Yea, Don't know if I'd be able to leave it there! Some guy, Threr's rumours that he's been offered €130000.00 from Toyota for their museum! Nice investment if it's true!

I'd be so tempted to drive it... to see what a brand new one drove like.... so tempted. Really cool to see a totally preserved, unrestored car from 20 plus years ago though

Maybe im alone on this one but why would you buy a car and never drive it:confused:

I know you could say its an investment etc but surely you would want to know how it drives and appreciate it. Like the Sulatan of Brunei is rumored to be selling some of his amazing collection of cars some of which have only original factory mileage on them. I sure as hell know if I could afford an Enzo id have to drive it.

Because the Sulatan of Brunei probably has three Enzos, one for the weekly commute, one for the weekend and the third for investment purposes!

He probably also has a fourth one to drive when the other one is dirty and needs a clean....

I hope that lad never sells it , Its lovely to look at in its pristine condition, must be the only AE86 left in the world that hasnt been modified by a member of the 'gangster leaning in burbery hats' crew.

I really never liked the AE86 but have to admire this guy for keeping one in pristine order and even the plastic on the seats.

Don't tink after this long that he will do something stupid! He has something special and will prob sell to Toyota! It is the lowest mileage one in the world! I say fair play to him!

    Amazing!

If anyone drives it once its ruined tho:eek: it would no longer be unique...
Citroen have a private collection which has all their racing/rally cars (used) but also most of the road cars they ever produced. The road cars were transported directly to the collection, never used!! Or so the rumour goes anyway, its a secret private collection so nobody really knows for sure...

Just had to go clean meself after that  That Lotus powered wide boy looks class!
Just thinking tho, what brand new car that's at Twincam level of money back in the day! So roughly about €20000 shall we say of todays money would be worth buying and putting away so people can look at it in 20 years and say class? I'm finding it hard to think of something that will be so special at that price!

I rekon you'd have to get something nice to start off with. I mean had this guy bought a normal saloon corolla nobody would be getting overly excited...

Its kinda hard to guess what will have a cult following in 20 years time, thats the tricky part!

What about an FE86 when it comes out? Won't be 20k though. For that money I'd be thinking small and sporty. But 20k wont get a lot. 500 Arbarth? Something VAG will always have a following.

What about an M car? Something with a limited run like the 1M?

I'd be putting my money on a 500 Abarth, DS3 racing or even a Focus ST. Anything top of the range for what it is really, or a limited run of cars.

A 1M for sure, but how much do they cost new?
I know all the cars I listed are more than €20k, but surely a 1M is €50k or €60k when/if it comes to Ireland.

I suppose something really special like a factory fresh F1 might command a premium to a certain buyer too.

1M would be a bit more than 60k I'd imagine. Just stood out as a limited run car.

    I think it's fair to say a factory fresh 156 GTA doesn't:D
