Now that the end of the season is here thought it might be an idea to set up a thread to compile a list of all confirmed and rumoured athletes that are heading to the US/UK on scholarship. Given our tradition in athletics associated with athletes heading over to the US this still is a very attractive option for our talented young athletes

    Confirmed Athletes
    Anthony Lieghio > Arkanasa
    Tomas Cotter > Wichita University

    Rumoured athletes
Brendan O Neill > FSU (heard this on Lets Run but not sure if any credibility regarding eligibility after finishing college in DCU)

I heard Jake Byrne of Mullingar is going to Iona and Sligo's Tommy Casey is going to Oklahoma. Also, Killian Barry is going to Texas Tech.

Shane Quinn is off to Providence in Rhode Island.

Fiona McKenna (DSD) gone to Iowa Central. After successes of Cotter and Leighio there could encourage a regular link between the community college and Irish athletes
