TCP/IP model question

    I have been looking over TCP/IP model and have a question about it.

    I have come across two different amounts of layers.

    Some books and sites say there are 4(application, transport, internet, network access) layers

    And others say there are 5(application, transport, network, data link and physical) layers.

    So my question is which one is more used or correct.
    For example if a question came up in an exam which would you be more correct in using.

    Whatever the exam is expecting, i.e. whatever model is in the study material for the exam.


    If you were to ask me I'd say "application, transport, internet, network access"
