Why am i payin 13.5 vat on some things and 21 on others?

I am a registerd business and i noticed today 1 of my suppliers is charging me 13.5 vat on parts but my other suppliers are charging 21? when i resell these parts im ment to charge 21 vat yes? whats the diff between 13 + 21 thanks

Are you VAT registered?
