will be his first loss as Gory Guerrero El Santo's tag team partner comes running down to the ring and proceeds to plead with him to stop attacking El Genericos injury. For a moment it seems he listens to him but then he shakes his head and after one more huge foot stomp on the injured shoulder he locks the move Gory himself invented, The La de a Caballo (Camel clutch). El Generico refuses to tap for what seems an age but eventually due to the pain of his injury which was exasperated by the hold relents and taps.Winner:El SantoBooking explanation: Sami obviously needs the mask a lot less than El Santo who after his display here has turned heel and the feud could perhaps continue but with a now altered dynamic with the hugely popular Zayn going up against the face no more Mexican legend and if he could get his win back against him it would set him up very nicely to move up the card.
After the result of the match is announced El Santo amidst a torrent of boos rips the mask straight off El Generico revealing (to nobody's surprise) Sami Zayn below. He then just marches away from the ring (mask in hand) and up the rampway leaving Zayn in pieces behind him. Guerrero tries to reach out to El Santo but he is just shaken off the the Lucha Legend who is in no mood for hanging around.0 -
Arn Anderson & Tully Blanchard (c) vs Jason Jordan & Chad GableBackstory: The corner stone of the Heenan family and one of the greatest tag teams of all time Arn Anderson & Tully Blanchard aka "The Brainbuster" have been unstoppable since they arrived in the company during the summer as surprise challengers in a match former champions Abdullah The Butcher & The Original Shiek had to win in order to keep their jobs. After banishing them from the federation Arn & Tully then set their sights on winning the tag titles which they did on the very first night of the draft season and the premiere episode of this season of BWA Raw against the Brisco brothers. Having won the titles due to Bobby Heenans interference they had a point ot prove at the Royal Rumble rematch and impressed the world by winning clean but it was also at the Rumble that they were introduced to the team that Daniel Bryan (who had been having his now well documented issues with the Heenan Family) tweeted would be coming for the champs. The team was BWA's developmental starlets and the super over Chad Gable and Jason Jordan aka American Alpha and they made their presence known almost immediately as they were directly responsible for the elimination of both Arn & Tully form the 2016 Royal Rumble match.
Bobby Heenan tried to run down and belittle this team claiming that they were not on The Brainbusters level but each and every week they upset the odds first whether it was defeating the former champions The Brisco brothers or the team specifically put together by Heenan to stop them in their tracks of Brock Lesnar & Rick Rude. These boys each and every week have overcome the odds to get to Wrestlepalooza and to get to this match can they do it once more to become the BWA World tag team champions? it's time to find out
The Match: Gable & Jordan are out first followed by the champions but it's American Alpha whom the fans go wild for, so much so that the announcers are genuinely surprised in particular with the response for Chad Gable who's name is chanted by the record crowd. This clearly p!sses off Arn Anderson who Heenan says will put him in his place tonight. As a result it is no surprise that The Brainbusters start very aggressively with Arn in particular striking Gable in a manner that one extremely loud member of the audience was heard to refer to as "oohh thats stiff as f"ck!" and as a result the Heenan's boys are on top as this match gets going. They tag in and out regularly and the announcers refer to the opening of this match as an education for American Alpha as despite their popularity and impressive performances in recent weeks they have never come up against a team as well oiled as The Brainbusters. They have isolated Gable and are slowly wearing him down to the point that when Tully Blanchard is tagged in and hits him with his signature Slingshot suplex off the top rope and onto the mat Blanchard is able to almost get a 3 count (Chad kicks out at the last moment).
Gable rolls to the outside after the pin and starts shaking his head, Jordan tries to motivate him but hings look bleak for the challengers but the fans support never wavers and they once again begin to chant his name as Bobby Heenan leaves the announce table and gets the ref to start counting Gable out. Jordan is clearly telling Gable to listen to the fans whose chants are now almost deafening and around the 7 mark in the refs count he rolls back into the ring clearly looking psyched up and ready to go again. Tully plans to kill that spirit dead as soon as he can however and charges Gable looking for a big clothesline but it's ducked as both men charge across the ring bounce off the ropes and head back for each other where it's the Olympian Gable who hits an impressive dropkick. Blanchard pops straight back up but also straight into a Judo throw...Has momentum changed it's address? It looks like it as the former horseman once again gets back up perhaps too quickly as he is immediately caught by Gable and his "Chaos Theory" (Waist-lock backward roll transitioned German suplex). At which point Jason Jordan tags in and the two combine for their "Grand Amplitude" Belly-to-back pop-up (Jordan) into a bridging high-angle belly-to-back suplex (Gable) after which Jordan makes the pin
.....1.....2......Arn Anderson Breaks up the pinfall! Gable was ready to stop the interference but Heenan from the outside grabbed his leg just long enough to stop that from happening. When Gable does break free though he begins to brawl with Anderson until Jordan gets back to his feet and grabs Arn (who is focused on Gable) and performs his Olympic Slam to him! He then rolls back to Tully and covers him again...1.....2....kickout!
After making the count the ref gets Chad Gable out of the ring while Heenan grabs Tully's leg and pulls the legal man from his team out of the ring to allow them to regroup. Something they get to do as a trio after the ref steps in and stops Jordan from attacking Anderson (pointing out he isn't the legal man and helping him to the outside). Then just like he did earlier for the challengers the referee starts a 10 count for the champions. They seem to have formulated a plan in time for Tully to re-enter the ring at 8 however. He stays in his corner and when Jordan comes to attack him Arn tags in from behind while Tully acts as if he is unaware and starts laying into Jordan. Jordan who has seen the tag was caught a little unawares by this allowing Blanchard to have the upper hand and after he connects with a good few hard punches he Irish whips Jordan into the waiting Arn Anderson who catches him with his Double A Spinning spinebuster. The ref goes to remove Tully but sees Arn go for the pin so instead counts while Blanchard is able to block Gable's path from interfering....1....2...Kickout!
Anderson looks a little annoyed but smiles as Heenan shouts out "Make him tap!" and locks in his figure four leg lock. He is pretty close to the corner but before Jason Jordan can even think about reaching for the ropes Heenan jumps up on the apron and slaps Blanchard on the back saying "Now" and Tully reaches down over the ropes and taps Anderson on the head tagging himself in. The ref sees this but directs his attention to Heenan ordering him to get off the apron while the Brain just points at Gable back in his corner screaming about him trying to interfere. While the ref is distracted Blanchard jumps over the ropes and comes down hard in a stomping motion on Jordans leg while he is still in the figure four. Seeing this Gable does indeed go to enter the ring to help his partner but the ref who has been directed towards him (by Heenan who now drops back down off the apron) holds him at bay. When the ref finally is able to focus back on the in ring action Tully has replaced Arn in the ring and has immediately locked in his own figure four leg lock. Jordan is able to reach the ropes and have the hold broken but the damage has evidently been done as Tully stands back and with a big smirk on his face watches as his opponent fails to be able to stand up such is the severity of the damage done to his leg.
