had my scaffold done nearly 3 months piercer said 3 weeks to heal its my second one the other one closed up had it about a year with no issues and healed quick enough
this morning i woke up with a big blister on the outside of the ear one on each end
also on the inside for few weeks now little lumps have been forming around
so this morning i went the doctor and he said it looks infected and gave me antibiotics to clear up the blisters so im wondering how do you get rid of the other lumps inside the piercing there like hard lumps of skin
has anyone had this issue before iv read online its kinda common but how to you get rid of them

    here are some pictures

It's a keloid, not an infection. Antibiotics wont do a thing for it. Some people get them, some don't.

Also i'd recommend educating your doctor, it's pretty basic scarring, not something completely new and unheard of. They should have known what this was straight away.

I scalpeled mine, but i do not recommend this to anyone. I was working as a piercer at the time and knew what i was doing and the risks involved. Again do not do this.

It could be pressure from the bar has caused the callogen to overgrow, take out the scaffold bar and replace it with two shorter bars so there's no torque on you ear for the moment and see how that goes.

After that if nothing happens, surgery may be required

the one on the top my ear is very soft and has oozed a bit of puss there bout half hour ago could that be an infection by any chance?
as the ones inside the ear are hard and i seen them coming along and have not got any bigger but this thing kinda came out of no where i woke to some blood on the pillow and looked in the mirror to see a big bubble on it

The blood and the oozing doesn't sound too good, but bear in mind cartilage can take up to six months to heal fully. Same with belly button piercings in fact, 6-9 months.

Go back to cleaning it with saline solution, with clean hands as if it was a fresh piercing, it may have gotten caught in bedclothes during the night and agitated it, which is probably the most likely cause. Again I'd suggest replacing the single bar with two smaller ones to relieve pressure on the area.

Without actually seeing the piercing i wouldn't be able to tell you much more to be honest. Go to a reputable body piercing studio and ask them to have a quick look. Any decent studio will have no problems telling you whats going on with it. Infections are failrly rare in piercings nowadays, and they are normally incredibly painful to the touch.

    Good luck

Actually, it is hypertrophic scar. Keloids are extremely rare and much more serious.

Go to a piercer and get them to put two bars in. I would literally leave it completely 100% alone, like don't even touch it with cotton wool buds, ever. I had one of these bumps on my piercing for about 3 months before - they're pretty stubborn (and common) so try not to think about it.

    Happy healing.

Also try chammomile tea as well. Make a mug of chamommile tea and let the tea bag cool down a bit so it' not boiling hot but warm. Then hold it against the piercing for 5-10 mins. Do this once or twice a day and it should help get rid of the bumps. I currently have one on my scaffold and they can be a pain to get rid of.

No, read the advice above. Under no circumstances should you try to 'pop' it.
