Does anyone know about this race? I can't locate a website, just the entry link in Run Ireland.

    Found this online :

Missed the deadline for the Frank Duffy, so might do this instead.

Both of these routes are quite hard and have off road sections in them. They will however provide you with some of the most seanic running you will ever do.

    Half Marathon Route

    10K Route

    Note the climbs and decents.

Red indicates road/trail section. Green is off road/XC sections. Yellow indicates beach part of the run. Depending on the tide you might have to cross a stream or a river you may get wet.

Just signed up for this 10k run... I'm a beginner! Hope I'm able for it! Looks and sounds tough.... anyone else doing it?

Yeah I'm thinking of dropping by and doing this, won't decide until almost the day itself...it all depends on the weather

Yeah it might be pretty miserable alright which would make things a lot harder! Have you ever done it before? I need to start training for it properly... I've been a bit lazy lately, hoping signing up for this will give me a kick up the ass :)

No I've never done this, in fact I dont even know where it is but will be travelling from Mayo to Kerry that day so can drop by get a Christmas/New Year 10k in while I'm at it. It's good to stretch the legs during a long drive

It's located in the Burren Triangle of Doolin, Ballyvaughan and Lisdoonvarna. God yeah Mayo to Kerry will be some trek... the run will definitely keep you awake for the drive! Best of luck :)
