scaffold piercing lumps/bumps/blisters...?

had my scaffold done nearly 3 months piercer said 3 weeks to heal its my second one the other one closed up had it about a year with no issues and healed quick enough
this morning i woke up with a big blister on the outside of the ear one on each end also on the inside for few weeks now little lumps hav been forming around it also
this morning i went doctor he said it looks infected and gave me antibiotics to clear up the blisters im wondering how to you get rid of the other lumps inside the piercing there like hard lumps of skin
has anyone had this issue before iv read online its kinda common but how to you get rid of them
