The penal colony

I think its time to reintroduce the penal colony. Get an island somewhere and ship all the scummers with a string of convictions out away from decent people.

This revolving door prison thing is just serving to train criminals to be better criminals by locking them up with more criminals and then let back into society to get up to their old tricks. Few months here and few months there, suspended sentence after suspended sentence and you end up with hardened scum filling up your communities.

If you dont have a job, dont want a job, have no respect for other people or the law and have proven this with countless convictions for various crimes. Then out ya go, your not wanted, needed or have no right to exist in this society. Up to me I'd hang the fúckers but a lot of people feel this is wrong. So rather than kill anyone you ship them off to live their filthy little lives tormenting, robbing and killing each other.

Just as happened in the UK when you leave these things to fester society gets infected. Filth will breed like rats and before ya know it the place will be on fire. Should these people want to behave like animals they can do so well away from decent people. Should they want to live here and be a decent person then they will make an effort knowing that if they slip they get an extended holiday to scummersville.

We have a good few of unpopulated islands . Lets get some use out of them and turn them into prisons for violent criminals, sex offenders and peadofiles. Make our own alcatraz. If they escape they'll most likely drown.

Once established you could take prisoners from other countries. Countries would save on paying welfare, putting them up in jail four or five months of the year, all the expenses of lawyers and judges putting them through the justice system every time they decide they wanna "fight the man". Set up a bunch of bikes making them produce electricity and sustain itself with power and your onto a winner.

State might eventually start to profit off of housing these people instead of charging the decent people to put em up. Some of the lesser offenders could act as unpaid guards. If they do a good job they are reintroduced to society once the sentence is up, if not they join the rest in the bike gangs.

End result less scum on the streets, less cost on the state to house the scum. Winner winner chicken dinner.
