    I really hope I can get help from someone who KNOWS EXACTLY what my problem is here, please read carefully I'm going nuts with this problem like.

    Here I go;

    What I'm trying to do: To get a PS1 "Mega" Memory Card to save PS1 games using the PS2 Console. (That isn't a problem at all. That, in itself, works perfectly fine)

    The problem: My PS2's browser recognizes the memory card fine. But I only have the capacity of a single PS1 memory card.

    I was told by the seller that this is a 24MB memory card (That's roughly 2400KB) with a maximum storage space of 360 Blocks as opposed to the original 15 blocks on a regular PS1 memory card.

    I am only getting 1MB = Max. 15 Blocks. On this.

    Now, I read it up, and it's saying that the "mega" memory cards have a small LED display that has a number of "pages" on the memory card. And to switch page, I have to hold one or two shoulder buttons on the controller and press start (the instructions were different for each memory card, I couldn't find one for mine). But I did all that I could and I'm just stupified now. Do I actually have to get myself a PSone console for this thing to work properly?

    Here is a picture of the memory card in it's packaging.

    Has anyone seen this kind of memory card before and is it possible to work on the PS2 console for PS1 games?

    maybe it will only work on the ps1 because its not a sony device.
    whoever made this wouldn't have made it considering the ps2.
    i would say you have to use it in a ps1.

    Is there a button on it anywhere? I have something similar for the Dreamcast, in that the console is only programmed to recognize 200 blocks at a time, but the memory card is 800, so there's a little button on the side of the card to switch 4 different of 200 block sets.

    Did a lot of digging and found the required hardware

    I found the card and put it into my ps2 , pressing L1 with select pressed is the method used to scroll the pages in the memory card. It doesnt work on the ps2. I set up the PS1 then and did the same thing and hey presto it worked. My card is only 2mb so only 2 pages on it . Sorry lad but its a ps1 Card you have it wont work on a ps2.
