Lenovo - International Warranty - Any experiences?

    Hi,

    I am purchasing a second hand laptop and it is a lenovo.
    It has a International warranty until october 2013 (chedcked serial number on line).
    The warranty originated in France.

    The seller is providing me with the original invoice for this laptop.
    I am going to travel to south east asia for ~5 months with this laptop.


    Plus my girlfriend is French, so she can show her passport with the invoice and say that the she received the laptop as a gift from uncle etc...

    Has anybody any experiences with Lenovo's IWS (will i be able to get the laptop fixed in SE Asia service centres?) ... based on the above details.
