Quicktime problem

    Hope im in the right place.

    Accidently deleted quicktime and now my itunes wont work. I want to know if i can re-install it without upgrading my itunes as i have an old ipod and when this happened to a friend of mine he upgraded the itunes and the ipod wasnt recognised.

    Any help guys?
