Skateboard Park in Galway City?

Hi Heading over to Galway city for the holidays on Monday Just wondering if there is a skateboard park in Galways to entertain my son. ? He wants to bring his skateboard but couldnt find anything on the web to say there is one in Galway ? Thank you .

There's two parks with skateboard facilities:
Millennium Children's Park on University Road beside Galway Catherdral

There is actually a pretty big skatepark out in Roscam as well, I notice that alot of them have popped up since I was a young lad when all the skaters used to meet at the Spanish Arch

Are any of them good for taking photos (e.g. people doing good/big moves rather than the usual that you see- someone skating from a to be, trying to jump off the ground and that's it).
