Organising ski trip - Ireland + UK travellers

    Hello all,

I'm organising a ski trip for a few people in the UK (Scotland specifically) and Ireland and I was wondering does anyone know of any companies that might cater to this (i.e. some travellers from different destinations but booking as a group)? We're on a bit of a budget (as much as you can be on a skiing holiday), so not looking to break the bank either.

Any pointers in the right direction very much appreciated!

Your best bet would be to book your accommodation for everyone and then let the two groups book their own flights, you could organize a taxi for each group as you'll probably arrive at different times. Depending on were your going, a lot of resorts have dedicated taxi/bus services to and from the airports.

    Two options.

    a) as overflow suggests - book accommodation for everyone and bookg flights separately

    b) contact one of the tour operators who operates out of uk and irl - often they will fly flights from multile locations into the one airport/resort on the same day. Ask the agents if this happens and then just book your trips from same week to same place

I have organised a trip before through DirectSki with people travelling from different locations. The one going from the different location did make their own way completely, but the option was there to have booked their flights from a different departure point as well if we had needed it. We were also able to all pay the balance separately as well, after the initial deposit.

We do this every year with a group travelling from London and a group from Dublin- we have never managed to link up the flights and transfer - each group books their own but we do book accomodation together. We go DIY and dont use TO's - mainly because we are confined to school holidays.
