While not strictly for this forum, i came across this on the heap in the scrapper during the week and it got me thinking, will stuff like this ever reach classic status? This car is hardly 10/12 years old, not so environmentally friendly now is it?!!

In fairness, it could have been crashed, stolen, even just worn out by starship mileage..

But yeah, I don't know if a Prius will ever be a classic.

Those ones only had 12-15 years expected life in the batteries/electrical side of them or something though didn't they? Horrible looking yokes anyway good riddance to it. If the even made electric/hybrid cars actually look somewhat cool it'd be something, but they make them look odd

There was never many of those about anyway when new was there? Wonder what a battery pack costs to replace.

They may get old - but they'll never adorn my bedroom wall!

I wonder how much it costs to dispose of the battery pack?and what the enviromantal impact was of building it in the first place.

Aye. I remember a study calculating the total environmental pollution a car causes from the cradle to the grave so to speak and a Prius was more damaging than a Hummer. Try explaining that to Leonardo di Caprio at the Oscars :D

Didnt the jeep wrangler 4 litre come out somewhere really silly way nearer the top than you'd have thought?
