    Can anyone give a rough idea of the procedure and conduct of a hearing by the Refugee Appeals Tribunal?

    i.e Will the questions be directed at appellant;
    Submissions etc

    Many thanks

    B

    This should be discussed with your solicitor. If you cannot afford one, talk to the refugee legal service (part of the legal aid board). As this is a Tribunal, you can make submissions if you wish (written or oral) and the Tribunal Member will ask questions directly to the appellant.

    If you are involved in such a hearing and you don't have legal representation, you really should get some, especially seeing as it will be (just about) free from the RLS.
