Can anyone suggest somewhere in Dublin to buy Monkfish fillets? Any idea how much it is per kilo?

    Thanks.

Try Kish on Bow Street, Fallon & Byrne, or there's a fish counter inside the Asian shop by the Abbey Street Luas.

The Good fish company in Dundrum regularly stock it, as do Fenelons in Stillorgan.

    Its sometimes hard to find.

Its about 30-35 a kilo I think at the moment.

If you're buying it from a fishmonger, make sure they take off the outer membrane from the fillet. Otherwise it'll turn grey, wrinkly, and tough when you cook it
