Attic floor calculation help

    Hey there looking someone's mathematical help..... I want to a floor down in my attic the floor is 16ft x 20ft approx how much packs do I need to get from b&q?

    Also dose anyone know were is the best place to buy the flooring around Dublin north or Meath area

    16ft x 20ft is 320 sq ft, or 29.7289728 sq meters

    Divide the area 1 pack covers into this figure to calculate required quantity.

    I assume it's the chipboard 3 packs for attics your talking about.
    If so they are 4ft long by 2 ft wide by 3 boards = 24 sq ft or 2.3 metres so you will need 13 packs. Dont forget the screws. 4 or 5 mm by 40 or 50mm is suitable.