Tully then tags in Arn (who immediately climbs to the top rope) before grabbing Jason Jordan who is trying to crawl to his corner and setting him up for a piledriver but when Anderson comes off the top rope it becomes their double team finisher the dredded Spike Piledrive! After which Arn makes the pin while his partner stops Gable from interfering.Winner:the Brain BustersBooking Explanation: If D.Bryan is the underdog for the people to cheer for in the singles division Gable & Jordan are that in the tag division but the great underdogs don't over come adversary at the first time of trying they have to first fail so that the success that comes later can taste all the sweeter. This feud will be enough in itself to establish the developmental stars and new fan favorites while the win further establishes The Brainbusters as the number one team in the industry (They have only really held the belts for a month or so), a team that would be so highly thought of that if anyone including American Alpha does defeat them somewhere down the line it's be a big deal and speaking of American Alpha they can always blame Heenans involvement for the loss as they seek a rematch. This is also a big win and momentum booster for The Heenan Family which Bobby would no doubt talk up on commentary
After the match while Chad Gable helps Jason Jordan hobble up the ramp and into the back (the crowd cheer them as they go) Kyle Edwards enters the ring and interviews the champions and their manager Bobby Heenan about the match they just fought.Anderson: I gotta give those two tough SOBs props they put up one hell of a fight tonight, but they were not as good or as smart as The Brain Busters!
Heenan: and no Arda, I mean Kyle... No there will be no rematch for those two!
Tully: Hey wait... do we have another match, did those Horsemen wannabees show some balls and accept our challenge
Heenan: I don't even know if that promotion has a TV deal to be honest lads but if you mean that guy that got sacked by WWE for being overweight and the guy whose name I can't even pronounce down in BCW I know they didn't show here tonight. Their scared of you boys!
Anderson: Tully, get Rick on the phone, tonight we party like only the best team in the best promotion in the world can but tomorrow were giving them a ratings bump!
When Heenan returns to the announce table Monsoon is all talk about about the BWA invading BCW tomorrow night but Heenan calms him down saying that he plans to talk to Arn & Tully later tonight and explain that that other promotion is below them but that first he wants to focus on the rest of tonights show before we head backstage once more.
-Backstage Segment-Brock Lesnar is sat staring at a laptop screen muttering to himself "fighting for the little guy.....believes in himself...and we believe in Bryan...We Believe he can tame the Beast!" Just then an interviewer enters the room looking to get a few words from Brock about the main event tonight when Lesnar loses it and essentially tears the computer apart before smashing the half he still has in his hand (the screen) repeatedly on a nearby table. Immediately realizing his mistake the interviewer tries to exit the room but Brock grabs him
Brock: "You wanna know my thoughts on my match tonight, Huh is that it!? Maybe you wanna know if the ultimate underdog can slay this beast!? (He gets right up in the interviewers face as he asks this, and makes the poor man look like he is going to piss his pants)...People need to stop believing in fairytales... tonight that underdog...I'm putting him down!2 on 1 handicap womens title match
Kharma vs Nikki (c) & Brie (The Bella Twins)Backstory: It's well documented that the Bella Twins and Kharma had issues during their tenure in the WWE. The way those ladies treated a then pregnant Kharma was unforgivable and the fans wanted to see them pay for it...but as the years passed Nikki & Brie thought they had gotten away with everything despite Kharma's threat that she would one day return to get her vengeance. In fact they had even departed from that federation and become stars in the biggest promotion in the world the BWA where they had run the rule over the Womans divison even claiming responsibility for running Ronda Rousey out of town. Everything changed for them in one single moment however.... that moment was when Kharma made her shocking BWA return (she has been in the BWA a few times before) at the Royal Rumble and we soon found out that she was indeed coming for the Bellas and for what meant the most to them, Nikki's Womens title as a match had been booked for Wrestlepalooza where she would take on both ladies with the gold on the line and no number of phony apologies would stop that. Will Kharma get her vengence? will we have a new womens champion? or Will the numbers advantage be too much as Team Bella continue to reign supreme? find out now!
The Match: The challenger is out first and gets a great response from the BWA faithful as she steps foot in a BWA ring for the first time in many years. Then the champ and her sister Nikki & Brie Bella come out and despite them telling the crowd that they and not "that fatty" are who should be cheerd the crowd don't seem too pleased to see them. Kharma on the other hand is licking her lips as they enter the ring and immediately once the bell goes catches them both with a double clothesline. The sisters claim they aren't ready but the challenger doesn not look like she is going to wait around and once again starts advancing on them. Kharma may have the size advantage but they still have the numbers advantage and before she can grab them they both starts hitting her with repeated kicks wearing her down.
Eventually Kharma drops to a knee at which point the twins grab her and look to be going for a double suplex but uh oh Kong is too strong and reverses it suplexing both Bellas by herself! The crowd are loving this and that does not stop as Brie gets to her feet only to stumble into an Awesome bomb (Sitout powerbomb pin) but Nikki who is now back to her feet breaks up the pin. Still that means it is now 1on1 and Nikki realizes this as a p!ssed off Kharma gets back to her feet and advances on her so she rolls to the outside. Kharma follows her however and the champ is chased around the ring. Eventually she gets back into it just to get away from her chaser and when Kharma follows her Brie who is back on her feet by now is waiting and hits her with an impressive dropkick. The twins again go for a double team move at this time but waste now time with a Double team snap suplex as they take control of the bout.
The fans begin to boo as Brie puts Kharma into the Yes Lock and Nikki climbs onto the top turnbuckle and starts abusing the fans. Not a smart move though as the sheer size difference between Brie and Kharma and the fact that she does not apply the hold as well as her husband means that Kharma is able to power out of it, lift Brie up and then slam her on the Mat. Only after the slam does Nikki realize this but she does have time to get to Kharma and kick her in her gut before she could do anything. Then in a great show of strenght Nikki actually lifts her opponent up onto her shoulders after signalling she is going for her patented Rack Attack but... no, her legs buckle under the weight and she drops down leaving herself prone for attack and Kharma does not dissapoint delivering her devastating Implant Buster, Lifting double underhook facebuster. She then lines both Bellas up beside each other before climbing to the top rope and wowing everyone by going airborne and landing her Amazing Press (Diving Splash) on both Twins at the same time before making the pin. 1...2....3!Winner:Awesome KharmaBooking Explanation: A simple case of the Bellas had it coming and like with Gorgeous George earlier in the night them getting their comeuppance after how they treated Kharma and showed no remorse would be a moment the fans would truely enjoy. No doubt we could have a rematch after this with the Bella's like in this match trying to use the numbers advantage to get the title back but we could also see Aja Kong coming into the mix against her old friend while The Bellas could manage their BWA male counterparts.
