Project Dune Legacy (Dune 2 fan remake) gets multiplayer

For those that remember playing the most ancient (in gaming terms) and venerable Dune 2, there's a chance to do it all again and ruin the memories you had of this game. It must be old enough to have a bright rosy light shining brightly from it, although now you can select multiple units!

It looks like you need the original game which you can patch up with the fan remake, I'll be dusting off my blue Amiga Dune 2 disks and crossing my fingers later.

As if anybody is going to have an original copy. I presume it's freeware at this stage anyway and a copy will be bundled with the mod.

I remember those harkonnen devestators were awesome, and the rocket defence turrets being insanely overpowered, and infantry was completely useless, still it's the granddaddy of all them RTS's and was great fun in its day.
