As a Part time student what can i get!

    Hey all so i was looking in to the student travel card and found from what i can see that i cant get it cos im only part time!
    Can anyone give me any info on anything i can apply for! as im a part time student with no job and cant get a grant and was also told im not jobless long enough to get the back-to- enducation thing! so right now looks like im on my own!
    Any info on things i can get would be great, like is there a travel card for someone like me.... etc!

    If you're studying part-time you could start signing on for Jobseeker's Benefit, as far as I know, as technically you would be available for part-time work. Although, if you've already checked about BTEA then they may have told you that already.

    Also, if you're not working, is there any chance you could just switch to studying full-time? I know it depends on the course but if you're just starting this year you could maybe take it on a full-time basis instead.

    ya im Jobseeker's just dont get money days im in uni, course is only part time sadly no full time option!

    Anyone know or heard of someone doing a part time course and also doing a small fas course (or what ever they calling it now) just somthing else to pass time!
