Yesterday the red wire on my friend's 8.4V battery managed to come out and I might try to put it back into place but I'm just wondering what is the required tools and I do really need answers A.S.A.P.

    Here of some pictures:

If you can see the small red ring that is where the red wire goes.

It needs to be soldered back in place, so I guess you need a soldering iron

Check first to make sure buying a soldering Iron is not more expensive than
    buying a new Battery! :D

Even if I do fix this battery I'll still have to buy a new battery! HAD a 9.6V 1600MAH that I just bought about a month ago. One day I was firing in my A.P.S. ASR 103 for only about five minutes, airsoft rifle stopped, check to see if the battery was low on power, dropped the battery onto my hand (Nun-chuck) and it was like a thousand degrees hot, battery connectors melted into the airsoft rifle's connectors and the plastic that holds the batteries together melted a good bit.

And when it comes to soldering, well I have a uncle who is a mechanic so I all right there. Thank God...
