Two Gmail Accounts open in one Browser - How to???

    Hi,

I've a work email hosted by Google Apps and a personal Gmail account but I can't find a way to open both of them on different tabs in the same browser. If I'm logged into one the browser automatically logs me out of the other. It's really frustrating.

At the moment I can only think of two work arounds neither of which I want to do:-

    1. Launch my personal Gmail account in a seperate broswer i.e. use Chrome for my main browser and work email and Firefox solely for my personal Gmail account.

    2. Close my personal Gmail account and set up a new one on something like www.GMX.com (or better if anyone has any suggestions)

If I have to I'll do one of the two work arounds but I'd be excira and delira if someone could show me a way to keeping two google accounts logged into the one tabbed browser session.

Serious kudos for anyone who can solve this little pet hate problem of mine ;)

    Ben

If you go into gmail setting there is an option have too muliti account switch it on, I would do this in your personnal account as it will be your default account. Open a new tab in your browser log of your default account then into your work one.
    One browser,two tabs.
There is also video on how too do it on youtube some where

I separate out work and personal onto two separate browsers to avoid cross contamination. It's not so much a problem with gmail but can cause some embarrassment on facebook and youtube.
