Just bought the Corsodyl toothpaste and OMG is it bad!!!!!

Does anybody know if its any good?

I had a problem with my gums before and i floss with those little furry wire things. Just wondering, i'll do whatever is necessary to keep my teeth and gums the best they can be. Have no problem at the moment.

Corsoyl toothpaste has a very strange taste but it i assure you, if you can force yourself to use it for a few weeks, after a while it actually begins to taste pretty ok.
As a toothpaste, it seems to work really well if have gum problems

The mouth wash is excellent if you have mouth ulcers (and doesn't taste anywhere near as 'unusual' as the toothpaste.

Corsodyl toothpaste contains chlorhexadine as its active ingredient. This is specific for gum disease rather than tooth decay.

However, corsodyl is quite strong and is not advisable to be used long term.

In particular chlorhexadine has a property called substansitivity which means that it lingers on the teeth for many hours.

If you drink tea or coffee corsodyl will cause brown staining on teeth if used long term.