-Backstage Segment-Backstage we see a reporter waiting outside a dressing room with the name "Ravishing Rick Rude" emblazoned across the door. Suddenly the door swings open and Rude comes strutting out. The reporter desperately tries to ask him questions but Rude informs him that he has "120,000 sweathogs awaiting" him so if that reporter wants to hear what he has to say then he should follow him out there. The reporter does run down the corridor after him but it seems this won't be a backstage segment afterall as we head back to ringside as The Ravishing One's music hits and he come out and makes his way down the extra long Wrestlepalooza ramp to a mixed reaction of cheers boos and cat calls. When he enters the ring Bobby Heenan is waiting for him and hands him a microphone.
Rude: I've been told you people travelled from all round the world to be here tonight, you made a pilgrimage just to see what a real man looks like. (A burst of boos, followed by a small *Muta Muta Muta* chant breaks out but it doesen't last long)... You boo me cos you wanna be me but if you sweathogs can put aside your jealousy for a moment and keep the noise down while I take my robe off and give the ladies a good look at the sexiest man alive that'd be much appreciated. (Heenan takes his robe for him)... Thank you Bobby and.. sorry Bobby, you see I don't think your going to like what I have to say next cos all those Ladies flashing away at me with more than just their cameras ain't just looking at the Sexiest man alive but the soon to be Sexiest Champion of all time. Daniel Bryan or (looks at Heenan) Brock Lesnar it matters not as after my match tonight your just the next name to lose to the perfection personified you see before you!
Bobby Heenan doesn't look too pleased but plays it off as just confidence from Rude when he returns to the commentary booth and says that anyone wrestling in a match like this one now should either believe they can beat the champ or just go home. The Great Muta is next out though and has a huge elaborate Wrestlepalooza style entrance which sees a whole host of Great Mutas from down the years on stage and a symphany orchestra play his entrance theme as he emerges dressed in his most gruesome get up to date.No.1 contender Match
Rick Rude vs The Great MutaBackstory: Rick Rude was not too pleased when he debuted to boos on the first BWA Raw of the new draft season a fact compounded when the fans where so enthusiastic about the debut of The Great Muta the following week. determined to prove the BWA universe wrong Rude then put in a hugely impressive display at the Royal Rumble going all the way from number 1 to the very end of the match. He even argued with the promotions board of directors that the Rumble was an antiquated concept and that he should be the no.1 contender for the world title at Wrestlepalooza and not someone (Rumble Winner Daniel Bryan) who spent less than 10% of the time he did in the match. The only problem with this arguement however was that Rude was not the only one to have spent so long in the Rumble as no.2 to enter the match Keiji Mutoh also lasted all the way to the end and as a result the board booked a no.1 contenders match between the two for wrestlepalooza.
This wasn't enough for Rude though and he continued to complain about the match in his promos and one promo in particular he went a little too far using racial slurs to refer to Mutoh and likening him to wrestlers in rundown promotions like MNG. Unfortunately for Rude in doing so he awoke a monster within The Japanese legend, a monster named The Great Muta. The Great Muta will go to lenghts that Keiji Mutoh would not so as to become victorious and being victorious now means becoming the no.1 contender at Wrestlepalooza. Can Rude overcome this monster or will the BWA for the first time see the true power of The Great Muta...find out now!
The Match - When Muta finally enters the ring and the bell rings he goes face to face with Rude and catches his opponent off guard by immediately spraying green mist into Rude's face and then hitting a dragon suplex. Heenan is incensed shouting at Monsoon who had earlier described Muta as being an honorable fighter although Gorilla retorts by pointing out that he was talking about Keiji Mutoh and that when he is pushed into being "The Great Muta" he is a much darker persona who is willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done. Thanks to these tactics Muta has the advantage early on here (but the fans still support and chant for him). He doesen't however have all the offense early on as Rude for example does execute an impressive Belly to back suplex and does get a figure four leg lock on Muta at one point but the Japanese star is able to force the break and soon after he is able to get back on top.
This occurs after Rude delivers a Delayed backbreaker to Muta and then goes to the top rope signalling that a diving fist drop is coming but Muta springs to life and follows him up the turnbuckle fighting him as he goes before hitting a frankensteiner off the top rope. He doesn't stop there though and instead immediately climbs back up to the top rope and follows it up by performing a Moonsault onto Rude and going for the pin...1...2...Kickout!
Muta is on a roll here and as Rude tries to get back to his feet he actually catches him with his shinning wizard finisher!
Perhaps that could have been enough for the win but Rude smartly rolls to the outside after the impact and takes a moment to adjust himself, he looks really shaken up but also annoyed with himself as this match really has not been going his way thus far and perhaps the frustration is getting the best of him as he starts looking under the ring for something to use. Back in the ring Muta sees this and apparently decides that he is not going to wait around for Rude to gain an unfair advantage and signals that he is going for a suicide dive to the outside before bouncing against the ropes on the far side to gain momentum. Heenan screams at his man (Rude) to warn him about the impending danger and then at the last moment as Muta comes flying through the top and middle ropes Rude lifts a chair up into his path. Monsoon once again shows his frustration calling his announce partner and Rude cheats but Heenan just points out that Rude didn't hit him with the chair the guy jumped head first into it.
Muta seems dazed and a bit confused but the two continue to brawl on the outside but now Rude is able to gain an advantage and his signature DDT on the outside definitely helps to achieve that especially seeing as the chair from earlier is where Muta's head lands. At this point the ref orders that the chair be removed from ringside but Rude ignores him while grabbing Muta up and placing his head on top of the ring steps. Then when the referee threatens to disqualify him if he does not hand it over and get back in the ring Bobby Heenan scurries over and grabs the chair before going round to the other side of the ring while The Ravishing one surprisingly seems to actually listen to the ref and re-enters the ring. The referee is about to start a 10 count on Muta when Heenan jumps up on the apron with the chair in hand on the opposite side of the ring taking his attention over there.
