    Hay all,

    K so have an interview with paddy power as apart of their customer support team

    Have a few questions if you could please help :)

    It is an online webcam interview, what can I expect?
    What's it like working for Paddy Power?
    What is the wage structure like?

    I worked for PP in their customer service team for a short while.

    They treat their employees well, but I found them a little unethical. For example, my supervisor told me explicitly not to get into any sort of conversation with the obvious problem gamblers as we would have to close their account if they mentioned their problem. There were other issues which made me uneasy and was the reason I quit.

    But if you don't care about that sort of stuff it is a handy number.

    Regarding the interview, it was very informal. As long as you can speak clearly and have a patient sort of personality you will do fine. The money was fairly low as fair as I remember.

    The webcam interview is quite straight forward. You'll be sent a link and will have a chance to do a practice run before starting the interview proper to make sure you are ready to go.

    Once you start the interview you will be presented with the first pre-set question on screen and given a set time to answer it. You answer each question in turn and then finish the interview. You can't go back and re-record answers, and you can't leave the interview midway and come back later. In that respect it's like a real interview. But there is nobody watching you while you answer the questions.

    The webcam takes in you and the room behind you, so make sure that there are no empty vodka bottles on the shelf behind you, or stack of dirty dishes! Find a quiet room and make sure you won't be interupted.

    Best of luck with the interview. From what I know of Paddy Power they are a decent company to work for and look after their staff.
