Just pulled this from another thread:
You need to make a list of the agencies (Assets, Morgan and 1st Option being the top in Dublin, and probably Ireland?) , and then equip yourself with two decent quality photos.

Photo one: Close up of head and shoulders - little or no make up - hair off face or behind shoulders - string top - taken on neutral background.
Photo two: Full body shot - simple clothes like jeans and string top/fitted tee - barefoot or flat shoes - same with hair and make up as above - neutral background.

Most agencies have an open day for what they call new faces, so bring along the pictures and dress well, to show off your body type and shape.

You do NOT need to pay someone to take these pictures, the agency will know by looking at the pics and at you in person. You just need a digital camera and get them printed.

Do NOT give any "agency" money for sign up/application/training. These are total scams.

You're not tall enough from catwalk, but there's always commercial work. Pop along to the open days.

Well, first of all, you have to have a " book ". Meaning, professional photos of you in different outfits and headshots also.
If you do not have a " book ", agencies will be quite reluctant to even consider your application.

I think Rozanna Purcell got spotted and entered the Ford Model Contest, I'm not sure if the contest is still in existance though. You might want to check that out.

Then, once you have a book, you can try to get in touch with different agencies, Assets being the leading one in Dublin.

You do not need professional photos to approach an agency. Waste of money. Get someone to take good quality photos of you on a neutral background, bring them to the agency new face days. They'll take it from there.

To quote Firstoption.ie How to be become a model
These should not be professional photographs, regular snapshots will sufffice but they must show your face and figure clearly.

Also you need accurate measurements, height, waist, hips, bust.
