I heard you can make it do 2d,

but on the real, check out this place it just got up and running should have some info,

You can get the standard DS cards running on them, Acekard 2i works etc. But only in DS mode, no DSi/3DS software as the security has yet to be broken.

To be honest, I'd be happy if there were any decent games out for the thing. Five months on & the only must have game is a 15 year old N64 port with tweaked textures & painted on 3D effects.
