I was looking on a few different websites and see there are a couple of different types of C02 pump. I was wondering was one better than the other or is there much difference. Does threaded have any advantage over non threaded?

Threaded can be used with a smaller inflater head, like this, whereas the threadless ones need a bigger device as the canister has to be able to be contained within it. As to specific models, I'm afraid I haven't used any to offer advice on that.

Also I'd say you're better off with an inflator rather than a combination hand pump and inflator. If the hand pump seals start to go you won't get as much pressure from the CO2.

Note that CO2 may not be air freighted so you're limited as to your choice of suppliers. I got a load of cartridges and a few inflators from http://www.co2cartridges.co.uk/eu/

The Genuine Inflations Microflate Nano is the best I've used. The only downside it it's a bit big.

I have a Specialized one and don't like it much - you have to push down a spring rather than just unscrewing the canister to let the air flow.

Also, the GI Cartridge Cross saves pocket space and avoids the dreaded saddlebag.

I used to use a Second Wind Mini combination pump/CO2, but it stopped working after a year or two of sitting on the bike in all weathers.

If you just want a CO2 inflator, stick with the simplest ones, like the Microflate Nano Lumen mentioned.

I've had various enclosed expensive types from SKS & Zefal and they ALL blew into pieces after a period of use ( all would have been kept in my jersey pockets as well) just at the one time you needed them.

FWIW The SKS was miles better than the Zefal ones ( PURE SH!TE !), but it still blew up eventually.

Biggest problem with these inflators is that you're not using them everyday, like say a track pump, so it might not get used for over a year, the more complicated/fancy it is, the greater the chance of it failing.

This looks like a good combination and its got the old fashioned valve friendly hose :
