Express bus Dublin-Cork

    I'm looking to get a bus from Dublin to Cork tomorrow but every route seems to stop in every town on the way. Does anyone know of an express/direct bus? Thanks :)

    None operate at present - Aircoach is the fastest service.

    Thanks lxflyer. Hard to believe no one provides a direct route. Think I'll look into the train!!

    it is rather ridiculous that no express service officially operate. that said, if you're in luck on the day bus eireann do operate an express service if a 2nd bus is needed due to the 1st bus being full, but it's the luck of the draw.

    got the bus to dublin a couple of months expecting the 5 hour drag through every hamlet only to get this unofficial express service that did it in a time quicker than the train. all for the same price as the regular fare :D

    The train tomorrow will cost €40 one way if booked online, all trains are currently showing €37 plus the booking and credit card charges but you may get a cheaper ticket in the booking office depending on the time you travel.

    Bus eireann charce €11.70 one way booked online and €19.80 for day or monthly return.

    Aircoach are €15 for single and €22 for a return