The moment the distraction occurs Rick Rude leapfrogs over the ringropes landing hard on and driving his foot into the back of Muta's head (which is still placed on the steel steps). He then throws Muta back into the ring and re-enters himself as Heenan drops off the apron and throws away the chair ending the distraction. Rude then slowly lifts Muta up (showing the world his now shattered mask) and delivers his Rude Awakening (Delayed hangman's neckbreaker) before making the pinfall, 1...2....3!Winner and new No.1 contender:"Ravishing" Rick RudeBooking Explanation: This is a match I thought could have gone either way but giving Rude the win achieves a few things booking wise. It continues the Heenan Families momentum on the night and in doing so sets up the potential for a Heenan Family whitewash on the event and that if in the main event Brock were to retain the Rick Rude vs Brock Lesnar Family Feud that has been mentioned in recent weeks could happen. Meanwhile if Brock were to lose and drop the title we would have a face vs heel dynamic set up with Bryan vs Rude
After the match when Heenan returns to commentary where Monsoon grabs him and tells him that that's the second match he has influenced the result of so far and that if he dares get involved in tonight's main event like that he will have him to answer to (while shaking his fist at him). This doesn't dampen Heenan's positivity however and he states that Brock can "beat that goat" without his help anyway.-Backstage Segment-We head to the BWA lockeroom where Josh Matthews is standing by with Jason Jordan & Chad Gable
Josh: Firstly I want to offer my commiserations to you about what happened in your match earlier tonight when you came up just a little short against The Heenan Family members "Arn Anderson & Tully Blanchard" for the tag titles...(they appreciate this)... Do you think Daniel Bryan can avoid this same fate when he faces off against another Heenan associate and the World Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar?
Gable: I've heard a lot of people debating this, because believe me Brock is one of the greatest of all time, the guy literally is a Beast but he can be beaten.
Jordan: Bobby Heenan will remind you at every turn that size matters in this bout... but so does heart, and Bryan has the biggest heart in the world and tonight there will be 120,000 fans out there all chanting his name and deep down in the pit of my heart I believe they won't be dissapointed... (he looks at Gable) Will Daniel Bryan win tonight?
Gable: Yes, Yes, (the crowd can be heard to join in) Yes, Yes, Yes, YesWorld Heavyweight Title Match
Brock Lesnar (c) vs Daniel BryanBackstory: The most beloved man in BWA history Daniel Bryan has done it all in this industry. From wrestling in front of a handful of people in small dirty gyms to headlining Wrestlepalooza (before he ever headlined Wrestlemania) a few years back and winning his first World Title against HHH. Unfortunately his incredible journey which is highlighted below has come at a cost.
Bryan unfortunately picked up so many injuries throughout the years that The BWA doctors were refusing to allow Bryan to compete any longer for his own well being. Bryan had fought against this but seemingly on the first Raw of a new draft year was willing to accept his fate and announce his retirement from wrestling until Brock Lesnar made his presence known. The Beast who later that night joined forces with The Heenan family and essentially stole the BWA title ruined Bryan's moment and then when Daniel refused to back down performed a heinous attack the likes of which the BWA audience had never seen before and just like that it seemed The leader of the Yes movements career was over!
A few weeks later at The Royal Rumble Brock Lesnar silenced the outspoken opposition to his reign (in the form of Gorilla Monsoon) and booked his place in the main event of Wrestlepalooza VI which we had only recently learned would be in front of a record crowd of 120,000. Then in the main event his opponent was decided when Daniel Bryan shocked the world making his return as no.20 and going on to win the match for the first time in his career. Heenan and co. argued the legitimacy of this win but (Bryan was eventually cleared to wrestle and) the main event of the biggest show of the year was set, a main event that the world has been waiting years for in which both men will square off against each other for the first time ever. In the weeks that followed both sides played mind games with each other in a game of one-upmanship which included The Heenan families intimidation of Bryan's wife Brie Bella but that just added feul to the fire (as if it was needed) and now it's time to sit back and enjoy one hell of a main event as The Ultimate underdog Daniel Bryan takes on the The Beast Incarnate and BWA champion Brock Lesnar. The Match
Bryan is out first and the yes movement is out in force tonight chanting along with him as he YESes his way to the ring, that is until the champ emerges and hushes the crowd as he makes his way down to the squared circle for tonight's main event. The two go face to face in the center of the ring as the ever honorable Bryan offers his hand to Lesnar. Instead of shaking it however Brock just looks at it and laughs before clearly saying to Bryan "Welcome to Suplex City...B!tch" and then turning his back on the challenger to head back to his corner as the bell sounds. Bryan too had turned to head back to his corner when the bell rang but unfortunately for him it was the champ who reacted quickest to this happening immediately turning and attacking Bryan from behind knocking him into the corner. He followed this up with several shoulder thrusts into the turnbuckle and right from the off The Beast was in control.
It is in fact at this point that Bryan was truly welcomed to Suplex city with Mayor Lesnar hitting him with multiple German suplexes. The crowd actually count along as Brock hits them but when Brock gets to three and does not release after the third instead attempting a fourth Bryan wriggles free and then stops Lesnar in his tracks with a Pele kick dropping him to a knee where Bryan hits him with several shoot kicks before finally a roundhouse kick kncks the big man to the mat.
Daniel Bryan now clearly feeding off the crowd locks in his "Yes Lock" on Brock and tries to make the Beast tap and it seems a real possibility as they are right in the center of the ring and no matter how much he tries Lesnar just cannot reach the ropes. He eventually avoids tapping by in a show of amazing strength he is able to slowly get to his feet and despite Bryan still having his submission locked in, he essentially lifts Bryan who is still in the crossface position into the air before suddenly slamming the challenger down hard onto the mat where he eventually releases the hold. Lesnar does not hang about however and reaffirms his position in command of this bout by locking in his own submission hold on Bryan , The Kimura Lock. This time it's Bryan's turn to struggle as The leader of the YES movement looks close to tapping but he is instead just about able to reach the ropes. Despite this Lesnar refuses to release the hold as the announcers scream that he is going to break Bryan's arm but after a 5 count he reluctantly lets go of Bryan, who immediately rolls to the outside.
Brock follows him but is caught off guard by another series of kicks from Bryan but before The American Dragon can move into the ascendancy a swift knee strike to his midsection sees Lesnar back in control a fact driven home as Brock drives Bryan into the steel ring steps. Bryan isn't given a moment to recuperate as The Beast grabs him and hits him with what looks like a running powerbomb up against the ringpost. Then in a move similar to his battle with Gorilla Monsoon (who now reminds Heenan that if he tries to interfere both of them will be fighting for the 2nd time tonight) Brock starts tearing up the protective mat revealing the unforgiving concrete floor at ringside. The champ tries to set Bryan up for another Powerbomb (a regular one this time) onto the concrete, he gets him up but right as he goes to bring him down Bryan reverses it into a tornado DDT. After Brock's head connects with the ground he looks out of it and has clearly been busted wide open. As blood begins to flow Bryan lifts him up and tosses him into the ring. He climbs in himself then and makes a pinfall. 1 , 2...kickout!
almost immediately Brock gets back to his knees leaving Bryan shaking his head in disbelief... how can he stop The Beast who is now looking at the blood he just wiped off his face and laughing maniacally ? His answer is to try for a running knee but Brock pops back up to his feet before Bryan gets to him and catches the challenger with a huge spinebuster. Then while Bryan is getting back to his feet Lesnar grabs him from behind and hits a German suplex which he follows up with another and then a 3rd at which point the ref starts to make a 10 count. Bryan however is back to his feet around the 7 mark but immediately Brock delivers his 7th German suplex of the night before shouting at him "STAY DOWN!". The crowd are chanting his name however and Daniel Bryan defiantly gets up just before nine and then much to their amazement (and a huge reaction) he waves Brock towards him almost saying is that all you've got to him. Sadly for him no it isn't and Brock hits a hellacious clothesline making Bryan completely flip over before he grabs the fan favorite and delivers a devastating F5!
