    hey all,

As the title syas. I have my HTPC freeSAT system running now for about 3 years with now problems. I have noticed that Channel 5, Film4, BBC 3 & BBC 4 have vanished. They are coming up on the EPG ok but once selected windows MCE states that there is no reception?! They where working fine last week but this week they are MIA....

Have tried rescanning with no joy. Running Windows 7 MCE with DVBS2 sat card (Huppuage).

    Anyone else having this trouble?

    Thanks in advance.

weird, you'd think one of them would work and a re-numbering the one that works would solve it.

As horrific as it sounds you may have to do a database wipe and re-load all the channels and re-sort them using guide tool.

Agreed, just cannot understand it. Will wipe the database tonight and see what happens. Will update.

Proper way to do it is by opening a command prompt and typing :

    C:\Windows\eHome\mcupdate.exe -MediaCenterRecoveryTask

Give it a min or two to run and then then reboot your PC

When it comes back you wil have to re-do tv setup. Onc ethat done do a full transponcder scan twice and then do your channels in guidetool

    5 hours later and still no joy. Rebuilt/rescanned everything both DVBT & DVBS (2). BBC3, BBC4, film4 (+1), channel 5 all unwatchable.

All show in the scan but when select to watch mc7 tells me channel is either off the air or adjust antenna? ! Completely stumped!!
