    Hi,

Just bought a new Dell XPS 8300 to go with Cubase 6. Its Win 7 64bit.

My existing Audiophile 2496 wont work with it as its pci and I have only pci express slots now.

Looking for a USB 2.o external soundcard with a budget of up to €200.

Can any one reccommend anything with win 7 64bit drivers and low latency in Cubase please?

Is the M-Audio Fast track Pro any good?

    thanks

Do you have a firwire port? I'm using M-Audio ProFire 610 and it's pretty good. I'd recommend it if it's feasible. I'm using it with Windows 7 64bit, FL Studio DAW on a firewire connection. I picked up a 2nd hand one for €150

    Hi Guys,

stereo phono outputs as I'm sending sound to an amp using phono cables.

Not real requirement for inputs as yet, maybe in future. I use a usb connected midi keyboard.

No firewire ports on the pc as far as i know.

Thanks for the replies so far.

I'm using a Novation Nio 2:4 and can't fault it.

Used it for playing out djing before I got my audio8, and the sound quality was much the same.

In the studio at home it suits my needs, all in the box mixing, for the moment, but it has 2 mic inputs.

Was going to mention Apogee One but realised your PC only. I'd have a look at this one - it's only €99. Or you could get a higher end model from the same range:

Alternatively their Audio 6 is €249 if you want inputs.

Another contender is this one from Focusrite - 2 inputs and phono outputs €175:
