Hi all, this might be a long shot but worth a go .... I work for a large hotel in Cork and we want to provide more disabled parking bays in our car park. Our maintenance guy will do the actual painting but he needs a template. Is there anywhere in Cork that we can hire or buy one ? If not can anybody recommend a reliable company to do the job for us.

    Thanks in advance ...

    Andrew

i suggest he make one out of lino flooring, this would be a great material to make one... go somewhere with the symbol, take a few measurements/dimensions, draw the symbol on lino and cut it out with a scalpel or stanley knife, place lino template on parking space, centre it, paint exposed ground...Bobs your uncle
If the maintenance guy can't draw, surely there is one employee in the hotel who can...
    good luck..

Why not make one from aluminium and put on a pole in the grass that way if you need to move them later its easier...

Most of these type of road markings/symbols are actually a type of plastic that is melted onto the surface, if you look you will see they are not paint and are actually raised above the tarmac/concrete.

You should just get a white line marking company to do them, will cost probably €50 to €75 per symbol... maybe even less? It will probably look terrible if you try and do it your self with a tin of paint.
