Iphone on new computer

    Hi

    Looking for some help, I got an iPhone 4 recently and set it up originally on my gf's laptop. NOw I've got myself a new desktop and would like to be able to control the content of the iphone from that.
    The iphone is telling me that if I were to sync to a new machine I will lose data, does this mean the contents of my itunes library? (thats fine) or does that also mean my apps (not fine), I dont want the iphone effectively reset to factory settings.