Brock screams at the crowd and a stunned silence comes over the arena as Brock again starts laughing before going for the pin. 1.....2.....Kickout! how in gods name is Bryan able to kickout ? ponders Heenan while Monsoon points out that Brock took too long making the cover. Brock looks incensed
and sets himself up for what Heenan states will be the final F5 and the one to put the exclamation point on an epic title defense. He reaches down to lift up Bryan but when he does Bryan grabs his arm and rolls him up in a small package...1....2....Kickout!
Now it's Brock who is in shock as he rolls over to the corner and looks at Bryan in disbelief wondering how he is not only still in this but just almost won the match, his surprise grows further as Bryan rises to his feet before him and the "Daniel Bryan" chants once again start up. Lesnar once again charges at him with a big clothesline but Bryan is able to duck below it at the last moment and then when Lesnar turns around to face him again Bryan catches him not one or two but several European uppercuts the last of which sees Brock teetering on the top rope at which point Bryan slingshots himself off the ring ropes and hits a dropkick knocking Lesnar over and to the outside. The crowd are going wild after this superman level comeback by Bryan but he isn't finished yet and instead once again uses the ropes for momentum before performing a suicide dive to the outside taking out the champ as he tried to get back to his feet.
Bryan tries to not lose any of his momentum and throws Brock straight back into the ring before rolling inside himself. Unfortunately despite his valiant comeback Brock has not received half as much punishment as Bryan so far and when Bryan does re-enter the ring Brock is already waiting for him and after another knee to his mid-section he hoists the challenger up and delivers his 2nd F5 of the night. Heenan is shouting at Brock telling him not to waste too much time before the pin again but Monsoon points out that he doesn't think Brock is planning to go for a pin at all and is instead plotting his next move as he eyes up the turnbuckle. Moments later and The Beast is climbing up to the top rope much to everyone in the arenas surprise. The big man steadies himself and then performs an amazing shooting star press! At the last second however Bryan gets his knees up!!
Brock is rolling around holding his stomach in pain as Bryan just barely gets to his feet. He is in the corner holding the ropes to keep himself up but you can see the belief in his eyes as he starts YESing (and the crowd YES along with him) as Brock rises to a knee still trying to get his breath back and... BOOM! Bryan hits his running knee. "Make the pin dammit" screams Monsoon and no doubt every fan watching at home but instead Bryan locks in his yes Lock. The Beast is clearly struggling and Heenan runs to try and enter the ring to interfere but Monsoon stops him. Brock tries to reach out for the ropes but they are too far from him. He then tries to power his way out of the hold like earlier in the match but he no longer has the energy after the beating he has taken and Bryan keeps the hold locked in. The Beast lets out a loud scream (now having been held in this position for over a minute while blood trickles down his face after his cut was re-opened by the running knee) and then eventually gives up and taps!
There is stunned silence for a second and then the place erupts into celebration as the beast has been conquered and a new champion crowned!Winner:Daniel Bryan!Booking Explanation: Sending the fans home happy with a true Wrestlepalooza moment where the hero overcomes the beast. This is the draft so story line aside I have Bryan in his peak condition which despite the beating he took here is handy as now there would be a number of big matches on the horizon for him including vs the new no.1 contender Rick Rude or the inevitable rematch down the road (Summerslam maybe) vs Brock. No doubt the loss and Rude becoming no.1 contender would also create a storyline where there is much tension in the Heenan family between those two and we would most likely get a feud there eventually when one of them turns face. Much like with Kharma & Patterson earlier Bryan kinda had to get his payback here, you can't have people do what Lesnar and co did to him without getting their just desserts and Wrestlepalooza in front of 120,000 fans is where you do it.

Welcome to the BWA Raw pre-show!
Live from Gotham City, USA
Monsoon: Let's not get ahead of ourselves Brain I think Bounty Hunter still has another announcement to make!Monsoon is right as Bounty Hunter has not left the ring instead he took this opportunity to look around the arena as do the cameramen showing the world the diverse Gotham City crowd in attendance:
From The upper class aristocrats here many of whom have their butlers carrying signs in support of wrestlers such as Gorgeous George
The young children (Heenan suggests they are Orphans living on the street based on their clothing and suggests they may have sneaked into the arena as surely they couldnt afford tickets) cheering for the likes of Daniel Bryan, Sami Zayn & El Santo.
and Finally the big mix of as Heenan also puts it "reprobates" many leather clad or in unusual neon get ups most of which seem to be Brock Lesnar fans while the woman in this group mostly seem to want to see Rick Rude.
It is however none of these people that Bounty Hunter next introduces but Gotham's favourite son and the man who would be The Guest Host for tonights BWA Raw... none other than Bruce Wayne who gets a huge pop.
Bruce announces that He would be not only hosting tonights Raw but that Wayne industries has made an investment in the BWA (A deal he would sign into effect at the Royal Rumble). He then says that he also used his influence and pulled a few strings so that in a few weeks his good friend, The mayor of Quahog Adam West would host BWA Raw. He then also highlighted that he has heard rumours that Villains were planning a heist here tonight with The BWA World title the primary target and that this plus just how many of the movers and shakers in Gotham's society are in attendance meant that he personally has helped beef up security by ensuring that Batman would be in attendance tonight!
Then as this is still the Pre-Show for the first Raw of a new season he introduces as short video that highlights the past year in the BWA. Some of the things mentioned are as follows:CM Punk who won the World title in a triple threat at Wrestlepalooza V has held the title ever since but there have been rumblings that just like he did with the WWE, WECWF, MNG & UFC he might walk out on the company and that he has already been targeted by other promotions.
Supposedly he felt under appreciated by the company who he believed were more interested in paying big bucks to sign stars like Brock Lesnar or resign former BWA stars like Daniel Bryan than doing their most to keep him happy.
Speaking of Bryan there have been many rumors lately that He is contemplating retirement as the BWA doctors have refused to allow him to return to action after a serious of incidents.
How this might affect The Bella Twins including current BWA Womens champion Nikki Bella (and of course his wife Brie) who has been dominant in that division is anyone's guess.
Another dominant champion has been Gorgeous George who last never got his comeuppance against the man who used to idolize him Pat Patterson cheating to retain the IC title after in the build up using vile hateful homophobic terms towards Patterson. To this day Patterson has yet to get a rematch against the still Intercontinental champion.
