can an irish aib lasercard be used in the uk

    Would I be able to use an irish pass machine card in the uk.

    If it's one of the "Maestro" or "Cirrus" cards, you'll be able to use it in ATMs.

    If it's a Visa Debit card you'll also be able to use it in shops the same way you'd use it here (I'm not if you could do that with the Maestro and Cirrus cards).


    EDIT: AIB's website says you can use their debit cards in any retailer that takes Maestro.

    Yes you can use AIB laser card. I travel regularly with work to UK and use it all the time.

    I was in London recently, and found that my lasercard AND credit card wouldn't work in any ATMs that were in supermarkets. Only the proper 'hole in the wall' ones worked.
    BTW I'm with BOI.

    Yes, the AIB banklink works in all ATMs in the UK. Works anywhere in Europe I've tried it actually!
