Golfshot lite is free, records your score and stats, calculates your hc,stats on fir and gir, penalties ect,you can then send to their site and have a record of all rounds played. The full app is 26 quid or so but looks the biz, calculates distance to green from your position, all the usual stuff that a range finder thingy would have. Even the free version is worth having,if only to know what clubs you used on a particular hole and how you got on,overall an excellent app.

Yea, it's kind of revived my interest in the game. I gave my self an 18HC when I got it,It's since gone up by 0.2:rolleyes: but I can look at each score I had by hole and try to beat it on any course I play, which tbh, shouldn't be too difficult giving the scores I've had.:D

For those of you with Blackberry's rather than iPhone......anybody downloaded the nRange golf app? It's free (catch is that if you want to use it on more than 3 courses, you must go to the paid version).
I've read a lot of positive reviews on it, but haven't used it on the course yet as there was very few Irish courses mapped.
However I emailed them with the links to two courses I play (Edmondstown and South County) and they've just replied to say they'll be mapped in the next 48 hours, which I thought was pretty good service for a free app.

Will let you know how I thought it worked once I have used it
