    Hey all,

I've made an app for UCC students called 'Cork SSG' ( student survival guide ) it's aimed at mainly first years who are new to the area and hopefully it'll help some out!

Anyway here's a link: http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/cork-ssg/id452859534?ls=1&mt=8 which should explain the app to you.

Also if anyone does use it, any suggestions recomendations or comments would be greatly appreciated as iPhone app developing is entirely new to me :)

    Thanks!

Thanks, I'm planning to make an android version, but I'm not 100% sure if/when I'll be able to do this. I'll post back here if I make one though :)

I'm sure if you got in contact with the student union, they'll give it some press for you. :D

Thanks, I might try that, I did email them about merging this app into an app for them but the person who my email was forwarded too didn't get back to me.

That's a pretty neat app, I couldn't find any of my friends apartments for ages when I first got to Cork ^^ Good Luck

Nice idea. I don't have an iPhone so can't really have a look, but if you do end up doing an Android version feel free to send me a PM if you need any advice!

Does their parents rise out of the ultra expensive phone and do their cooking washing and bottom wiping? You need an android ap for sure

As of last night I've started android developing( not this app yet, a simpler one first) so hopefully in a week or two I'll have an android version

If the iPod touch is iOS 4 it'll definitely work.

:D iPhone can be got pretty cheaply now, plus iPod's will support it and they're not expensive... I do hope to get an android app done soon.

    Thanks everyone for the comments!

Just an update on this, I'm having a lot of trouble with android and don't think I'll be able to develop the app any time soon. Sorry about that!
