When it comes to issues of Grace and pre-destination (in my experience anyway) most Roman Catholics are molinists in that believe that God's Grace is available to anyway at anytime and that they just have to call on it. This differs though from the historic understanding of the vast majority of RCs in history. I found this a very helpful comparison between the teachings of St Thomas Aquinas and John Calvin on this issue. I hope that other people find it useful too.