The Video culminates in the recent weeks and the build to tonight as the Road to Wrestlepalooza will begin again showing how Bounty Hunter was sent on a mission to make trades in order to bring in even more top talent. It shows how Chris Benoit who had proven extremely unpopular on the house show circuit was traded for The Mexican Legend El Santo & The Patriarch of Guerrero family Salvador "Gory" Guerrero plus The man who debuts tonight Rick Rude. The other main trade highlighted was that of The Great Muta to the BWA but it is believed he won't be debuting tonight.
When the video ends we are brought backstage where we are informed the caped Crusader Batman is already on the case, questioning people about the apparent threat on the BWA title.
First he interrogates Killer KowalskiBatman: "I'm certain this is the first stitch in a large tapestry of crime and As I was told there was a Killer in here why not start there.
Kowalski: People just call me Killer, I train the new BWA wrestlers down in developmental.
Batman: "I've heard that song before Killer. And the last few bars are always the same - the criminal is always behind them.
Kowalski: What are you talking about Masked man?
Batman: "Out of the mouths of Boy Wonders oft-times come gems... and I heard from Robin today that you sir are unhappy in the BWA.
Kowalski: That does not mean I plan to steal the title, I just want a chance to compete which they won't let me do!
Batman: Fore-warned is fore-armed
Kowalski: huh, what?
Batman: I believe you Mr Killer but consider yourself warned should you try anything you will have the caped crusader to deal with.
We then cut away to an interview between BWA Intercontinental champion Gorgeous George and Josh Matthews.
Josh asks him if Batman has spoken to him yet and George says no suggesting there is no need for him to do so because why would he steal the BWA world title when anyone who has seen how dominant his reign as IC champion would know that he could win that title whenever he wanted to without resorting to theft. Josh wanted to question this ascertation but George interrupted him telling him to make sure that Batman didn't come looking to interview him either saying that he needed a full hour un-interrupted in his private floatation tank to help prepare himself to wrestle in the opening match of BWA Raw tonight.
Elsewhere we see Batman who is once again on the trail of information regarding the rumored attempt to steal the BWA title heading into a dressing roomIt turns out this dressing room is actually that of the BWE women and much to Batman's surprise he is now confronted by the sight of Nikki Bella from behind as she finishes putting on a very tight leather outfit.
Batman: aha Catwoman has returned to besmirch the name of our fair metropolis by pilfering the BWE title!
Nikki (turning around to face him): ha don't be silly Bat baby it's just me Nikki Bella, but what are you doing in the ladies dressing room while im getting changed, trying to sneek a peak are we?
Batman:Holy Strawberries... I've gotten myself in a Jam...Yes, I think I should be running along, Ms Bella. Uh, it wouldn't be proper for the two of us to be here alone in your dressing room without a chaperone."
Nikki Don't be silly you find me attractive don't you?
Batman: I'd find you much more attractive if you proved your on the right side of the law
Nikki: Well why don't you want to interrogate me then.
Batman: "I'll do everything I can to rehabilitate you."
Nikki: "In that case Marry me!"
Batman: Umm, Everything except that...A wife, no matter how beauteous or affectionate, would severely impair my crime-fighting.
Batman then quickly exits the room while Nikki Smiles to herself.
We return to ringside and to the BWA announcers who reveal the countdown clock to the first BWA Raw of the new season is down to the final 25 minutes. After this they are joined by Bruce Wayne who has a few pointed questions for the announce team
Wayne: So who do you think The caed crusader should confront next?
Monsoon: Batman should be out here talking to you Brain. If anyone is a cheat with an underhanded plan odds are it'd be you
Heenan: I might know a lot about cheating, I have had 6 very successful marriages after all but I don't have to steal anything.
Wayne: Really?
Heenan: Yeah my guys are good enough to win things for themselves.
Monsoon: Ok then who do you think should be next in line for a little Bat-interrogation... hold on to that thought
This conversation is halted by The arrival of the BWA's newest recent acquisition... Brock Lesnar who makes his way out for a sit down interview with Billionaire Bruce Wayne.
Bruce: So Mr Lesnar I'm What is it that has lead to you being the newest Superstar on the BWA roster
Brock: I'm not a superstar. I'm an ass kicker. I am Brock Lesnar. What brings me here is the same thing that makes me happy... Beating people up, the BWA just has a better standard of people to beat up (big smirk).
Bruce: So you believe the wrestlers here in the BWA will be a good challenge for you?
Brock: There isn't anybody in the BWA, past or present, that has the accolades that I've got. Nobody can challenge me. I don't feel pain, I inflict it!
Bruce (feeling a little uncomfortable): and what of your long time Advocate Brock Lesnar will he be joining you in the BWA?
Brock: Why? Am I not speaking well enough for you little man, did I not negotiate myself a good enough deal to come here. I am getting a title shot tonight on my first night in the company am I not?
Bruce: wow really I didn't know that, that's huge news Brock Lesnar 1on1 with CM Punk in the first BWA main event of the new season! Can you tell us what you expect from that match
Brock (rolls his eyes) : Maybe I do need a new mouthpiece so I don't have deal with nonsense like this... out of my way I have to prepare to take someone to suplex city.
Brock then pushes Bruce Wayne out of the way and gets out of the ring and heads to the back
The countdown clock once again re-appears on the screen (showing just 3 minutes) as we head backstage to where Batman is standing with Barry Horowitz
Horowitz: Hey Batman, I think I know the answer you've been looking for?
Batman: Great work Robin, give yourself a pat on the back![/center
Horowitz: I'm not your sidekick Batman.
Batman: "That's a negative attitude, Robin.... anyway what have you got for me?
Horowitz: check this out (horrowitz pulls out his computer and opens up the boards.ie PW page on the recent draft)
Batman: Holy Rip Van Winkle Robin! They don't just plan to steal the title, they plan to steal the champion!

So essentially it's asking you to choose from the best currently wrestling today with a few legends thrown in there. Is there an old timer still going in the indies you want. It should be noted that this rounds order will be reversed in Rd 2 so don't worry if you got a low draw this round Rd2 will have just as many big names in it.
Also traditionally there are 20 entrants so if you are still interested pop in here add your name to the list and you will be added to the round order 18,19 or 20 assuming you do so before the round is over.
After the currently active wrestlers in rd1, now we have definitely inactive ones this as we try to make this true
In this round you can only pick wrestlers who have died in the past 20 years! So anyone who passed on since Jan 1st 1996
Just for this round the pre 1970s debut date is not in effect.and here is the poster order for Round 2:

Usually it's around this round when all the ladies start to be taken so will that start a rush on the Divas and Knockouts in the next round, will you change your plans no that you wont be taking a Diva and go for a bigger name male competitor than you may have in a later round now, or will this not affect your planned picks at all!
