Apparently, they've cut off everything bar the electricity. No communication in or out. Very draconian, even for Israel - who the fúck do they think they are??

Manic, obviously some communication cannot be controlled by Israel, for example satellite internet connections.

My first experience of Twitter was the Moscow subway bombings, when the media had little to no information, but people on the ground were tweeting what was happening, and so I became a fan, but seeing how the Madeline McCann trend went into ridiculous proportions in the course of about 2 hours, when used the wrong way, it can be worse then useless.

In case you werent aware of what happened with the Madeline McCann trend, there were some unconfirmed reports she had been found, which a large group of people re-tweeted, then people started tweeting about her in general, then people started to assume she had been found, otherwise, why else would everyone be talking about her, then people started to tweet that yes she had in fact been found, and then mass disappointment.

Since then, I follow a few people I trust, and who know how to work the technology. Any unsubstantiated claims and they get blocked.

Surely this gaza thing should be easy to confirm? Lets have a go.
