    Hi guys,
Just wondering can I get a hand setting up my TV for Saorview. I've tried and failed at it for nights, and can't seem to figure it out.
The TV model is a Samsung LE32B652 (think it's a 2009 model, but it's confirmed working with MPEG 4 & MPEG 5 in the sticky :)

I'd appriciate the help since I'm a total newbie when it comes to television (Phones are my forté;))

BTW living only a few KM away from Tonabrucky so signal should not be an issue.

Point your Aeriel to Maghera in Co Clare and your off.

I checked the Saorview coverage checker from Dangan in Galway, right beside Tonabrucky and it says to go with Maghera See Here

    Perhaps Tonabrucky isn't transmitting Saorview

On the last page under step 5, select digital as the channel source.

And ensure Ireland is the selected country :)

Sound lads, I'm going to get killed for saying this, but even though the TV has the MPEG 4 tuner, do I need an aerial? :L

If I do, I'm going to be eejit of the year on boards!

Yes, you will need an aerial! Face Palm!!

A UHF one, and point it towards Maghera in Co Clare! You'll get them handy enough in Woodies or Maplin!

Wait till ya get set up and you see the GAA and Rugby world cup in HD on your new telly! A refreshing change of actually being able to see the Sliotar if your're a hurling man.

    Best of Luck!
