    how much would a man want to spend on a milking parlour fo 60 cows as thinking of putting in a new one

    Depends on how much bells and whistles you want, but i would imagine for a 10 unit 30k for no frills up to 50k having feeding system and milk jars and the sky is the limit after that depending on how much money you have burning a hole in your pocket
    Or Spend 100k plus and get your self a robot and you wont have to milk anymore;)

    Hi OP are you just installing a new machine in exsisting shed or are you starting from scratch? My sugestion would be to look for 2 old 6 unit parlours with the same electronic pulsation system and join them together with a new vac pump, milk pump and recieving jar.

    If the seat's wet, sit on yer hat, a cool head is better than a wet ar5e.

    A basic parlour works out around €2000 a unit for the machine and then the building and stallwork on top of that. I think the most important things when building a parlour are units and cow flow and after that then the extras like acrs etc..

    anybody using 2"lines on a 12 unit parlour.have 10 and thinking of adding 2 more but only have 2"lines.recomendations are 10 max but is that for 7 or 8 gallon cows and not my grass fed girls doing average 5+peak
