Pigeons, How do you go about getting them?

    How does everyone go about shooting pigeons...?

    - Shot Size

    - Decoy Patterns

    - Type of land

    - Type of crop they feed on


    Looking for some info as I wanna shoot some pigeons with a friend.

    All info much appreciated...

    hey there fella i was out there in sunday on rape stubble shot over 150 or so then they love wheat really nice also oats and finally barley and in relation to patterns the most simplist is a horse shoe shape like a big U shape facing into the wind more info please pm me

    Cheers for that...

    All the fields I have permission on, the wheat and barley still hasnt been cut yet so how do i go about decoying them without ruining the crops?

    Wait till it is cut or whats the best way of doing it?

    they are called bouncers tehy put the pigeons well up in the air or even bamboo with the shells on top still in a u shape i do it all the time
