Social running in Oranmore

    Hi All...

    I live in Oranmore and Im interested in meeting others who live in oranmore who are interested in running on a regular basis but just for fun. Nothing serious. 2/3 times a week for 20min runs. I want to become more active in my own community and id like a chance to meet more people from the area so Im not interested in running with clubs outside Oranmore.

    Cathal, don't know about any running groups in Oranmore but I know that a good few from Oranmore are part of Craughwell Athletic Club. From what I know, the club accommodates all levels of runners and they are a very sociable group. Bite the bullet and maybe join them. There are organised 5k runs in various parts of the county during May and June which are great social outlets.