As you can see the leader of NO MA'AM has had a change of heart and Divas can be picked again
To make up for his organizations ruling in rd7 and in order to as Al puts it avoid another round like a Bud Bundy party aka "a total sausage fest" he has stated that no drafter can draft 2 men at one time this roundand here is the poster order for Round 8:

So no male tag teams can be picked this round but the ladies are once more available for selection. Again you would wonder does that mean we will see a rush on tag teams in round 9? and will we be seeing a whole load of lovely ladies going this round.
In case Your worried I can also let you know the next round will not have a stip that will limit who you can choose to draft.
All the Ladies have left Al and he is sorry that he made drafting harder the last two rounds after all he is a true old school wrestling fan
for that reason before leaving Draft HQ he not only said that Tag teams are eligible again and that from now on there is no tag team limit on a roster but also that from this round on wrestlers who debuted pre 1970 eligible too.and here is the poster order for Round 9:

This round coincides with the opening of the evaluation thread and the start of write ups and one thing you need when writing a show is...
In this round after you make your pick as normal pick and post a number between 1-20 (which hasn't already been chosen), that number will equate to an enhancement talent that'll be added to your roster.and here is the poster order for Round 10:

20. Shagnastii
In this round you are asked to not only think about your own roster but that of your fellow drafters
In this round you will First make your own draft pick then make a pick to add to the poster before you in the draft orders roster. So no.1 makes their own pick and picks for no.20s roster also, no.2 will pick for no.1 and so on... No.20 picks for theirs and adds to no.19s rosterand here is the poster order for Round 12:

So be nice when you give to others because the person picking after you decides what you will get, give someone a jobber and I wouldn't expect the next person will put huge thought into who compliments your roster.
Ps I know some might say at this later stage round order is less of a deciding factor but since a lot of potential pick will go in this round before we get to people with a low number the next round will be a reverse order round! So if you just got drawn no.1 (PTH) you will be no.20 in rd 13 or if you got no.20 (TBC) you will be no.1 in rd13 and so on.
Still to pick:
16. LordTSC
17. SlickRic
18. Imnotthehulk
19. DM7
20. Thebostoncrab
Are there any wrestlers out there that would love to be drafted to your prmotion but they just don't know the answer to this question
Well now you can tell them... Yes From this round onward all wrestlers are eligible, no matter what promotion they have wrestled in previouslyand here is the poster order for Round 13: which of course was a reverse order of rd12

so if for instance you really want some guy who only ever appeared in our local Irish Whip Wrestling...now you can draft them
Are you like these people? (below) if so this is the round for you
Only In this round, If you wish to do so (don't have to) you can bend the rules and there are a number of ways in which you can, but... you can only choose 1
1) If you don't already have a celeb on your roster you can take one in this round.
2) You can choose a tag team that has a world champion in it.
3) You can make another trade during this round if youve already met the limit.
4) If you regret an earlier pick you can return them to the available pool of talent (you didn't pick your EH stip guy) and choose a replacement along with your normal pick.and here is the poster order for Round 14:
....
....
....
....
Despite all the options I would say most will probably treat this as a normal round and not use the stip but I would imagine there are def some loopholes and smart moves to be found given those options[/b]
It's the final round and it's time to make amends to those who got screwed by the random draw and in proper PW style we will do so with a fast food advert image to illustrate the stip
in this round the draft order was determined based on lowest average order in the game so far first and when you pick in this round you can make 2 picks at once

Welcome to BWA Raw!
Live from Gotham City, USAAfter the credits but before we go live to the arena we get a quick recap of what happened on the Pre-Show including the introduction of the new BWA announce team of Bobby "The Brain" Heenan and Gorilla Monsoon and that Gotham's own Bruce Wayne Was the guest host tonight while Batman was following up on the rumour that someone was looking to steal the BWA title here tonight/
All the lights in the arena are off again as we go to air, No Pyros no anything. just then a large spotlight appears in the center of ring just as it had on the pre-show. THe spotlight suddenly changes to The Bat signal however and then a few seconds later the lights in the arena return with Bruce Wayne standing exactly where the spotlight had been. The Gotham crowd pop hard for this with some chanting Wayne Wayne, others chanting Gotham, Gotham but eventually *BWA**BWA**BWA**BWA* becoming the most prominent.
Bruce: You've all heard the rumors by now...The Champ CM Punk, who won the title as part of the Wrestlepalooza V triple threat main event, has supposedly signed a contract with a new federation to be their marquee name. The rumor goes they were willing to offer more money than the WWE who believed they offered a fair amount for someone who after their new talent acquisitions in the 2016 draft may no longer be their top name
Bruce (continues): and yes it looks like undesirable elements have once again infiltrated the manly art of self-defense but thanks to my good friend Batman I have found out the culprit. Twas those dastardly fellows at WECWF whom actually orchestrated the whole thing. I should have known that no start up promotion could have the type of money to tempt the BWA champion away. That said before we set brain and sinew to this perplexing case, let's review all the facts. There has been a world title match set for tonights main event and their plot may be foiled before coming to fruition as before leaving the company CM Punk will face off one on one vs...
Rick Rude comes out interrupting Wayne. There is a surprisingly large amount of boos for the debuting superstar. Perhaps that is just because of who he interrupted but either way he is clearly annoyed by this but continues as normal
Rude: "What I'd like to have right now is for all you high-rollin' Gotham City sweathogs, keep the noise down while I take my robe off and give the ladies a good look at the sexiest man alive"
he then proceeds to strip off to his tights while the fans boo even more.
Rude: Get out of here (to Bruce Wayne who obliges), these people already know and the people at home all watch the BWA pre-show so they too know that it's CM Punk vs Brock Lesnar later tonight even though it should be the Ravishing one. that said I still feel good and I look even better. After all I make a burlap sack look like a cashmere sweater and up next I face a champion myself, The Intercontinental champion Gorgeous George.
The Gorgeous one vs The Ravishing one no better way to kick off the new season of BWA Raw... and after I defeat him you will be looking at the undisputed sexiest champion in all of wrestling.
This was supposed to be my moment, my time to shine and not only is the match ruined by interference but those fans have the audacity to boo me... me! I went out of my way to secure a trade to this promotion and for what boos!
We return from that blockbuster announcement just in time for this main event level tag team match up
BWA Tag team title match: The Brainbusters (Arn Anderson & Tully Blanchard) vs Jack & Gerry Brisco
Winners: The Brainbusters
After the match the victors quickly head to the back while Jack does his best to console Gerry about their loss but he clearly believes that he cost his team the tag team their opportunity at the titles and is struggling with that fact.
Bria: nah Babe we want to talk about this (stroking the womans title over her sisters shoulder) and just wanna apologize to the entire Bella Army cos you won't be seeing Nikki defending it or the two of us at the Royal Rumble .
