Laptop for development

    Budget: $700

    Intended use:     internet, programming(Intellij), I probably will not be playing games on this system.
    I will also need to hook the laptop up this screen
    Samsung B2430H 24 inch Widescreen LCD Full HD Monitor

    I take it a HDMI connection will get the most out of this.

     Mobility: I will not be moving this laptop around much, so mobility is not important.

    Warranty:     Not important

    What Operating System do you use?     Windows will be putting linux on it as well.


    Do I need more that 4GB of memory for this system, or would anything else just be a waste?
    Intels 2nd Generation is there any need to go for anything above the i3?

    Which websites are the best to buy off, I am confused as there are so many.
