    You would require a monster dish to get Nilesat in Ireland.

    Yea I know just wondering if anyone here has a big anough dish 1.8 metre I think

    Give it a bash - I remember when they showed epl on nilesat people said even a 2.4m wouldnt pick it up in Ireland.

    looking at the channels available on that transponder, at least 5 or 6 are available on 26 east including Abu Dhabi Sports 1.

    it can be picked up with a 1m dish but its bad in rain. a 1.2 or bigger would have fairly constant reception.

    lyngsat has a full list of channels.
