I have to drive to Malaga, so I'm wondering if anyone has a recommended route/ferry combination?

    Rosslare -Roscoff or Cherbourg

    To Uk - France
    To Uk - Spain

    Any ideas?
    Thanks

Have a look at the RAC route planner. http://www.rac.co.uk/route-planner/

You can check out the different routes, fastest or the shortest etc.

    That's a heck of a drive! Good luck! :)

Sounds like punishment. What about that ferry that goes from England to the north of Spain?

Ferry to pembroke make your way to plymouth and get the ferry to santander. Drive to Malaga straight down the center takes a day, about 10-12 hours depending on if your gunning it. Not cheap trip between ferry costs juice and tolls.
Unless you need the car down there(why not rent one), ryanair all the way.

If you are going soon I would go Rosslare-Roscoff/Cherberg as it would cost alot for ferry to UK then driving to ferry terminal and getting another ferry to Spain. Might take a little longer though. Its about an 18hour drive from France and about 9 hours from inside Spain.
