Vodafone Pay As You Go HTC Wildfire for €229.99 really good phone and if you're on a budget I'd recommend the Sony Ericsson X8 Xperia for €119.99. My boss gave me one of them for work and it's much much better than I would have expected

    ZTE Blade

Just been superseded by the ZTE Skate or Orange Monte Carlo as they're calling it. £160. Expect to see loads of them on ebay in the next few weeks.

Given the specs and the relatively low price it's bound to be a new scene favourite.

ah fair enough I forgot :p
    Did they discontinue the Blade?

hard to do better than the SanFran Orange IMO.
    1) 120 ish euro
    2) 3 minutes to debrand it and install new ROM.

    superb value.

To debrand the San Francisco /Blade means to remove the orange software

have they gotten rid of the euro/sterling ?

;) the op is looking to purchase with squid ??? lol ;)

OP - goto adverts or donedeal and have a look there for a decent 2nd hand smartphone - you might be lucky.

you get an orange sanfran ( in norn iron or britain ).
its preloaded with rubbish orange software and locked into their network.
you get rid of this rubbish and unlock it.
you put on new software ( faster / better / stronger than ever before ).
use your phone on any network as its unlocked.
