gave incorrect passport name, is this serious?

    i have booked a holiday to spain with 3 friends and when required to give details a few months ago, I gave my name without my middle name. Looking at my passport a few days ago, it has the first and middle name stated. Would this cause any problems? A friend of mine says it may but didn't tell me any more. I'm due to fly out on the 26th. Surely this wouldn't take long to fix?? I hope i've posted in the right forum.

    Don't worry you will be fine, as long as your first name and surname are ok that's all that matters.

    As long as your first name and last name are correct you will be fine. They never check the middle names!
