Conversion courses? Elec -> Mech?

    I'm currently on course to finish a degree in electronic engineering, but the further I go through the course, the less sure I am of whether or not it's what I want to be doing or not. Is it possible to "convert" from electronics to mechanical engineering without having to repeat the final 2 or 3 years of an undergrad? I know most of the fundamentals are taught at undergraduate. I don't want to drop out of electronics and switch into mechanical as I do like electronics and I'm wary of it being a "grass is greener" style situation. Saying that, I'm curious as to whether there is an option to do so further down the line.

    I presume I could move over via mechatronics?

    Thanks in advance :)

    I know allot of master such as computer aided mechanical and manufacturing at DCU, do intro courses going onto the more advanced for transfer student such as physics and other subjects. Have a look.