Nikki: (mimics crying) boo hoo, seems We have scared off all the women even Ronda Rousey (was in the BWA last year) in the BWA and there is nobody brave enough to face us... oh well!
We return to ringside just as the crowd sing along with the entrance of [b}Sami Zayn[/b]
Sami Zayn vs Matt Borne
Winner: Sami Zayn
After the match we get a preview for the upcoming BWA Royal Rumble PPV and when we return Daniel Bryan makes his way out to the ring YES'ing all the way out and as usually getting a great reaction and an almighty pop. He says he will address his health situation but first wants to show a short video that he was just shown in the back about his time in the BWA. This actually Chronicles his rise from working in small gyms for often less than a hundred people all the way to when he became the BWA champion.(a few years back in the draft he headlined BWA Wrestlemania vs HHH and won the title before he did similar in real life)
As that video ends he thanks the crowd who are once again yessing at the final scene of him with the world title in hand and then addresses the elephant in the room."Okay yes, it's been well documented that I've had some serious injuries and that there were some serious concerns with regards my history of concussions and that as a result I've essentially had to sit out the past year as the BWA doctors refuse to clear me. My own doctor says my injuries have healed but the company being so reticent to let me step back in the ring has honestly made me start to contemplate my future."
"After reaching such heights here in the BWA I don't think I could see myself wrestling anywhere else... even the meer thought of being in a promotion such as MNG or WECWF truely makes my stomach churn.
It is a very touching moment and you can clearly see the crowds response getting to Bryan a little bit when the announcers and the crowd are both silenced by the unexpected sound of...Brock Lesnar's music
There is real concern for his wellbeing and as we go to commercial everyone is frantically trying to help Bryan. That is except for Lesnar who is laughing maniacally in the ring.
As we return from the break footage is shown of Daniel Bryan being helped out of the arena on a stretcher with his distraught wife Brie Bella by his side as we are told he has been brought to a local medical facility.
Our attention is then brought back to the ring where Brock Lesnar is waiting still as tonights main event is announced as being for the BWA World heavyweight title and BWA World Heavyweight champion CM Punk makes his way out, if rumours are to be believed, for the last ever to a BWA ring.
Main Event: World Heavyweight title match - CM Punk (c) vs Brock Lesnar
The two former Heyman guys really go at it as an incredible pace in this one with Punk surprisingly on top as it kicks off constantly evading Brock and catching him with several stinging kicks.
For a moment it looks like they are going to square up to Brock Lesnar but then they start laying into the downed CM Punk including Arn & Tully delivering their double team finisher The Spike Piledriver on him before Bobby Heenan who is now in the ring literally kicks Punk out of the ring and out of the BWA. Haku & The Barbarian who just arrived at ringside pick him up and literally dump him over the barricade before joining the others in the ring.
As the show ends The final image you see is Brock Lesnar flanked on one side by Rick Rude, Arn Anderson & Tully Blanchard and the other by Haku & The Barbarian and Heenan as he liftts the BWA World Heavyweight title aloft while Gorilla Monsoon screams about how he has joined The Heenan Family and how this is bad news for everyone in the BWA posing the question how could anyone defeat The Beast now?

Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the 2015 PW Draft!
The aim of this game is to create a fantasy roster over the next few weeks and months, and then put together a fantasy card in which you describe how you'd book the line-up you have assembled.
This is the thread in which the 20 lucky members who signed up will make their draft picks. While the rules are all listed below, I'd like to remind people that most rounds will be random, though some will see picks organized based on particular factors (order of the last round, overall average order, etc).ALL DISCUSSION SHOULD GO >>>HERE<<<
Any requests to be placed on the substitution list, in case anyone drops out, should go >>>HERE<<<
NOTE: As an act of courtesy, we ask that after a player has made their pick for the draft, they check the list to see who is next and send them a friendly PM reminder, so as to keep things flowing smoothly.
The rules are as follows (It's advised new players read over these rules, but are also highly encouraged to ask questions if there is any confusion).Draft Order
The order people make their picks is decided at random, via a completely unbiased List Randomizer website. There will be two rounds in which the drawing order will not be random. These will be made clear at the start of those two rounds.
Tag Teams:
Tag Teams come as a package so for example if you want the Dudleys then you don't have to pick Bubba one round and then D-Von the next. The rules for tag teams are as follows:
- Cannot have a world champion in them ie no DX or Hart Foundation
- Must have tagged together for at least 3 months
- Inter gender tag teams not allowed
- Members of factions, ie Saturn and Malenko, are not deemed valid picks as they are not classed as legit tag teams under the criteria for the game.
- 5 tag teams is the maximum amount of teams for each roster
World Titles:
World titles are considered as the following:
WWE, World Heavyweight Title/WCW, TNA, NWA and IWGP world championship
(Note: For the benefit of the game as a whole and to reflect the realistic loss in prestige of the NWA Title, only holders of the NWA Title up until the WCW World Championship came into use will be regarded as World Champions for the purposes of the game. )
Eligible Promotions:
WWE, TNA, ROH, NJPW, anything historically going under the NWA banner.
Time Frame:
No professional debuts pre 1970 are eligible. There will be a round for pre 1970 picks. There will also be a celeb round where celebs who have appeared on wrestling TV are elibible for picks.
- To determine wrestler debuts we will use Wikipedia as in previous years. If you feel the Wikipedia entry is incorrect you can PM me or one of the mods to state your case.
- people who would be considerd Celebs more so than wrestlers are only eligable to be drafted in the special celeb round and not in any other round
- Dark matches and try out matches will not be valid cases this year for selecting a wrestler.
- Managers and female wrestlers are eligible if people wish to pick them. Commentators have not been included in recent years.
Trades:
Trades are allowed from a certain round (will be announced) onwards but you are limited it 5 trades each. When a trade occurs it's superstars your trading, not goes in the draft, so you must be able to make the draft pick before they are eligable to be drafted, i.e all normal rules such as 5 tag team picks limit are still in effect.
Trades may be vetoed by those running the game in order to ensure a fair balance is maintained. However, this is extremely unlikely to occur for the vast majority of trades, and will only be discussed in situations where there is suspicion of other matters influencing the game.
Stip rounds:
We've got a few stipulation rounds lined up. Make sure to read each carefully, and if you're unsure what you're meant to do, ask in the discussion thread and verify your pick with an organiser.
Missed Picks
The draft runs under a 24 Hour rule. In other words, you have 24 hours to make your pick from the moment the person prior to you has made theirs. This will be enforced so as not to slow down the game. If you think you are going to miss your window, PM someone a list of who you'd like and they can make your pick for you. Should you miss your window, your pick will be pushed back to the end of that round.
Note - Rules may be amended during the contest to help run the game smoother if it's felt this is necessary but we will aim to ensure everyone is kept up to date if this has to happen
