    will the riots in london cause insurance to rise over here in ireland with most of the insurers being from britain?

    I expect some kind of mini-boom in London when the lolly gets paid out as a whole lot of retailers re-invent their businesses with the cash.

    yes the insurance will go up as insurance companies spread the load

    insurance went up after 9/11 even though both here and in the UK it's the government who pay out for terrorist attacks and the insurance companies would have had NO liabliity :mad::mad:

    no, it will go up because you have no choice but to pay up. Riots will have nothing to do with it.
